I want a wasp pokemon. It could sting you to death, lol

Beedrill wasn't enough?

...Well, anyway, they SHOULD make two different branches,...or maybe they'll do Wurmple with a twist and make it evolve differently based on which version you have...and trading it partway-through would result in getting a different Pokemon, resulting in 4 different combinations and 4 different Pokemon in the Pokedex...

Since when hasn't Heracross been useful? -.- Heracross > you.

I'm a big fan of Bug type Pokémon and I really hope they'll come up with something more original than the Wurmple line in the R/S/E games. Beautifly just looked too much like Butterfree. <.<

No matter what the new Bug types are going to look like, I'm probaly going to train them. Even though most people say the bugs in the beggining of the game suck, they actually have a lot of potential. Dustox, for example, has a good Sp.Defense and decent Defense and HP with added Light Screen, Toxishuffling and Moonlight fun. Butterfree's good Speed stat, Sleep Powder and Compoundeyes trait will put many Pokémon to sleep before they can launch a single attack and Beedrill has the potential to wreck havoc on teams with Swords Dance, some physical moves and Salac Berry.

Ariados and Ledian aren't as useless as people say they are, either. Ariados can use Spiderweb against a weak opponent and Baton Pass the Spiderweb to another Baton Passer with Swords Dance or other stat boosting moves (Possibly Ledian if you have two bugs on the same team for some reason.).

Don't underestimate Bug types just because you think giving Butterfree Solarbeam and Hyper Beam (Or something as stupid as that.) is a good idea. -.-

Yeah, I have no problem with bug pokemon, its just how some of them look. I mean, what were they thinking with Volbeat and Illumise??! They look like rich women (Yes, both of them) who should be strolling down the street!!!

I want a firefly that looks like a firefly, but maybe little stylized. No curly antennae for me Imao!

Then I don't think you'll like the new Pokemon that's been revealed today:

It seems to be just like Volbeat and Illumise, with curly antennaes and all.

It looks more like a Ledyba, though, and I dont think it'll be the first bug pokemon.

Okay, so I've seen some stuff, and I think that the first bug will be a pre-evo of Volbeat/Illumise that evolves according to gender (male = volbeat, female = Illumse) This is would be much better than Wurple's PV evo, and would be better than moths and butterflys.
