The new Structure Decks (YGO)

    This new American Structure Deck thing is not very cool. I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars getting these very rare and extremely powerful cards from the booster packs. And now they're commons.

    Does everyone else feel like I do? Like you've been ripped off since it took you all this time getting Vampire Lord, and then it becomes no rarer than a Waboku?
     
    I don't buy Yu-gi-oh cards anymore.I only battle because in my opinion i have the perfect deck (i'm not bragging).
     
    i play on YVD so i don't care much...but it is good that new people can share the powerful cards that you worked so hard for so fair and unfair at the same time ^_^

    Screw you. I don't collect the cards either. That's why I said, "...very rare and extremely powerful cards..." Your deck is no different from a six year olds, and neither is mine now.
     
    T-Master, that was out of line.

    Don't flame him. Screw you is a flame. Second, it doesn't matter what age a duelist is if they are skilled enough to put together a good deck and win with it. third, if you make a big deal about age, then you're as immature as you think those six year olds are.

    As for my opinion on these new structure decks, I like them. Well made decks that allow people like me to get cards they never had the fortune to get before.
     
    I'm with Pogi on the new decks. I like them, too. My deck's power increased significantly after buying Dragon's Roar. On the subject of card value, I don't really care, I just play the game.
     
    Some people may think it's a rip-off because a lot of the very rare cards are now common in these decks, but you should look at it from the gamer's point-of-view. Some of us (including myself) have never been able to obtain these very rare cards, so these Structure Decks are just the thing to help us (and beginner duelists who are just starting) to get the boost our decks need. Plus, the two foils in the decks (Red Eyes Darkness Dragon and Vampire Genesis) are unique to those decks alone. They can't be gotten any other way at the moment. The decks are pretty awesome in my opinion, and I can now have a deck I could never have had before.
     
    Exactly. That's how I feel- I don't have near enough cash to go out and buy boosters until I get a certain, rare card. I love the starter and structure decks- they have good, solid cards that will heighten any player. Although card value is quite important if you want to sell those cards, I consider raw, playing power to be above that.
