    Someone told me all I know how to write about is love and the lack thereof, so...

    The Mighty Man of Fire

    He comes in the storm;
    unafraid, unashamed.
    He has many forms;
    Of men he's lethally maimed.

    He lives in the desert;
    with no water to drink.
    He has no morals or merit;
    But he appears in a blink.

    He's the master of shadows;
    The lord of things bad;
    Pain he endows;
    All across the land.

    Mothers warn their children;
    Of the Mighty Man of Fire.
    He's killed so many men;
    His thirst for blood is dire.

    So here's a warning, foolish child;
    Of the bloodlust of Him;
    If you venture into the wild;
    Expect to be killed upon his whim.

    Very (and I mean very) great job!
    It's true that a huge majority of modern poetry is all about love and romance.
    .....Not that there is anything wrong with it, of course.

    Thanks ^.^ I'll admit, I was concerned that this would be a major mistake, stepping out of my comfort zone in writing, which is usually emotions.
