I'm thinking about doing this challenge, but i've got a question. Say one of our pokemon gets poisoned/paralyzed, could we still use it if we don't cure the illness?

No. Once it gets one of those ailments, it's dead.

HOWEVER THAT'S JUST AN OPTIONAL RULE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT!

Well, I don't really know what would happen. Just soft reset for it. (unless it kills one of your pokes while you're trying to catch it) And you always have two snorlaxes to try and catch! :D

I'm sad to say, I failed this challenge, Ivysaur(my brain) fainted in the battle with Gary on the S.S. Anne.

All right! Here's my first update!

- Created a female character, named her Aquila.
- Received a male Chimchar ( Bashful nature )
- Beat Logan ( Rival, named after my crush of three years, haha )
- Nicknamed Chimchar Scorch.
- Was shown how to catch Pokemon by Lucas.
- Beat Trainers on Route 202 and got Scorch to level 10.
- Gave Logan the Town Map
- Beat the two schoolkids in Trainers' School, and got Scorch to level 11
- Received the Poketch.
- Went North to Route 204 and beat the three trainers. Scorch is now level 12.
- Beat Trainers on Route 203 and Scorch evolved at level 14, and learned Mach Punch!
- Got to Oreburgh City and went to Oreburgh Mine to meet Roark.
- Annihilated Trainers in Gym with Mach Punch
- Beat Roark quite easily with a level 15 Scorch with Mach Punch! Scorch is now level 16!

So far, so good. Going to buy a new AR so I can hack in a Feebas.
