THE LEGACY
​

Ok guys. THE LEGACY is for fun, and a little reputation building. It is based on certain ranks of members, which are not constant, a leader and 5 co-leaders which are all not constant. It is basically to do some of the following things:

1- Have fun by starting discussions and enjoying a good conversation with other members, also helping some members to get to know eachother better.

2- The great fealing of being a part of something organized and knowing that one day you could be leader.

3- Starting projects like: Hacks ; Tutorials for the entire group to give to the outside ; and anything else you could think of..............

4- Members helping eachother master other aspects of hacking, and helping beginners loosen up there stress and giving them an easy way to learn the ways of hacking and become a part of something big.


So it's basically to have fun and be a member of a big group (someday of course), which by itself, may I say....is AWESOME......

BIRTHDAY​

RULES​

1- Cannot in anyway differentiate according to race in the group. (For all)

2- Cannot post something offensive against another member. (For all)

3- MEMBERS cannot disobey an order from a co-leader or leader or elder, but that's only orders, so in projects, co-leaders, leaders, and elders can discuss frealy and any suggestions by the co-leaders or leaders or elders are not considered commands.

4- Not allowed to do what their positions denies them.... so for example, if a level 1 member makes a discussion he gets an infraction... and so on.....

An infraction is given to whoever breaks a rule, and any L1 or L2 with one infraction is delayed another month before he is elevated. L3 with 2 infractions cannot be elected co-leader. Infractions are removed after one month. Get 3 infractions, and you are removed from the group.

POSITION DESCRIPTION​

Well sooner or later, you're all gonna have to understand your positions so read these:

1- LEADER / ELDER :

The leader can make new projects and discussions, he can edit any existing projects and is the one who invites members suggested by the Co-Leaders. He can also choose members himself and takes guidance from the Co-Leaders. Removes any member who gets 3 infractions within the group. He can also elevate certain members immediately without the 2 months rule, or he could delay it. Also adds members as Senior Members. Every 6 months, the leader steps down and chooses one of the co-leader to take his place. He then becomes an Elder. Has less decision making rights than the leader, but his experience makes him a place of trust for the current leader, and a guider, but can't actually change anything. Once an elder, always an elder.

2- CO-LEADER :

Can make projects and discussions without the concent of the leader. Can suggest members to the leader. Can also suggest to remove certain members. He can also elevate certain members immediately without the 2 months rule, or he could delay it. Can gives direct orders, marked at the end of the post by: "That's an order". If a Co-Leader becomes the leader, he must choose a Senior Member to take his place.

3- MEMBERS :

First a L1 MEMBER, in 2 Month, he becomes L2, and in another 2 months, becomes an L3. Each members have certain rights and duties:

-A. L1: Can do nothing. All he can do is attend classes.

-B. L2: Attends classes, and has the right to join projects, cause L1 members can't join projects.

-C. L3: Can make new discussions, join classes and join projects. Can suggest new members, and can put in a good word for a member to immediately elevate him one level. Can also make classes and projects.

4- CONSULTANT


Ok this is new, and I got the idea from a disturbing incident. A consultant is like a member, but does not have to be active, and can't be part of projects and classes. He helps those who need it. Like a semi-member.

5- SENIOR MEMBER

Ok to tell the truth, i made this rank because i don't think it is fair that all members are elevated every few months, regardless of how active they are, or how much they benefited the team, so this rank will be given to the best of members, who can make projects, classes, and are very important, that only a senior member can be chosen as co-leader......

When we get enough members to start a hack that's what we'll do. I think we have an idea and we might start working on a hack called DrakBlack version.... but maybe.... this is one of our Co-Leader's Idea's, but I'm not sure he wants me to say his username..... but still......

We are going to have classes about a lot of hacking subjects.... only Co-Leaders and the Leader and Level 3 members can start to teach classes....... Level 1 members can only take classes and have to to be elevated...... the first of you to join will be immediately elevated to level 2 so you can help in the hack.....

Ok people, I'm not always on, so out two senior members are now mods of the legacy, so they can maintain order...because they are the most active, have dedicated a lot, and i trust a lot...lol....they can remove perminantly any member, or recruit anyone, without consultant from me, of course with reason...lol...

TOOLS​

Ok these tools are not any tools, they were made by a LEGACY member. Of course they are not exclusive to the legacy, and the maker, who is ShadowMrk BTW, made them to help the hacing world in general, but what is cool, is that they were made in our midsts.

Tool 1 POC (Palette Order Changer)

What it does: This tools is used to change the order of colors in a palette without editting the image, this makes the job of tile inerters and pokemon sprite inserters a lot easier. Just hit file --> open, browse for the bitmap, and in the first box, type in the number of the color you want to switch, ranging from 0 to 15, and in the second box, the number of the color you want to switch it with, and hit switch. The other function of openning a certain bitmap from a rom at a certain offet is still in development.

Tool 2 Movement Editor

What it does: Instead of having to type the number of the movement that scripters want, this program inserts the movement automatically, so instead of typing

and when you hit compile, a list of the pointers and their offsets appear, click on the pointer you want to insert movements, and hit copy (do not close this window yet if you want to edit anymore pointers), now open movement editor, open the rom, paste the offset in the box and open it, now choose the movement you want from the list, and hit add movement and so on untill all movements are added (make sure the last one is end), now hit save, and you can do this for the rest of the pointers you want to edit.....thank you ShadowMrk....
