Mudkipblader, nope can't get the tunic back. :x
Uhh...I admire anime for its more mature feel and complex plots. Anime appeals to more mature audiences and understands that animation is a medium - not a genre. Only recently in the rest are we starting to understand that. Pixar is leading in creating animated films that appeal to all ages (John Lassester of Pixar is in fact responsible from bringing several Miyazaki films over here).
But...from a visual standpoint, I dislike anime. One style is repeatedly used and appears formulaic. It lacks any individual artistic personality. Yeah, there are some variations from show to show and between artists, but there is contrived look and pattern to it designed for efficiency. Anime's strong point is that its cheaper and more efficient. Using fewer frames of animation, anime is hardly as fluid as western animation. Backgrounds often look breathtaking, while characters move like robots. Anime has great stories, great characters, and huge potential - but I hate it from a visual standpoint. I don't mind it in manga because it doesn't move (but everything still basically looks the same).
Er...long story short. I don't want a Zelda anime.
