I laughed slightly. Big mistake. With my stomach still tender, I had to force down the bile. How could I have done that? I'd killed in cold blood. No wonder they wanted our kind dead. I forced a smile, though it was a tight one, nor did it reach my eyes and said "Shall we continue our walk?"

"If you still want to." I was fine with it, but he still looked uneasy. I didn't blame him.

"Ju... Just a second" I stammered, holding a hand to my stomach. I staggered off into the woods, vomited noisaly, and returned. with anoter smile, I heaved a relieved sigh and said "Okay, we're good."

OOC: Overview please... Thanks!
((OOC: LOL Went a little too far for you, did we? I'm sorry.

Here's what I know:
TAD's character and I were about to go on a walk, when two guys with riffles jumped us. They said they were working for the government, that a new law had been passed that all mages were to be captured. TAD's character kind of... mutilated them. Now we're about to go on our little walk of happiness again. XD

As for everyone else, I think they're just talking.))

I put a hand on his shoulder. "Are you sure you're okay?" Hopefully he'd be feeling better now though.

My face was still a little pale, but I nodded and said "Yeah. I'm fine. Say" I added, suddenly remembering one of my favorite places in the entire forest. "There's a nice little waterfall near here, if you'd give me the time to run home and get some food, we could make a picnic out of it."

At that moment I realized just how hungry I was. "Sounds good," I said. "A picnic would be nice."

OOC: Kay thanks Bec!

IC: My feet hit the rough ground softly, and suddenly our house was in front of me. I had reached home. By place of the sun, it was only 6:30, my companions should be here anytime soon, if only to grab a bite to eat. I walked in to find no one, but my best friend, Katelyn.

OOC: Introducing a New Character:

Name: Katelyn
Description: Small, short, with straight blonde hair. She has dark green eyes that sparkle with light. She wears long flowing white dresses that almost touch the ground, even in casual wear.
Personality: Bright, fun, and aweosme to be aorund. She has a great sence of humor, and loves to laugh, even at herself. She loves herself, as well as nature, she also has a secret crush, although no one knows who.
Powers: She has control of the element fire, and heat.

I smiled and jogged off. The small, one-room cabin I used could hardly be called comfortable, or spacious, but it served my needs well enough. I rifled through my few cabinets, pulling out a small billy can, some ramen, dried meat and two canteens. Jamming it all into the pack I kept by the door, I hoisted the load onto my back and returned to where Felicia was waiting. Grinning, I said breathlessly "Shall we depart, then?"

He seemed out of breath. He musta hurried. "Alright, lead the way," I said. I'd been sitting down so I sat up and stood beside him.

I walked off down a small, out-of-the-way trail. I'd actually blazed it myself, after a few years of trying, and more dead-ends than I cared to count. It was a pleasent walk, sunlight streaming down through the leaves. It made beautiful dappled patterns on the forest floor.

Kately looked over at me as I walked in, "Hi Jasper," Was all she said before turning her attention to the hologram-like television she had created. She was pretty good with electronics, as well as being a human welding torch. "What's on?" I aksed. "Oh nothing realy, I"m just watching MHG," She replied, "50 Pent is on."

I walked right at his heels, taking in the sights. I haven't enjoyed myself so much in awhile, I thought. "It's so beautiful," I said.

I smiled softly and said "It is at that." The trail began going up a slight incline now, the falls were at the beginning of the foothills. A small brook wound across the path, with an equally diminuitive bridge cutting across it.

I turned into a cat and trotted a little ways ahead, up onto the bridge. About half-way across I stopped and looked down into the water. It's so clear, that's what's nice about living out here.

As he raised his hands to tighten his headband, Rey suddenly froze. Though distant, he detected faint sounds of movement from a living being. His curiosity aroused, he gave a polite partial bow of farewell before turning and starting away. What the sound was, he knew not. But, he felt enough interest to attempt to pursue it.

Velenga lost interest in fighting Rey and soon was curios what he was going after.*Thats strange it's like he feels some sort of danger coming*.She said in her head.*It's crazy for him to go alone....with out someone.Ie yah! what are you saying!
She asked herself."GRrr HEY YOU!...wait for me!"She yelled at him and isntinly stood up".She remembered that she didn't know his name or who he was!*Well who ever he is he isn't leaving with out someone!*and followed him.

Glancing back toward Velenga, Rey said nothing. However, a faint expression that some might think a smile briefly passed over his features. Then without a word, he turned and continued on. Though he did not slow his pace, neither did he make any attempts to quicken it. Rather, he continued on in his normal manner--his cat-like gaze drifting about in search of the source of his curiosity.

Breathing evenly Velenga still tryed to catch up with him.*I wonder if someone is trying to trick him...*"You know it's stupid for you to go alone like this!".Seeing that he wasn't paying much atteion to her she yelled"Hey you know that even dumber people know not to race to the opening buy a brain sales!.Hahahaha ouch!".She said not looking and slaming in a tree.

Still walking, Rey allows a partial smile to appear on his face at the latest incident. However, the expression in his eyes was unchanging--quiet, stable, and staid. Suddenly pausing, the mage stiffens as the sound seems to draw nearer. A faint sensation of suspicion brushes through him. Then, as the feeling passes, he resumes walking despite any reservations he might have.
