    Smogon Tier Challenge!

    you should start a Tier challenge and have this closed... So there isn't tons of Tiers on challenges :p

    I'll join later, finishing up some stuff, add me for Yellow, I'm using Pikachu which is either NFU or NU in that gen...
     
    Hey, just a little something, (I'm not participating due to lack of time), Skuntank is not available in Platinum (only in Diamond). This also applies to Murkrow and the Pearl exclusives.
    That means you'll have to trade for him as well.
     
    I'll be doing this on RUBY after I download the ROM.

    Will update when I start. All pokemon will be AM'ed in at low level and pre evolutions. SO Pretty much I'll catch them on the first route, then change it back after I get them. if that is fine.
     
    Yeah the ROM hacking tool.
    I'm not gonna bring in high level pokes, just ones that are around the level you would find in that area. Just because I don't know if you can actually trade on roms haha.

    EDIT: First Update.
    Started game and chose girl. Named her Schala.
    Chose Mudkip as a starter. Nicknamed it HM.
    Went and beat my "rival".
    Finally got my hands on some Pokeballs and after a bit of searching, found a Poochyena.
    Caught her, named her Hecate.
    Caught a Zigzagoon to use for HMs as well.
    Leveled up Hecate some and headed towards the first gym.
    After helping Wally catch a Pokemon, making it through the forest and saving a guy from Team Magma, made it to first gym.
    Managed to win a tough first gym battle. Critical hits and held Oran berries are nice.
    Saved Peeko and the goods from Magma.
    Hecate evolved.
    Headed to Dewford to deliver a letter and beat the second gym.

    Up next: Delivering the letter and lots of grinding. Using a pure Dark type as my only Pokemon could make the coming gym...difficult.

    Delivered the letter.
    Leveled Hecate up to level 22.
    Took a shot at the gym. I had to resort to an X defend and an X special to win, but I did it.
    Headed on to Slateport.
    Finally got to catch my next party member, a Minun. (Though I actually ran into a Pluse first...Minun took forever to find. I thought it was the other way around? >_>)
    Named him Electron.
    Kicked Team Magma out of the Museum.
    Beat my rival on the way to Mauville.
    Beat Wally IN Mauville.
    Caught Electron up to Hecate level-wise
    Preparing to take on the gym there.

    Got the running shoes...whew makes game much faster.
    Using a Rom I inserted all the unavailable pokemon in at around lvl 3-5.

    Ok, now I'm arrived in Celadon City with 5 Pokèmates, only Dewgong left.
    Got rid of Team Rocket and Erika, now going to catch Snorlax, then the Sea Routes!

    UPDATE

    Arrived in Cinnabar. Catched Seel, evolved into Dewgong (now training him) and also catched two of three Legendary Birds.

    Defeated Blaine and Giovanni in their respectives Gyms. Defeated all the Trainers, grinded a lot, passed through Victory Road and catched Moltres.

    Next task: Elite 4!

    Caught a Torkoal in the Fiery Path.
    Named him Kenai.

    Elite Four: too easy.

    Lorelei: Hitmonchan did all 1HKOs, only Lapras got 2HKO. Sky Uppercut FTW.
    Bruno: Ice Beam worked for Onix, then Fly did the rest.
    Agatha: Nightmare. Flareon did a great work, but he died against Arbok.
    Electrode completes the work with his AMAZING speed.
    Lance: Too easy. Electrode took Gyarados out with 1HKO Thunderbolt, then a Thunderbolt
    to Aerodactyl, and... Electrode dies. Dewgong did ALL the rest.
    Gary: A great battle. Dewgong took out Pidgeot, Rhydon, and Charizard, then
    he died to that darn Psychic. Alakazam killed all the team except Flareon, he killed
    Alakazam and Exeggutor before dying to Gyarados. Only Electrode left.
    2 Thunderbolts reduced Gyarados with 2-3 HPS and Paralyzing status, then Gary
    used Full Restore. Thunderbolts again, this time with more HPs.
    An Hydro Pump takes Electrode nearly out, so I used a Max Potion on Electrode
    and a Revive on Flareon. Then I used Explosion. I didn't want to do that, but
    that was the only way to win... Anyway, I'M THE CHAMPION! :D

    I've already completed the Sevii Island Quest, now I'm grinding with the remaining trainers, then I'll go to catch Mewtwo.
