Strikit - Awesome post, I loved the attract thing that both trainer and Milotic had going on for them. Poor Ethan and Maverick.

Congratulations, Ethan received Flare, again.
Congratulations, Maverick grew to lv. 21!

Selene and Tim were walking along the path, Dratini slithering along ahead of them. They had lapsed into a silence, but it wasn't horrible. Selene was sort of marveling in the fact that she had a Dratini, even though it was a snake. Once she had looked up the Pokemon on her Pokedex, Selene had officially decided that Dratini was definitely worth keeping around. According to her Pokedex, once Dratini was strong enough it would evolve into something completely un-snake-like anyway, so it didn't really matter. Selene could only hope that Dratini grew fast, because in all honesty (even though Dratini was probably the nicest Pokemon on her team) the snake scared Selene.

"Why're you so afraid of Dratini anyhow?" Tim questioned finally.

Selene glanced from the Dratini to Tim. "I just don't like snakes. I was playing outside once and an Arbok tried to eat me, and since then I've never liked them."

Tim blinked slowly. "An...Arbok tried to...eat you?" he said, looking rather disbelieving.

Selene rolled her eyes. "It sounds totally fake, I know. The thing is, it's true. Really, you could probably call one of my parents. My big brother..." Selene trailed off, growing a bit sad. Speaking of Sahib, she sorta missed him. "Well...he got his Quilava to fight the snake off, but only barely."

"Is he weak?"

Selene's face turned red. "No!" she snapped. "He's one of the strongest trainers I've ever met! A lot stronger than you, that's for sure!"

"Whoa, calm down girl. I was just askin', is all," Tim said, holding up his hands in a defensive gesture.

Selene's face turned pink, and she looked away. She was a bit embarrassed that she had totally just freaked out on Tim for practically no reason. "Sorry. I'm just a defensive person when it comes to my family, I guess," Selene grumbled. She kicked at the road a bit as they walked. Tim didn't say anything else, so Selene figured the subject had been dropped. Now, however, the silence was a bit more awkward than anything, something Selene internally cursed herself for. Sighing outwardly, Selene shoved her hands into the pockets of her jeans and slouched a bit, staring at the road as they walked.

The silence continued until Selene noticed that Dratini had somehow, once again, disappeared from sight. Her eyes went wide and she looked around frantically, finally hearing a loud squeal coming from a couple yards to the left. Selene groaned and ran over, cursing under her breath when she saw that a Graveler had Dratini held above its head, looking like it was about to snap Dratini in half. Selene grabbed Tanana's Pokeball without hesitation, deciding that it would be best for them to get this over with, lest Dratini get hurt.

"How do you manage to get yourself into these messes?" Selene groaned softly as she brought out Tanana. Dratini gave a little squeal again, and began to wriggle in Graveler's iron grasp. Tanana appeared just seconds later, rolling her eyes at the sight of Dratini (once again) being in a rather bad situation. "Tanana, use sucker punch on Graveler!" Selene ordered.

Tanana flew in at a quick speed, slamming a ghostly fist into Graveler's back. Graveler cried out angrily, dropping Dratini and glaring at Tanana, who was now floating by Selene's side. Selene smirked at the wild Pokemon, making it give something akin to a roar of rage. Moments later, the Graveler had snapped itself into a ball and was rolling at a rather quick pace towards where both trainer and Pokemon were located. Tim grabbed Selene out of the way and Tanana disappeared, causing the wild Pokemon to slam into one of the trees located just a few feet away. Selene let out a breath of relief.

Dratini cocked her head to the side curiously, and then began to slither towards the unmoving Graveler. Tanana rolled her eyes again, but made no move to stop her. Selene opened her mouth to say something, when suddenly Graveler got back up, glaring at Dratini with a rather scary amount of force. Dratini simply did something that looked rather close to a smile, said her own name lightly, and continued on towards danger. Haunter began to say something, and Selene ordered Dratini to stop it. Dratini turned her head and looked at Selene, but kept on going towards the Graveler. Selene groaned and smacked her forehead. The Graveler, however, didn't seem to mind that Dratini appeared to have an odd fetish for problems and danger.

"Graveler," it grunted. Selene's eyes widened and she looked at Tanana.

"Get Dratini out of there, now!" she ordered.

Tanana seemingly sighed. Then she disappeared, reappearing directly over Dratini moments later. The Pokemon latched onto Dratini's tail and attempted to drag it away, but it didn't exactly work. Dratini gave a squeal of complaint. Moments later, Graveler gave a sort of smirk and then curled into a ball again. Selene cursed and called for them to move, but Dratini seemed hell bent on getting herself hurt. Selene growled under her breath, trying to think of what to do as Graveler started rolling. There was a blinding burst of light then, and moments later a roar. Selene blinked slowly and watched as a purple monster slammed into Graveler, grabbing the large boulder and then throwing it to the side like it was just a rock. The Pokemon that had totally just saved Tanana and Dratini's butts roared to the sky with a cry of victory. Selene and Tim both stared at the Pokemon. It was a Nidoking.

"Jake."

"Yo." The boy came out from the bushes, twigs and leaves stuck in his hair. Selene blinked for a few moments.

"Where did you come from?" she questioned.

"Eh, wouldn't you like to know," Jake shot back. He seemed to be peeved again, but Selene didn't really get about what. "Nidoking, finish that..."

"No! This is my battle," Selene snapped. "So stay out of it, and don't help. I don't need it." She was getting all huffy and annoyed around him, though she wasn't sure why. For some reason, Jake just pissed her off. "Dratini, go to Graveler and use wrap! Tanana, you use hypnosis and then follow up with night shade!" Selene figured that (partially thanks to Nidoking, though she'd never admit it) Graveler was about done anyway.

Dratini slithered over to the Pokemon happily the whole way, and slowly wrapped around it. She squeezed it apparently as hard as she could, but soon squealed in complaint; it wasn't exactly doing a whole lot. Selene snorted and rolled her eyes, but there was a small smile on her face. Tanana seemed rather amused by this as well, but went ahead with the hypnosis attack anyway. Graveler grunted and its eyes began to close, and within moments the injured Pokemon was asleep. Selene heard Nidoking grunt in the background. She felt her face go a bit warm, but watched instead as Tanana used a night shade attack on Graveler. The Pokemon let out a shuddered snore.

"Time to finish it up," Selene said. "Dratini you're doing great, keep up with your wrap. Tanana, seal the deal with a sucker punch!"

It was over pretty quick after that order. Dratini squeezed hard again, looking a bit put off by the fact that Graveler was difficult to hurt. Selene sort of wondered if Dratini was even trying to have fun. She was sort of beginning to think that Dratini just liked to hurt things. In any case, Tanana went in with her sucker punch and sealed the deal. The attack slammed into Graveler right on his head, and moments later there was a harsh groan and Graveler fell over completely. Dratini carefully let go of the Pokemon and slithered back to Selene. Selene recalled Tanana, and was about to reprimand Dratini when Jake spoke up.

"So who's your friend?" He was glaring at Tim.

Selene looked at Tim, and then back at Jake. She sighed.

Fen - Great post, and Jake returns C:

Congratulations, Dratini grew to lv. 11 and learned Twister!
Congratulations, Tanana grew to lv. 29!

Sara looked about herself as she reached the Valor Lakefront. She had heard that this was a famous place for both tourist and trainers a like, but she didn't know if it was true or why that was. Now, looking at the lush forest and grass with no fences around, the girl could understand why people came. Sara grinned as she thought about all the training she could do in this area. After all, Angela was getting closer and closer to evolving, Merric needed some new moves as did Lee and she wanted to see just how much Tavi could do. Then, of course, there was Flare…

Sara sighed once more as she thought about the fire fox. She really hadn't been training her as much as she wanted to. It wasn't Flare's fault at all; it's just that Sara is hesitant to use the fox. More and more, Sara was starting to rethink her decision to take the Pokemon on. Sure it seemed like a really good idea at the time, and she did want a fire type, she now can't help but wonder if she should had just kindly told the boy no and continue on her way. Besides, Flare was just so far behind everyone…

Sara suddenly stopped when a young boy came up to her. The girl raised an eye brow when the boy explained that that he thought that one of her balls contained a Vulpix that was his. Now, it was safe to say that Sara was more then a little doubtful of what the boy said. Of course, even is she did believe him right away, there was no way that Sara was going to give Flare away for nothing.

However her opinion changed as she talked more to the boy and he showed her his Eevee. Despite how tomboy-like Sara always liked to act, she still had the heart of a girl and, there for, was susceptible to things that are cute. Since Eevees are easily one of the Cutest Pokemon ever to grace the face of the earth and this one was especially fluffy and with big eyes…it wasn't really all that hard for the boy to convince Flare to make the trade.

"Alright, I'll give Flare to ya," Sara said as she handed the boy the painted ball of the Vulpix and, in return, took the plain white ball of the female Eevee. "Though if I find that you treat her badly at all…I will personally hunt you down and make you pay."

Satisfied with her threat, Sara turned around and walked away with her new Pokemon on hand. The girl went a little bit off the beaten path near to a pond and sat her pack down. The girl took out her other 5 balls and threw them all up into the air. In a rapid succession of light, all five of her Pokemon appeared. Merric quickly went into the water, though made sure to keep close to his trainer. Angela floated over to her trainer and sat down, as much as she could, on Sara's shoulder. Lee and Tavi glared at one another with daggers but didn't get any closer to the other. In fact, they walked away. Destiny, who had been watching this whole thing, shuffled in the air nervously as she felt the hostile feelings and quickly flew over to her trainer.

"Lee, Tavi, you guys better like heck make sure that you don't get at each other throats or else I'll keep both of you in your balls for a long time, got it?" Sara said quickly, making the Blade and Cat Ferret Pokemon flinch, then added, "Okay, well, I didn't call all you guys out to threaten you. I call you all out because we have a new member!" She took out the ball and threw that out into the air, "Come out…Maerad!"

The ball opened up and, in a flash of light, the very cute Eevee appeared. The now named Maerad (My-rad) landed gracefully on the ground and looked up at her, mostly, larger comrades. Destiny cried out happily and flew over to the new member, nuzzling against her happily. Angela also floated down towards the Eevee and but her head against Maerad's. Merric bent his head lower to get a better look at the new Pokemon. Seeing as the little fox wasn't a threat, he raised his head once more and started to swim around a bit. Lee just nodded before jumping into a tree and scanning the area for any threats.

However, there was one member of the party that, though he didn't go near Maerad, he also couldn't take his eyes off of her. Tavi seemed to sit shock still as he gazed upon the very cute Eevee, as if the whole of his body had just shut down and turned to stone. He was finally able to gain some control over his body, Tavi shook his head and blushed. Though the Cat Ferret quickly turned around to hide the blush, Lee noticed it and gave a small smirk. The Blade Pokemon wondered at how he could use this to embarrasses or exploit his rival.

Once the introduction was over, Sara went over to a tree and sat down against it. The girl took in a deep breath then exhale as she looked up at the clouded sky. Her Pokemon were all doing their own thing, with Destiny and Angela showing Maerad the ropes while Tavi was inching towards the Eevee. Merric seemed to be taking a nap with his head resting on the side of the pond. Of course, Sara did not doubt that the dragon-like Pokemon would spring up if even the slightest hint of danger came onto them. The trainer looked over to where she last saw Lee, but was surprise to see that he wasn't in the tree.

Sara frowned with confusion as she wondered where her Gallade was when there was a kind of 'pop' sound beside her. The girl couldn't help but to scream when she heard the sudden sound and nearly jumped out of her skin. However, when she actually turned to see who/what it was, she discovered that it was only a grinning Lee.

"Dear Mew Lee! Don't you dare do that to me again!" Sara yelled at him.

The Blade Pokemon just chuckled and teleported to a branch above the girl, one leg hanging off the edge with his hands behind his helmet like head. Lee's comrades, who had watched the whole things since their trainer screamed, resumed what they were doing. Well, Merric and Tavi sent the Blade Pokemon an evil glare with Tavi's being especially evil. But over all, things went back to their peaceful state.

However, the scream did not go unnoticed by any of the near-by natives. Luckily they all had the good graces to make noises in the bushed to warn the trainer and her Pokemon in time. Lee quickly grabbed Sara and, making sure not to teleport like he normally would, dragged her over to the pond to the now awake Merric. Destiny, Angela, Maerad and Tavi also rushed over to their trainer. Destiny and Angela floated by Sara's shoulders while Tavi stood on his hind legs and made sure to stay near to Maerad.

The bushes rustled some more before four Pokemon appeared before the group. Two were Bibarel, one male and the other female, while there was also a Kricketune and a Houndour.

Sara grunted when she saw the group of Pokemon and quickly looked to her Pokemon, trying to figure out which one to use. But then, it dawned on the trainer that she didn't have to choose just four Pokemon. This was the wild, after all, there were no rules. Of course, if she wanted to catch one of these Pokemon it might be different but, since she didn't, it still didn't matter.

"Alright guys, we're going to have to work together for this," Sara said as she eyed the Pokemon. "Merric, use Icy Wind on everyone! Angela, Screech! Destiny, Shock Wave on a the male Bibarel! Lee, Magical Leaf on the female! Tavi, Slash on the Houndour! Maerad, Tackle on the Kricketune!"

All six of the Pokemon did as they were told. Merric took in an extra large intake of breath before letting out a breath of air so cold, it made flurries in the air, and blasted all of the Pokemon present. Of course, this attack really didn't do too much to most of the Pokemon, expect the Kricketune, but that wasn't the point. The point was that this attack lowered everyone's speed. Then Angela let out her famous screech which lowered all of the while Pokemon's defenses a lot.

Before any of the wild group could recover from the cold or the sound, the rest of Sara's Pokemon moved forward. Destiny gathered some electricity before releasing it in a wave, doing some serious damage to the male Bibarel. Lee gathered some leaves and launched them at the female Bibarel, also doing some damage. Tavi was more then quick to rush up to the Houndour and rake his giant claws on the dog. Maerad was a bit more hesitant but did run towards the Kricketune and hit it with a full body tackle. Since the Kricketune was the one most hurt by the Icy Wind attack, the extra Tackle was enough for it to faint.

However, the other three Pokemon weren't going down so easily. The male Bibarel launched a Water Gun attack at Maerad, which would had hit the Eevee if Tavi didn't rush in front of her just before the water hit. This enraged the Zangoose so much that he rushed at the male Bibarel and started to wail on him with his claws.

"Um...Tavi..." Sara said as she watched the Mongoose continue to hack and slash.

The female Bibarel and Houndour were shocked, but there was no way that they were going to back off now that these humans and Pokemon had invaded their territory. The female Bibarel curled up into a ball and rolled quite quickly to Destiny, slamming into the Jubliee Pokemon and making her cry out in pain. The Houndour launched an Ember attack at Tavi to get the angered Zangoose off of the now unconious male Bibarel.

"Quick, Lee use Confusion on the female Bibarel! Merric, use Water Pulse on the Houndour!" Sara ordered quickly.

Lee grunted and a psychic aura surrounded him. Soon this aura also surrounded the female Bibarel, making her stop spinning in mid air. The Gallade grinned slightly as he slammed the beaver into the tree, then the ground, then gave a burst of energy and knocked the Bibarel away, knocking it out. Merric let out a circular pulse of water which, when it landed near the Houndour, sent out a wave of water at the Houndour, making it faint.

Sara sighed in relief as the battle was over. The trainer then took out four of her balls and smiled a bit sadly as she looked at her party. "Sorry guys, but I don't want any more Pokemon coming out at us, so we have to get moving again." With that, the trainer returned Destiny, Merric, Lee and Tavi. Angela floated right over to her trainer's shoulder but Maerad tilted her head in confusion.

Sara just grinned and picked Maerad up. The trainer hugged her Eevee close to her and walked away from the pond before any more wild Pokemon could come out and try to run them out.
