Actually Specter, they have done a lot of multi-part eppys, in fact most of them do in fact involve legendaries. Such as Team Rocket vs. the mother and baby Lugia, Kyogre vs. Groudon, the Raikou trilogy (but that was Pokémon Chronicles), the Articuno trilogy, and a small Moltres thingy ... thats all I can think of (wow, what would we do without Serebii xP) </essay>[/FONT]

But they always seem to put legendaries in the anime, like, a generation after their first debut ... so we may expect to some Lati-ness soon~desu! -^_^-

Woah, I had no idea about those, 'cept for Articuno and Lugia. Please forgive my ignorance.

It will be interesting to see what the episode will be about. For all we know, Latias is the only one of her kind in any of the regions, and she's in Altomare. We know that there are at least multiple Articunos and Lugias. The Lugia in the episodes didn't speak, and I think it didn't have as developed of a personality of the one in the movie. Perhaps the same will happen to Latias? I hope not. If there are multiple Latis, there's a good chance we'll see a Latios as well.

As for Rene's question, of course they can. My Latias does it all the time.

Yeah I did see those episodes with the Legendaries...ecxept the ending of the baby Lugia episode. And yeah, the Lati's might just appear in an episode soon.

Yeah, they can defeat steel types, cause they can learn flamethrower.

Oh yes, there are indeed many Latis! As seen here in the movie's screens:

=_= Didnt I post these before?

And my Latias can smoke steel types easily with her Thunderbolt!-desu~ ~_^

Indeed. An episode involving Latias or any other Lati might be centered around Team Rocket trying to capture all the Latis.

However, I do see a problem. While there is no doubt that there are many Latis, I do doubt that they are in Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh. If there are as many Latis as depicted in that mosaic, surely quite a few people would have seen them? I know that they can become invisible, but based on what we see in the movie, only opticaly invisible. Thermal scanners and powerful enough radar should be able to pick them up. While Altomare isn't a likely place to have such equipment in abundance, if at all, surely other Latis would have been detected by people with that eqiupment?

Well if you look at those screens, they all came from the sky! 'Gotta make you wonder, "Where the heck did they come from anyway?!"

My guess is that most of them don't actually reside in crowded regions with lots of people, but rather in small secluded places like Altomare, or Southern Island (from the game). Or, by looking at those screens, maybe they came from heaven! desu~

That would be an interesting thought! ^_^

I see your point. Latis, being as intelligent as they are, would probably not seek to reside in densly packed, high tech, urban areas. But who knows? They definately have uniqe personalities. Maybe one or two decided they prefer the bustling excitement of a city over the slow and easy life of an out of the way town.

Might it be a possibility that the Latis came not from Earth, but from the stars? Perhaps they are extraterrestrials, having their home planet in search of a new place to call home due to some disaster, and happening to find and like Earth.
A radical thought.

^ You and Sarah both messed up the font coding when you pplz quoted me xDD

But true true, indeed!

And the Latis may have come from space (or at least find it as a second home there) when you look at them in these beautiful Latias* and Latios* holofoil cards!

They look so happy there desu~!

(No these arent mine ... Im not gonna pay a hundred bucks for these! Dx)

Latias looks happy. Latios looks like he's hunting down a TIE fighter.

Woah...*drools*Those are the most awesome cards I have ever seen.^-^

Yeah, and I think thier personalities are very well depicted in the cards, too.

roflroflrofl Specter!

Although then again, maybe thats Latios's idea of a good time desu~? xD

He was never a big happy smiler like her little sister..

Latias would probably fly in circles around the TIE, while the poor pilot sat there, completely confused.

Meh, Latios was always serious. Probably having something to do with the fact that Latios is male.
Maybe Latios should join Rouge Squadron.

Maybe, but how do they breathe in space? Space is a vacuum. Thier insides would get...well, I don't think I want to say it, but I think we all know what happens when you go in space w/o a space suit. *face gets pale*

The same way they breather in water. THEY MAKE THE AIR.

JK. I have no earthly idea.

Theyre the Eon Pokémon! They can do many things we are incapable of, silly! ^_^

Those cards are awesome though, you can heal your Pokémon and damage an opponent at the same time! Too bad you cant have two "*" cards in the same deck at the same time! T_T

Well, they'd have a pretty easy time beating TIE fighters, because Ion Engines go like less than 1/10 of a mile an hour in real life.

well, Deoxys comes from space...why can't the Lati's?

Do many things we're incapable of? Like even keeping their insides inside themselves in space? Pretty awesome.

They could probably own a TIE fighter flying like they do in Star Wars as well, seeing they have no sheilding and their peripheral vision is horrible (the TIEs I mean).

As for your question, I dunno. Maybe because there's more of them and there's less likely that chance that that many would make the move.

well, I suppose you are right...But, I don't really know what you're talking about in the first place,. I only know that you were saying something about TIE fighters and something being more than another... Ah, well the Lati's would win any day!!

lol were all talking at the same time desu~! x_x

oh well, better this than inactivity I suppose! Im still getting lost in all the conversation!

Well who knows, Earth is the only place for lightyears that sustains other life, so I suppose anywhere else would be utterly uninteresting! xD

But traveling from any inhabital planet (which we know would be FAR from Earth) would SUCK. Even Latis traveling at the speed they do would take hundreds, if not thousands of years to make the trip. Unless... they created their own type of jump/warp/hyperdrive.

Hmm. This is getting lightly confusing! @_@
Yeah, worm-holes would be the fastest way of transportation. But, as far as I know, Lati's can't do that...
Anyways, the Lati's are a mystery in really every way. Which adds to thier awesome-ness!!^^
