Iris traveled carefully, he was constantly on the alert. He was tempted to ask other pokemon for information that might be useful when he rejoined the group, but he knew he couldn't. After all, any pokemon could be a spy from the scientists. He was on his own for now. As he stepped into the Ice Cavern, he instantly regretted it. The air was frigid, icy cold that made him begin to shiver uncontrollably. That wasn't the worst part though. The thing that really made his fur curl was the actual ice paths. He placed a paw on the thick, frozen water and instantly fell flat on his face. Taking another tactic, he decided to run and jump. That ended in disaster as well, he bounced around wildly of various obstacles. Ow... I feel like a pinball. This has got to be the most lethal cave I've ever been in he thought as he flew across the ice.
After slipping and sliding into rocks, walls, and other pokemon he finally made it to the last cavern. He could see light to the far left, that must be where the exit was. Bracing himself, he slid across the final path of doom and raced to the entrance. Bright light and warm sunshine greeted. Of course, this is when his dark type instincts took over, he quickly shied away from the yellow beams. Still, a little sunlight is easier to put up with that that heck hole he just got out of. He traveled around the outskirts of Blackthorn City, down towards the mountains. Hopefully, the Ice Cavern was the most dangerous part of his trip, perhaps the rest wouldn't be so life threatening.
((*jumps up and down* I haven't forgotten!))
