Hello you wonderful people! I'm Massimo (though calling me moments has so many more pun opportunities), I'm 20 and live in Australia. I've been at PokeCommunity somewhere between 5 and 6 years pretty much lurking in Graphics and Photography / Art and Design.

My passion is film, whether it's watching, writing about or producing and a job in the industry is the dream. I like most types of films, but I'm admittedly a gigantic Disney nerd, so yeah. Some of my favourites are (in no particular order): Lion King, Inception, Pulp Fiction, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mulan, Hercules, Psycho, Lost in Translation.

Besides that, I'm a massive music person. If you name a genre, chances are I've heard bits and bobs. I appreciate/will listen to any kind of music, though I tend to go through phases of what I listen to more (currently it's leaning more towards post-rock, ambient, shoegaze and a bit of rap). Some of my favourite bands/artists at the moment are: M83, Daft Punk, Andrew Huang, Flume, Explosions in the Sky and a poop-tonne more! Also I can sing and beatbox which you probably didn't know, but I want to build up the confidence and make some music at some stage! :D

Aaaaand, I'm an occasional YouTuber. So yeah! I guess I'll leave it there so you guys have some wiggle room to pick apart my life with questions. :D

Hiya! Massimo looks Italian to me.

    Anyways, did you cry when
    Spoiler:
    died?

    'Tis Italian!

    Every single time, man. D':

Where abouts in Australia do you live?
    The wonderful city of Melbourne!

    Julia Gillard or Tony Abbot?
I don't really follow politics too much, but purely because Tony Abbot comes across as the single largest a-hole in Australia, Julia Gillard. Then again, it seems like the lesser of two evils...

    Why do we never talk?
Probably because I don't spend enough time here. If you point words my direction, I'll pretty much always point some back! ;D

What have been the best and worse changes PC has gone through since you joined?
Because I've been here a while, I can't really recall any changes... Uh, I quite like the new naming/reorganising of most the forums. I quite like this Member Interaction forum. At first I loved the change to green usernames, but I don't feel so strongly anymore. I don't hate it, but I just don't really care, I guess that's fairly normal though.

    What's your favorite DreamWorks film?

    What candies do you like?

Your name is cool. That's not a question, of course haha.

    What's your favorite DreamWorks film?
    omg so many
Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon.
Shrek has crazy nostalgia which is always the bomb, Jack Black is just generally a funny dude, and How to Train Your Dragon needs to be watched again/bought, but I remember it being so enjoyable at the time! :D

    What candies do you like?
Oh lordy, I should've mentioned that I think I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. I adore Wonka Nerds too much to be healthy, Fruit Tingles, Skittles, Crispy M&Ms.

Your name is cool. That's not a question, of course haha.
We could make it a question. Could, but we won't... Thank you! <3

What's been your closest encounter with wildlife in austrailijah?

Also seeing dreemwurks mentioned above which (between that and Pixar) do you think is better, and what makes the better one better?asdf

Have you ever heard of wrock (wizard rock)? trock (time lord rock)?
Of course I have! I don't listen to it a whole bunch, mainly because I haven't started watching Dr Who yet, so I won't understand all the references in trock. As for wrock, I just haven't gotten around to it I guess. Definitely heard of, and listened to bits and bobs of both, but yeah! :D

If you could go back to the past and change anything, anything at all, not just stuff about yourself but also stuff about everything else, what would it be and why?
Excellent question. I had a bicycle accident a number of years ago, and I can't remember what I was like before then (not because I hit my head or anything, just was a while ago), but since then, I've definitely changed heaps as a person, way more shy, more fears all that jazz. I probably wouldn't even actually change that, but it'd be interesting to see. I don't know. I don't want to change things, not because I don't regret anything, but the sense that I've had a fairly comfortable life, what if I changed it (thinking things would improve) and they got worse. Yeah, it's a noodle scratcher...

What's been your closest encounter with wildlife in austrailijah?
Nothing at all exciting. By far the funniest: I was on school camp and the teachers were like, 'watch out for leeches.' So we're walking, and I look at my arm and there's this leech on me, so I freak out and flick it, and it goes sailing through the air and lands on the teacher. I was laughing/too chicken to tell them, so this teacher had a leech on her for ages. xD

Also seeing dreemwurks mentioned above which (between that and Pixar) do you think is better, and what makes the better one better?asdf
I think Pixar is better, but not necessarily in terms of the animation or anything. I just feel like they have more consistently enjoyable stories. Movies like Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, WALL.E, Brave, UP; all such fantastic films. I think Dreamworks has great films too, but they just don't have the same feel/impact as the Pixar ones have.

Hi Massimo~ So you like movies and are Australian? Doooo you fancy Hugh Jackman?
of course you do, everyone should

Is there another actor/actress that you really admire?

If memory serves you left shortly after being modded because you didn't feel like you had much spark left in PC. Yet, you're back! So what's changed? Why do you think you lost interest in the first place?

    Also, why "moments."?

Hugh Jackman is a wonderful human being and deserves a firm pat on the back.

As a person who is ridiculously difficult to impress, there are a few gems who stand out from the rest. Firstly, Jim Carrey. Apparently I have so many mannerisms which remind people of him (which is so amazing to be on the end of), though it's not all too surprising being one of my favourites actors growing up, and the sheer number of times I watched his movies. Honourable mentions go to Benedict Cumberbatch, Alan Rickman, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Hugo Weaving (there are others, they are just ones I liked from things I've watched recently).

You may or may not have noticed, but I'm 'back', but pretty much have not posted in the Art forums. Part of the reason I left was my own frustration in comparing PC to the other graphics forums I frequent, and when I got nowhere near the level of constructive criticism or help that I was hoping for, I was disappointed. It was an unfair comparison to make because PC is by no means a graphics/art forum. I'm back for the people and the community, and I probably won't be posting my own art in the Art/Design forum for a while. I might comment on other peoples stuff, but I have no intention of expecting people to comment on mine.

    Also, why "moments."?
My name's Massimo, the MO at the end has been the stem for a whole range of nicknames. One of my friends at the time called me moments, which I thought was quite frankly the bomb.

I like all of those actors too :D

Your art is really great, I've always admired your tags. How did you become interested in digital art? Are there other kinds of art that you fancy? Like photography, drawing etc.

I can't really remember, it was eons ago... Anyways, I had done Photoshopping and stuff in school, and had all the programs and then seeing tags here at PC made me want to do them, basically because I thought I could be as good as the ones I saw. I was fairly wrong and took me a while to pick up a decent groove... I like all kinds of art, the ones I would consider actually doing would be photography, vectoring/illustration and drawing/sketching. Photography I intend to start soon (bought a sweet lens for my camera) and drawing I meant to start at the beginning of this year, but I just got swamped with other stuff, so that's on hold for the time being. Also, writing counts as art, and I want to write way more than I do (which is pretty slim at the moment).
