Palkia is fine as a mixed sweeper, but you needed at least one dedicated to special-offensive. Having something like mewtwo that can make really big holes is very important, more so in ubers than anywhere else with the gargantuan walls like Giratina lurking around.

Official server on Shoddy does not ban arceus, Wobby, and Chompy becasue they no all pokemon are fair. If you don't like the god of pokemon, may he get a Zap Plate and Thunder you out. Let me say it again. THOSE WHO BAN ARCEUS ARE THOSE WHO WANT TO PLAY WITHOUT LOSING THEIR PRECIOUS POKEMON. ARCEUS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL TO PLAY WITH. Arceus's legality is debatable. Over shoddy, everything has access to perfect IVs so everything is fair. However in wifi you will find about 98% of people will refuse to play with arceus- Myself included- because if you can hack the event you can really just hack the lot. However if this is a shoddy team (Which isnt specified anywhere btw) then he perfectly viable.

Something I've just noticed on arceus- Get rid of steel-type judgement. Ubers is all about coverage, of which steel offers none. Thunder offers the traditional bolt-beam combo, which hits pretty much everything for neutral.

Since I just but Judgment in there for a 4th move, and Arceus's main purpose here is o counter DD Quaza, I'll replace it with T-bolt.

Well once I get wifi installed, I know I'll be playing with arceus, I don't quite know what people have against him. He only has base 120 stats, not like base 150 in w/e stat that a lot of uber pokemon have. Tbh, almost all Lugia and Ho-oh have been hacked by getting the navel rock event. Even a good quantity of Mew have been hacked by getting the Faraway Island event. In fact, a lot of ubers played are hacked using the re-battle hack. So I don't see why Arceus is banned =/.

Even a good quantity of Mew have been hacked by getting the Faraway Island event. In fact, a lot of ubers played are hacked using the re-battle hack. So I don't see why Arceus is banned =/.

One a poke like arceus this is a portential nightmare, since arceus can make good use of all of its stats. Saying "Other pokes can be hacked" is not really a valid arguament since this is a poke that had to be hacked.

This is pretty much false, besides for arceus, who is cheap in wi-fi, but great in Shoddy usage. A lot of the ubers can be easily captured through events(Mew, Deoxys, Darkrai), get traded, or caught(Lugia, Mewtwo, Ho-oH, Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina). Arceus should be banned on wi-fi only because u have to hack to get it, and it can be used to fill any hole in a team.

I really think we need to make a sub-forum or sticky about "Should a certain Pokemon be banned/ moved up a tier/ demoted a tier?" That way, we don;t have all these discussions coming into threads in the movesets. I know that arceus is being argued here, and aqui made a thread about chompy.

Well, what I said isn't really false. You almost have to hack for Lugia and Ho-oh through Navel Rock, though it isn't always the case (you could have an event one, or the XD or MATTLE one.) The majority of players either got their ubers in a trade, or hacked for the event. I know there are legit ones, I'm just saying the majority of them ARE hacked. Which I think it doesn't really make a difference, as long as you didn't hack in illegal moves or max IVs or anything of the sort.
