    Alright childrens, this is how it works.

    We're going to find out by majority vote who the most useless Pokemon of all is. I'm going to be conducting a poll in another thread once this one is finished. Basically, in this thread, you can list as many Pokemon as you want that you think are the most useless in battle in the games. I will then tally up how many votes each of the nominated Pokemon got. The ten Pokemon with the most votes will be in the poll, which I will conduct in a weeks time.

    Here's my nominations:

    Magikarp
    Utterly useless. Can only learn 4 moves althogether. Can't learn TMs, gives out disgraceful experience, and has grown increasingly annoying ever since Game Freak decided that there must be one Fisherman (trainer) in every game who has 6 of them.

    Ditto
    If Pokemon actually existed, this would be the coolest thing in the world. And if Pokemon battled like they do in the Anime, I'd have one on my team, without a doubt. The problem with Ditto is that any respectable Pokemon could wipe it clean with one attack, not even giving it enough time to use transform. Therefore, I nominate Dittto also.

    Even though I've voted them, first gen still wouldn't be the same without them.

    Alright, get nominating. You can choose any pokemon from any generation you like. Please give at least a short reason. They don't have to be as long as mine/they can be longer if you wish.

    Luvdisc. Pitiful stats all-around and only good for swiping a heart scale to relearn old attacks. >_>

    Hey, if it weren't for Ditto, pokémon breeding would be a LOT harder!

    Therefore, I nominate:

    Farfetch'd

    You know you have accomplished something when you've gotten as low as Farfetch'd has. It's stats are so low it's pitiful, it's ability is next to useless, heck, it might as well not even have an ability, and it's signature item, the stick, is not much help either. Also, Farfetch'd is viewed by most humans as a foodstuff, which is why there aren't very many of them. Ya hear that, you shouldn't play with your food!

    (We still love Farfetch'd, though, even if he does fail [at life].)

    My vote goes for Mewtwo Caterpie. Unlike its partner in crime Weedle, it can't even poison.

    Would've said Bidoof, but it's so useful as an HM slave.

    Zubat, you always encounter them and they are useless, all round low stats and that annoying move: LEECH LIFE which does nothing, yes zubat is pathetic :(

    Caterpie can evolve into Butterfree so I think she is useful :)

    Zubat sux that's right but it can be used in battle :)

    No pokemon is useless. Magikarp and Feebas evolve into Gyrados and Milotic, Zubat into Crobat, and Caterpie and his clones evolve into pokemon that are very useful early on. Ditto is invaluable for breeding, Luvdisc give out Heart Scales, Bidoof's a HM slave, Farfetch'd are too cool to live, and even male combee produce Honey. The day GameFreak introduce a useless pokemon, please shoot me.

    I think the OP was talking about the individual Pokemon with out evolving.
     
    I'm seconding Luvdisc. The most common and uninteresting type in the game, horrible stats in everything except speed... and then they give it Swift Swim! I swear it was designed solely to infuriate trainers. At least Magikarp and Feebas get awesome evolutions!
