I play guitar, played for two years now ^^
My favorite things in the world are probably music (and pokemon, ofc :3) and friends :'D

Hmm *thinks* Well I don't know if it's interesting as much as it is lame but here goes. My name is Ipolani (EYE-POH-LAWN-EE), Ipo for short. I'm not Hawaiian but my birth parents (I'm adopted) were a bunch of drugged up hippies and thought it'd be a totally awesome name for their lil' white girl.

Oh and btw, even though my name is Ipo, only my family calls me that. Just call me Lani instead ^.^;

I dunno, probably xD But it doesnt matter, as people is also having trouble with my last name >.> Oh well.

Lil Lee, for Suicune, I think he has a potensial in defense stats... But I'm not sure :3 Adamant nature for Latios? Hmmm... I dunno if thats great, but again, I'm not that familiar with Legendaries ^^ Check Serebii.net for more detailed info ^^
 
Hello everyone, I just joined recently ( : D) and I was hoping to have a question answered, what exactly is an .ips file? I recently found the Pokemon firered hack ( pokemon genesis) but i'm have a little trouble with the final beta, I downloaded it but I have no idea what to do with it, I tried using 7-zip and winrar, both of which didn't work. Also I use Visual Boy Advance, so maybe that has something to do with it? Anyway hope to get an answer soon, would really like to play it. ( A game where Mareep is a starter? HELL YESSSSS)
 
Hi everyone, I'm a new user attracted from the hacking and modding sections of the forum! :)

@ Destoryer12 An ips file basically contains all the hack data without adding any controversial data such as the rom. In order to play that game, I think you have to find a clean Fire Red rom and patch it with the IPS file you downloaded: to patch you have to use the software IPS patcher, google it and you are done! ;)

And sorry for my english, but I'm not a native speaker.
 
Hi everyone I'm Brandon i just started playing pokemon again, I haven't played since the original Pokemon Silver came out, I'm determined to finish my pokedex, since i was never able to do it when i was a kid, I joined this site in hopes i could finaly do it. It's awesome that you're ready to start putting a team together, but this is the newbie introduction thread, and as such.. really not the place to ask for help with ROM Hacking teams. xD;

I'd head into this area, if I were you, just be mindful to read the rules in that section.

Better safe than sorry, wouldn't want to make a thread only to have it deleted. ><;

I'd love to help if I weren't already pre occupied with my own ideas for a ROM hack haha. Been spending a ton of time just simply writing the story for it :(
