Name:Captain Vance
Alias:Captain Swift
Gender:Male
Age:16
From:??
Occupation: Pirate
Rank: Pirate Captain
Pokemon:
Sharpedo
Appearance:
Long, thick cloak and black shirt underneath that is half covered by a coat and dark blue pants.
Purpose:To destroy the killers of his family.
Personality: Dark and sour, yet get the good side of him and he's nice. Get the bad side of him, and you don't like to know.
Small biography: His family was killed by pirates, and he joined a team of pirates. When he found out that the ships captain was one of the killers, he killed him and took his place as captain, and now he is a killer himself and is to sail the Betrayal and kill until his death(which is not coming soon because he is very swift and tricky earning his nickname).

IC:
I laughed and replied to the low-class sailor, "Oh, we are invisible, how sweet. Our ship is black, but every thing else is white. So? Toss him overboard." I climbed to the top of the mast and took a look around. "A child on a raft. And what's this? A ship? Even better. Prepare the cannons and shoot at the ship at our port!"

As the girl slid from Valoo's grasp, Captain Scruffy began his usually speech.

"Oy, girlie, you're a captive now," he said. "We want your Pokemon. That's all. Now just hand o'er the litte 'ing and you can be 'n your way. Me ship will take you 'nywhere. ' long as you cooperate."

The girl stared at him. He reached to grab the Vaporeon, but she pulled away.

Scruffy sighed. "Alder, mind gettin' the Pokemon from 'er? I don't want to spend more time 'n this."

He walked away, and with him so did the group of pirates who had been watching.

Lee Alder knelt near the girl, who he could see was frightened. "Just give us the Pokemon and everything will be okay. I don't want to have to hurt you, or make you walk the plank. Honestly, it would have been better for you to stay on that raft. Unless..." his eyes shown. "If you play along, you can join us, and get away without loosing your life, or your Pokemon." Now, he leaned closer and whispered in her ear. "Cause us priates, after we've looted you, you're dead."

Meanwhile, Hawkeye was pointing at a Charizard in the air.

"Bring 'er down," he called to the others. One sent up his own Charizard into the air. And so the fight began, the priates waiting to capture this new prize.

"Joanna, look over there, do you hear something?" Jenna whispered as she thought she heard faint shouts. "It could be a pirate ship. Want to go check it out?"

Joanna replied with a slight nod, still hypnotized in her thinking as Jenna managed to get a small rowboat and urged her to follow. "Hey, there's only room for one in here. You'll have to follow in another one." She said, pointing to another empty boat nearby. "This will be fun, I guarantee."

As they neared the ship, the talking became more clear. Jenna had trouble getting Joanna to catch up, however, and was too tired by the time they had reached it. She just simply decided to be a fisherman who got lost while fishing, and had lost their equippment. However Joanna would play it, didn't matter. "Hey, someone up there let me in please? I'm lost!" she shouted, hoping it would distract those pirates from harming the girl..

Here's hoping I'm not too late to join!

Name: Brian
Alias: None
Gender: Male
Age: 19
From: Mossdeep
Occupation: Pirate Hunter
Rank: Mage
Pokemon: Gardevoir, Grumpig, Xatu, Kadabra, Hypno, Espeon
Appearence: Long brown hair, dark brown eyes, pale complexion, wears black almost exclusively.
Purpose: Hunting pirates of any caliber.
Personality: He's not too open with others, and avoids human contact when possible. He doesn't care for the pirates he manages to catch, and will do absolutely anything to bring them in, regardless of cost.
Small Biography: He keeps his past mainly to himself, but it's rumored that his original home was completely annihalated by a fearsome pirate crew. According to that rumor, he hunts pirates in order to find the crew that destroyed his former life.

-----------------------------

Looking out across the vast sea, a young man scanned the horizon for any signs of ships. He was watching for a pirate flag to sail into viewing distance, so that he could bring the crew to his own brand of justice, before turning them in and collecting his reward.

He was called Brian, the Pirate Hunter. He rarely failed to catch a target, and never forgot those who did manage to slip away. His name was slowly becoming known to the world, yet he was still virtually unknown. On a small ship, barely large enough for him and his Pokemon alone, he sailed the seas at will, hammering into the pirates brave enough to call the waters their own.

He had come to this area following a stream of rumors of increases in pirate activity. Now that he was here, he intended to drag all of the sea thieves down to the depths.

Brushing his hair out of his eyes, Brian performed another sweep across the horizon. There, in the distance, was certainly a ship, but he couldn't tell if it was a pirate ship or not. On a mental whim, he lowered the sail to intercept the ship, see what type of crew it contained, and possibly launch an assault.

IC: "Hmmmm........ what chemicals could combine a Dragonite and a Tyranitar?" I mumbled. As I sat hunched over my work table my pokemon were playing. There happy cries could be heard thoughout the ocean. Unfortunatly, thats what irrateted me the most.

"Blast it! Will you be quiet! We dont want other pirates invading!" I yelled. ChanLeeBra wasnt ready to stop playing so he walked up to me.

"O hohoho so you want to challenge me?" I asked. ChanLeeBra made and sharp squeak which meant he was ready.

"Hoho so we shall start," I laughed. ChanLeeBra started by making a swift quick at my side that I blocked with my hand and then attempted to parry and go a swift kick to Lee's exposed side. As I raised my leg, Lee did a sweep kick to knock me off my feet. I rolled away from his crushing comet strike punch that shattered a few planks from the ship. I jumped to my feet and started punching at his sides, body and head. Lee blocked my side shots and when I faked for the head I was able to get him in the stomach. He raised up to his feet again and continued battleing. Lee was now angry and started hitting me with a flurry of kicks that I was unable to dodge or block. In the end I fell.

Point of View: Lee Alder

The girl looked up at the young pirate, afraid.

"Now, girl..." Lee began, but was soon interupted by two different shouts. His head swam...he hated being talked to by two people at the same time. One, it seemed, was talkinga about some rouge Charmander that was flying. Wait...that wasn't right...a Charmander couldn't fly. He turned to the girl and asked:

"What are they saying?"

She looked at him in shock, wondering why he couldn't understand them.

"Someone's asking for help down there...and they're trying to catch a Charizard up there," she answered softly, pointing up to the sky.

Lee nodded, thanking the girl. He was bad at multi-tasking, or hearing two people talk at once, and them yelling didn't make anything any better. He leaned over the ship to see two people floating on small boats. One was calling up to him. This is odd..., he thought. Too many things were happening today.

Pushing the thought outside, he grabbed the rope. He knew he was doing more harm than good by bringing the two people onto the ship, but he was a pirate, and he had to take as many captives as possible.

Soon enough, the two people were on the deck of the ship.

"Who are you?" Lee asked.

((As Jenna Louiza))

"Hey, are you guys part of this ship? Can I come in and stay with you guys? I've gotten lost here in the waters." I looked back to see Joanna nowhere to be seen, hesitated, and spoke again. "Yes, that's all I'll say right now. May I come in and seek shelter?"

((As Joanna Kaine))

It didn't matter for me. I just wanted to do something, and if Jenna gave me a house to live in, than I shall take it usefully. I knew Jenna couldn't see me anymore, and there was no chance of finding her anytime soon unless she turned back. As I rowed back to the dock, there was a crowd gathered. As they saw me, they crowded the area so I couldn't get out.

"Lady Josephine, you musen't go back there again! Didn't Mistress Aliya inform you of the pirate's curse? Any bypassing pirate ship you run into will take you for a prisoner and harm you!" One lady put her hand on my shoulder and said.

"Yes, whatever. I'm sure it'll be okay for her. Meanwhile, can someone please let me out? You don't want to have to force me back out there again do you?" I said, seemingly uninterested....

Adaia stared around at the pirates around her, unsure of what to do. She clutched Myrr a little tighter and walked backwards until she was at the edge of the ship. She woouldn't give Myrr up for anything. Then she glanced downwards and her pounding heart calmed as she saw the sabre. She didn't know why but now that she remembered that she had a weapon, she felt more confident. She dropped Myrr to the ground and drew the sabre, ready to fight if need be.

As Brian drew closer, he saw it was, indeed, a pirate ship. The familiar anger boiled in his blood, and he was ready to attack. No one had seen him yet - they were obviously distracted - so he managed to come up next to the ship with ease. With a look to his Pokemon to tell them to be cautious, Brian tossed a hooked rope onto the railing of the deck, and started climbing up it with expert ease. Any uncertainty he might have had was dispelled by the feel of two daggers at his side, and the knowledge of his powers and those of his Pokemon. He was certain he could take on anybody on this ship with ease - overconfident would probably be the best word to describe how he felt.

OOC:Hawk of the North, whoes ship are you raiding?

IC:"Fire the cannons, you ediots!" I pointed the the ship again, putting my favorite angered expression to intimidate the weakling pirates on the ship.
"Yes cap'n! We are trying!" one of the sailors loaded the cannons.
"FIRE THE CANNONS!" I yelled, more agry than before. "Capt'n...." "What?" "The cannons aren't working!" I swung down from the mast, aware of the fact that the ship was corrupt. I shoved myself through and looked at the sailor who replied to me before. "Not working in what way?" I asked. "It won't fire." "Any cannon that's not working can't fire, ediot!" I kicked the cannon. And than the sailor lighted it.
BANG! "Missed!" The sailor shouted. The other sailors appeared to want to retry. "STOP!" I yelled again, this time my throat was acheing. The pirates stopped obediently. "Stop. No more fireing. We have their attention. That is all we need." "For what?" "There are many things that might happen. If it is a ship, sink it and take treasure. If it is a pirate ship, wait patiently. If it fires, fire back. If it approaches, we shall go over to it in a dinghy, most of us, and make deals, and ambush. If it stays, we will raid it. Did I miss any options?" "None that we can think of, capt'n." "That is a bad thing. This crew can't think of anything." I laughed and leaned against the mast, waitingto see what would happen.

OoC: Erm, I'm raiding the first ship... whatever it be called. As in, not yours, no worries there. Sorry, I forgot there were two.

I leaned there on the mast for five boring minutes, and decided to see what I had loaded in my deep pockets. As I looked inside, I found a huge jewel, a dagger, a gun, and a golden, diamond studded key on a silver necklace chain. I looked plainly down at the key.
"Some pretty thing there." My good 'friend', Heartless Heyver, or so fearful people called him, said. "Do you know what this is?" I choked, even though tears could run down my face, my anger fought them back. "What?" Heartless stared at me seriously. "Nothing." "No, tell me." Heartless had grabbed my cloak before I could retreat to my office. "It...really, it's nothing." "Oh I know. It's that thing that the old captain gave you, before he died...before you killed him. Before you became captain. Before you made me promise not to mention it again. Face it, Captain Swift, you're that killer now. That key has all the blood in your family. You're the pirate, your the mistake." "WHAT?" I turned, after bearing the first words, I could not stand what my friend had just said. Everyone on the ship turned around. Silent. "What...did..you...say..." I gasped. "Nothing." "You're one of them, aren't you? You saw it. That night. The night when they...they..." Before I could finish, Heartless made a quick blow in my arm and escaped overboard.
OOC:Um, if it is not too late, I'm posting a second character.

(Heartless)
I began swimming as fast as I could away from the ship, I could hear Swift's yells, "KILL HIM!" as I avoided the cannon shots. I was pleased for myself as I swam towards the other ship. "WHO CARES IF I BETRAY MY PLANS OF THE ATTACK, KILL HIM!" I heard Swift yell again. The ship seemed pretty big. "All I need is a plan to be accepted." I said to myself. Then it hit me like a cannonshot. I drew my knife, if I had not hit Swift with it, I could use something better. I thought as I fastened a rope to it. Time for I'm innocent game. I know what to do. Persuade this ship to simply attack. I climbed the boat and yelled, "Hello, pirates!"

"Congrats on another win," I said slowly getting up spitting out blood. Chartoise flew to my side and put me on my bed to rest.

"Gnight boys," I yawned slinking off to sleep. The two pokemon looked at each other a nodded. ChanLeeBra watched for eniemes from the mast while Chartoise watched from the air. They knew they must protect their friend and master.

The Next Morning

I rose from my sleep and called out to my pokemon. They yelled out cheerfully as they came back to the ground.

"Alright boys, take a nice nap," I said putting them in their balls.

"Now to get back to my research," I mumbled. I sat at my table creating many concoctions and mumbling things to myself. I was on the verge of creating a NidoFamily, the fusion of Nido King and Queen. I was so excited until I saw a fight sight of a Charzard and ship in the distance.

"It looks like somethings going on," a smirk rose upon my face, "and I shall'nt miss it." I traveled towards the sight to investigate.

"****, I yelled out,"I didnt realize it would take hours to get there! Theres no wind, thats why." An idea suddenly sparked in my head. I took out Chartoise.

"Blow the ship towards theirs Chars," I said. He nodded with a look of concern on his face. He raised his great wings and flapped them rising a tornado while propelling me. In order to keep the tornado down, he used his pumps on his shoulders to beat down the water.

"Heh," I laughed,"only a few more minutes now." I was rapidly going towards the ship in the distance.....

Scratch veered backwards, growling at the other pokemon.

"Watch it!" She warned it, steading her flight in a hard thermal that sent her shooting upwards.
"You have no Idea what you're dealing with...."
She hovered, waiting for the perfect oppertunity to attack.

IC:

POV: Lee Alder

Lee Alder looked at Jenna Louiz.

"Ma'am, I think you're better off in lost in the sea. Now, you've got to work to earn your shelter here," Lee said. Yes, better keep undercover,, he thought. They might have money.

"HOLY MEW! TWO SHIPS ARE COMING STRAIGHT AT US!"

Lee looked up to see Hawkeye in the Pidgey's Nest screaming like there was no tomorrow. And sure enough, when Lee looked to the ocean, two ships were coming in opposite directions.

Lee ran to the steering wheel, and took command. The two ships were now on each side of the canons. Everyone was already in position.

"Sir," a young sailor said, as he ran up to Lee. "We have already released the first batch. We're ready to fire at your command."

Yes, Lee thought. Their secret weapon was out. The other two ships would be sunk in a matter of seconds. Their water Pokemon would go underwater, unnoticed, and punch wholes in the ships. The rest would be easy. [/i]

"Fire!"

The sound of the canons was heard, and then the fight began.

POV: Charizard

Meanwhile, the Charizard in the air was having a rough time. Scratch really knew what she was doing, and the crew below had forgot all about her.

The Charizard threw a flame at her, but she dogded it quickly and then sent her own fire attack at him. He was hit and fell a couple of feet. Flapping his wings powerfully, he flew towards her with a Wing Attack.

Scratch weaved left, but was nicked on her wing. Roaring, she veered back and spread her wings open, as if to taunt him. She hit another Sea-Thermal, Flew upwards at an incredable speed, then dive-bombed the other chaizard, covering herself with a flame-weel all the time.

"Heh so theyre firing cannons..." I laughed, "ChanLeeBra go!" ChanLeeBra jumped into action kicking the cannonballs into the sea.

"Keep it up!" I yelled. Suddenly, the boat started to sink.

"What is going on!" I yelled. Unaware of what was going on a cannon whizzed by Lee and slammed into the boat splinters fling.

"Ack! Nooooooo! Chartoise, come here!" I yelled out. Me and Lee climbing onto his back we flew off the boat.

"My..... expirements.....gone DESTROYED!" I yelled going into a fit of rage. I jumped off Char's back and landed on the ship.

"YOU DESTROYED MY RESEARCH! YEARS OF RESEARCH AND YOU WILL PAY!" I yelled. I looked in the face of a young man who was at the wheel. While I looked two sailors tryed sneaking up at my back to take me down. When one tried to grab me a took their arm and threw them over my shoulder knocking him against several sailors.

"WHo are you?" the young man asked.

"I.....am Martain....... and you are going down...." I said, "O.... and look up." When Lee looked up he saw ChanLeeBra jumping down and grabbing the young mans arms. I then ran up to him grabbing a sword from one of the sailors and putting to the mans throat.

"You now see my research you punks," I said, " one sudden move the young man gets a slit throat." Everyone watched in horror wondering what this mad man would do next.

Adaia stayed at her spot at the side of the ship, her eyes flickering around. Everyone seemed to have fogotton her. Quickly she slid the sabre back to its place and turned, clucking her tongue to Myrr. The vaporeon jumped up onto the rail and then let out a warning cry. Almost immediately, Adaia felt someone grab her around the neck and hold her in a headlock (i think that's it). She cried out in frustration and kicked and hit at whoever was holding her.

OOC: open invitation.

POV: Lee Alder

Lee's heart was beating fast for a moment, the sharp edge of the sword near his own flesh.

"Men," Lee said calmly, "Just walk away. We don't know what this guy can do. As for you, sir, I don't highly recommend holding that so close to my throat. Someone might get mad.

Dew, Lee's Wingull, dove down from the sky. The mad man looked up as the bird gave a Supersonic cry. The sound that was heard was earsplitting.

POV: Captain Scruffy

The girl's blow hit the Captain square in the face.

"You ain't gettin away, girlie!" he screamed out.

Grabbing her hand with his powerful grip, he lead her to one of the cabins. He threw her in, locking the door quickly.

"It's for your own good," Scruffy said. "'Case you haven't noticed, war's goin on out there. Keep her safe," he added to the pirate who always guarded his room. "And do not let her out...unless we're sinking, that is."

He walked back outside, where, although he had no idea, his firstmate was in danger.

(Captain Swift)
My eyes burned in fury as I nudged the dagger out of my arm. Curse that Heartles..nine years, and I have only killed one of them, and he, of the killers, is next. I almost chuckled when I pictured my last attack on land, how frightened people were, how they ran, how they stumbled. "Um, captain..." "What?" I furiously glared at the sailor as I awoke from my daydream. "We're sinking.." "Fire the cannons!" I got out my pokeball and yelled, "Go, Sharpedo!" Sharpedo obediently flopped overboard. "Sharpedo, do us some spying." I ripped some old cloth and put it over the deep wound, and then forgot it existed under the cloak. Sharpedo surfaced, "How bad is it?" Sharpedo flopped his fins out wide, usually meaning big. "Well... this means a raid. Men, sail away as fast as you can, while I make a deal.." I jumped into the dinghy and motioned for one pirate to come along with me, our spy. A woman in boots with a mini skirt and a purple shirt came out of the ship. One other sailor followed. "Well, Fearless, I have not seen you around the ship." The sailor gazingly followed after Fearless, but as she did to many, she ignored him. "Row." I chuckled as the sailor thoughtlessly gazed at her. "Uh...urmm...yes sir."
