I actually started to think he might be the Fourth's son but then it wouldn't make sense for everyone to still hate him if he was.

I think thatsone of the reasons they hate him. Not only because of Kyuubi but also because he's the reason his dads dead. But thats only a theory.

They can't hate him because of Kyuubi. Remember the third said that the kids don't know that hes the Kyuubi.

The third said that the grown-ups hate him because he IS the Kyuubi. So he IS really the one that killed his *ahem* so called father and so on. That hatred passed down from the grown-ups to the kids so thats the reason why.

i am not sure where everyone is like the manga and anime but i dont like the naruto and hinita pairing i say sakura is better for him

I use to like that pairing too but I've found that not only does sakura have no affection for naruto in that way but also her personality fits someone like Lee or Sasuke

Thats not excatly true. If you actually read the manga you would see that when Naruto gets back from his training with Jiraiya Sakura notices how much he matured and..well um, likes him better now I guess XD
