Here is where you can discuss the joys and perils of abusing hypnosis in "The March of the Exeggutor Squad."

    My review to come forthwith.

This will be edited-out later, but I'll say it on here. This is the last of the 4Kids syndicated episodes, with a few to cover for next month. Then, come Feburary, I'll commence with the first Kids' WB episodes, so that should be lots of fun.

Also, thanks to everyone for playing and being active in these discussions, as it's been a blast.

Well, I can't wait for those KidsWB episodes. But when you say 4Kids do you mean the Foxbox or whatever they called it back then?

Now for the review. I didn't understand this episode when Charmeleon started hating Ash. I mean, why? Was it because of its past neglection? I don't know.

Overall, it was a nice episode with an evolution.

Misty fanservice. I thought it was pretty funny all the starters in the box going crazy, and Ash being hypnotised! We only see Charmeleon in about 3 episodes until it evolves and it is kind of odd how it evolves and then suddenly starts going crazy. But it gets worse when Charmeleon evolves, when it won't battle at all.

i think it feels it is too good for ash and wont listen to him because he knows ash wont do anything about it.

Oh, I keep forgetting about their recent name game change. Heh. Nah, when I say 4Kids (in this context), it's pre-Foxbox (which was 02).

Maybe the lizard was enduring puberty, and thus doing the teenager-like rebellion phase? Who knows?

I guess that means Fox Kids then?

Then why didn't Charmander not listen to him?

Well, I don't know about your channel, but where I live, the channel that aired pokemon before it continued on KidsWB was UPN69. After pokemon, it aired Duck Tales, Hercules, and Doug. Yep, that's about it.

I have to say that this was one of my fave episodes. Teeheehee All because Charmander evolve.

As in why Charmeleon wouldn't obey Ash. I guess the writers wanted to give Ash a pokemon that wouldn't obey him and Charmeleon fitted that mold since Charmeleon doesn't exactually look nice to begin.

Well, there was still Fox Kids, then dropped the format with the exception of Foxbox. I think I'm explaining the issue right. Or, I am becoming confused again. Heh.

Waves to Reyna. Haven't heard from you in a while. Better get cracking on these old episodes discussions. Hee.

In one of the next episodes, they said that Charmeleon wouldn't listen to Ash because it was so strong, and Ash didn't have the potential to train it. I loved Ash's face when they said that. XD

As far as I know, it was on UPN and they showed up to this episodes. Then I know it went to the WB and that where it was till it went to CN. Still I could be wrong.

SU!!! Hia Charaxes!!! I missed you!!! I try to get to the episodes I missed. Teeheehee
