The Manga Creation Support Club!!

... Probably my Galaxy Angel and CCS crossover short. I thought it was funniest because it's Ranpha and Li complaining about how Milfie and Sakura only like to eat. 8D

EDIT: Picture? Please? You just have to save the Aisha picture, and, when you are posting, scroll down to additional options. Then click manage attachments and upload the image. Then you can close the window and when you post the image file will be there too.
 
hee. My first manga I did, which was in the summer between 6th and 7th grade, was h o r r i b l e. The animation was bad, the plotting was chiche, and was very hard to understand. My favorite would be...a furure manga I did, called 04. I loved the ending, and I loved all the characters in that. And plus, at that point, I was really starting to improve a whole lot in drawing.

That sounds cute! I can definetely imagine Ranpha and Li especially with their short-temperedness.

I'm a little lost as well ;; but anyhow I'll respond to some of the topics I saw:

Favorite manga you did

I really like the one I'm working on right now, though I'm still getting the plott down. I have the character names and looks down so far but I'm going to have to do more pre-drawings of them doing different poses other than standing. I'm also going to try to draw some of the begging scenery before anything else =D.

Genre?
I know this is more towards Akio's but my favorite genre is romance/drama/action/historical....I know a lot but I tend to like those kinds though Romance is usually by itself.
 
Oooh. When you get done drawing the characters, maybe you can show it here. I wanna see your backgrounds/sceneries. =D
 
I hope I can too =D My backgrounds will take place in New York-so probably some city like scenery here and there along side Osaka so once I research what it looks like there I'll be good-to-go ^-^

I have a random, non realated to anything comic going on right now with a bunch of gags pretty much...I just take anime characters and video game ones too...and just make my charcter duckie (based off of me and my nick name at school) to be the end of their jokes...or I make them miserable....all I know is that Ahiru thinks I'm mocking her when I quack...(she kicks me..;_; )

I'm thinking about reviving that one comic me and Keizah were doing along time ago...It seemed pretty cool...except now, I'm writing AND drawing And coloring and ..XD meh... you get it...

No one is intrested in helping someone with their manga down here...it has to be the manga they made up or else they just draw it themselves...-_-;;

This manga is special to me, becuase one of the main characters is where I got my name from... so I really want to do this.
 
True, but try to post a topic or something ^-^ So, I have a couple to keep us occupied:

What Steps do you take when creating your manga?
1.) Think over the plot and write it down in chronological order, I mean if you don't have a plot, what are you going to draw? XD
2.) Get a rough sketch of all the characters
3.) Get a rough sketch of all the scenery for the first few chapters
4.) Begin the actual work and inking

For you, what is the hardest thing to accomplish?
For me it has to be getting the perfect look for the scenery and the charecters. If one thing looks off I have to redo the entire thing until it's perfect.

Plus, has anyone heard about the manga making software for yuor computer (or does anyone have it?) I think I saw an add about it somewhere, but I lost it X_x
