See, it really depends on how you read this answer.

I can have one of two answers:

Graphics. I'm don't say you need "OMG AWESOM GRACPICSI =D +D=D" as I find the FRLGRSE graphics fine. However, I find very little else fine. In fact, if the tiles are different, I'll very likely dislike them.

Scripting. Yeah, this is probably the most important tbh. Who cares if you don't have a whizzbang storyline, who cares if it's "just the Nintendo story"? That works. Trying to go one under magical here doesn't.
