The mysterious "free space" in the bag

Has anyone else noticed the free space in the bag? If you check in the demo, then you need to check the bag out. The bag consist of seven parts and one of them is unknown. It shows a symbol like a heart and it's called free space. Is anyone else that wants to know what it would be used for?

My first thought it would be used for Mega stones?

Not really mysterious.

In Black 2 and White 2, a Free Space section was added to the Bag, and the icon takes on the appearance of a smaller Bag. Players can select items they use most and add them to Free Space for easy access. Manual sorting cannot be performed in this section, and items are always placed in alphabetical order. However, the player can filter the kind of items they want to see with the sorting button.

Probably just adding this back in. That's good, I really liked it and have no clue why it was removed - as with so many other features that disappeared in Gen 6.

So Free Space has came back for the first time since B2/W2? That is actually great, because I used that feature quite a bit in B2/W2 and with it returning (like I once wished for) I feel this game will be that more enjoyable for me.

There's no reason for it to work differently than how it did in B2W2 as it served its function well back then.

I'm definitely glad it's back because I found it very useful even back then. I wonder if they'll ever bring back gen 5's "Registered Menu," too. I think that would be pretty neat as well, although it's unlikely.
