Duuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Ninja moles are totally an awesome idea. I don't know why, but I really like it. It's strange, unique and it would totally work.

And about the burrowing dogs, I don't get it either. When he uses it on Zabuza it wasn't even the ground, it was...stone. O_o You think they'd have a giant lump on their head after blasting through that. XD

=P Never saw a stingray. That'd be awesome. Giant stinger on it's tail, floating in mid-air, you could ride it and stuff. It'd be awesome!

Back at the village, Negaimuri Kokoro was waiting to give them a task. He looked quite surprised giving the team a sense of pride. "I had just been informed that you two and Yuki had taken care of two rogue ninja trying to kidnap one of Kinzoku clan's members, is this true? Or did one of you just run around making up stories?" He said it in a low calm voice, his brown hair hidden mostly underneath his headband and mask. He eyes and all of his face was visible, except for his chin which was covered by part of the mask.
"Well I just threw one of my Yuudoku kunai at one of them. The other just ran away. Kobushi was tied up in a bag and Yuki here went and opened it up. I think our team did great considering we weren't ready for a battle, but you're the leader and I'll respect your opinion, sensei," Honaka said like she was a queen.
"That's good to hear that you were able to do that all on your own. Well what did Kasugi do? Did he do anything at all?" Kokoro asked wondering if Honaka's words of team were the right thing to say.
"Well…err…nothing really. But if he hadn't been there, Yuki wouldn't have been able to tell us what the rogues were saying," Honaka said quickly.
"Well then, what did the rogue ninjas say?" Kokoro asked looking as if it had no relevance to the situation at all.
"They said that…" Honaka's voice trailed off as she went to a mumble.
"What did they say? I couldn't understand you," Kokoro said sharply.
"They said that they should watch each other's backs for any ANBU forces," She said hastily, hoping that Kokoro-sensei wouldn't get angry at her. Kokoro's previous accusation was correct. It had no importance in what happened.
Honaka continued the story about the rest of the battle, and the saving of Kobushi. Kokoro was intrigued at how much the boy didn't want his abilities when they were great enough to prevent the kidnapping from occurring in the first place. The poor boy was only ten; most likely he hasn't mastered his Kekkai Genkai yet. It made Kokoro think of Kasugi and how he has yet to even learn about his own Kekkei Genkei, or curse, depending on how you look at it. Kokoro's urge to tell Kasugi that very moment about it was so strong, but he remembered what the Mizukage and Kasugi's father had told him. "Do not tell him until you believe he is ready to try and master it." Those words were trapped in his head for three years now.
"Well I have just picked up a mission for you two, wait, where's Koori Katsurou?" Kokoro question the group of Honaka, Kasugi, and the pygmy sea lion. Yuki gave a little turn of the head. She was looking behind Kokoro to see a plump, black haired boy running at full speed towards them. Although Katsurou was a little overweight, he was still pretty fast. As he reached the group he tripped over a pebble and landed flat on his face. He sprang up with a salute to Kokoro.
"Sir, reporting for duty, sir!" He yelled like soldier. He was puffing out his chest, which didn't seem to do much considering his gut hid most of it. He stared straight into Kokoro's eyes, hoping for some sympathy for being late, but no such sign ever came.
Kokoro continued, "As I said earlier, I've picked up a mission for you four, it's only C rank, but it seemed like a challenging task for you. We must venture to the Land of Rain, to Amegakure. I have been informed that not long ago, some rogue ninja had stolen some papers on the Mizukages and their specialty jutsus. It is up to us to stop those bandits from giving those papers to the head authority of Amegakure. According to the file I received on this mission, they had stolen it just yesterday, and to reach them in time we only have four days. So we prepare today, and then take off tomorrow. I feel that you all are ready to handle this mission in three days. Agreed?" Kokoro told the team.
They spent the entire day packing the essentials, such as food, clothes, and paper and such. Their bags were inspected by Kokoro many times to make sure that they had packed to most reasonable things. They team then headed off to the supply room of the Academy where they picked up shurikens, bomb tags, and other ninja equipment. Honaka had already packed her Yuudoku kunai. Always having these with her was the good thing about them. They were tiny enough to leave extra room for anything else she may have wanted to bring with her.
As the day drew on, the sun began to set. The squad was inspected again, and then they were let off for the rest of the night. Kokoro reminded them to get a good night's sleep. Kasugi and Yuki headed back down to the lake to watch the sun set over the orange and purple sky. The colors reminded him of Honaka. Her usual clothes were always those colors, even though they clashed, it made Kasugi think of her clashing personalities of an outgoing free spirit, and a quiet, on task student.
The orange light broke the quiet dew covered morning. The silhouette of the pine trees with the bright sun behind it looked like a tiny crowd in the horizon. Their tall figures looked as if they were staring back at Kasugi as he stared out his open window. He smiled as he knew this would be a fun day, traveling out into Amegakure to hunt down some important papers. He headed out right away to the meeting place in Kokoro's garden.
He was already waiting their, reading a copy of "Make out Paradise" that had been given to him by someone from the Hatake clan. "You've arrived. So, where are the others?" Kokoro asked being surprised Kasugi had been there before the others, the laggard that he is. Kokoro continued to read as Kasugi sat down, cross-legged, staring up at the now blue sky.
"Hello everyone," Honaka had appeared out of nowhere it seemed, her being so fast made her nearly invisible sometimes. "Sorry I'm late sensei, but I had to help my mom cook some breakfast. She's really busy today and she needed to hurry to the Academy to finish some work."
"That's fine," Kokoro had told Honaka, but then addressed someone else, "Where is Katsurou?" He stared down the small alleyway and saw a large round person sprinting as fast as he could down to where they stood. He approached them panting and trying to catch his breath.
"I'm…sorry…I…was…late…sensei," Katsurou finally managed to say in between breathing heavily. "I have no excuse, unless saying that my dog at my homework counts….Oh yeah, no homework….Sorry sensei."
Kokoro shook his head in a "no problem" fashion as he marked his page in the book and closed it. He placed it in his vest pocket and then said, "So are you three ready to travel to Amegakure? This is an important mission and I can't believe it's only ranked C. You three should manage fine though, I know that you can." He smiled at the three with a thin looking move of his mouth. Honaka also smiled widely, showing more enthusiasm than any of them.
"So let's get started!" Honaka yelled as she flung her rucksack over her shoulder. She darted down the alley and turned around at the end, waving her arms in the air. "C'mon you three, it's not like we have enough time to wait around and read a book about 'making out'," Honaka had shouted to them.
Kokoro, Kasugi, and Katsurou had slowly paced towards where Honaka was beginning to look angry. She waved her arms more frantically, hoping they'd move faster. They kept the same pace, knowing that they'd be on a full day journey to Amegakure.
