3rd Gen The Non-Evolver Challenge (R/S/E)

Well, after playing through R/S/E several times with barely used pokemon, I realized most of them were pokemon that did not evolve. Then, I came to Pokecommunity and saw all the challenge threads. My challenge to you is to make a team of non evolvers and play through the game.
Also note, if you participate, update periodically, whether it's just editing your post or detailing your progress. Whichever suits you best.

Q: What is a non evolver?
A: A pokemon that has no evolutionary line, such as minun. No, you cannot just give a pokemon an everstone. If it has potential to evolve, (in this generation) it cannot be used.

Q: Legendaries can't evolve, so why can't I use them?
A: It wouldn't be much of a challenge if you could use all legends. Plus, you get most of those late ingame anyway.

You can use it until you catch one of the pokemon on the list. If you don't get it until mauville, let's say, then you can use whatever pokemon until then.

 

[Kucheat]

The first ones you can get are Mawile in Ruby and Sableye in Sapphire. Both are in Granite Cave in Dewford Town.

Yeah, but if you don't want to use them in your party, you could have to wait longer. (For example, take a team of seviper, minun, tropius, chimecho, skarmory and relicanth. The first pokemon you could get would be minun, so you could use whatever you needed to get by until then.)

well i believe that in emerald, a sableye could be found at the granite cave but its kinda rare... but still... i think the easiest way to beat this challenge is to trade w/ other.....

Yeah, trading could help (potentially), but you don't have to at all. Most of these pokemon can be organized in a way that they'll all be on one cartridge.

Note : I have never ever even caught or used these pokemon before except skarmory as a Fly HM slave, and of course castform, but i havent trained or fought either of them. this is why i picked them.

Well i started and i picked mudkip. (its female so i can breed it when i beat the challange :D) I am in odale town now.

UPDATE - I beat roxanne with water gun and nosepass evolved my mudkip. I cant get any pf my pokemon until after mauville when i can use rock smash to get nosepass...

UPDATE - I caught my first pokemon besides my starter, nincanda for cut and flash. I skipped the second rival fight.

UPDATE - 3rd rival fight is hard since grovyle does 4x dmg with absorb.

You can participate, but you can't use ralts. No pokemon with any evolutionary line :) I'll add you to the list of participants.

Ugh, still training marshtomp for grovyle, im too lazy to train another pokemon. I am level 24.

UPDATED - Woot, i love mud-slap, i could take 3 asorbs before i got KOed so i kept mud slapping it and healing until it rarely hit then i tackled it 4 times and KOed him.

Hmm....If you can't beat her, I recommend a taillow. It seems to level at a decent rate, and once it learns peck or wing attack, you could probably ko her easily, plus afterwards you can keep it for an hm slave.

UPDATED - Woot, i love mud-slap, i could take 3 asorbs before i got KOed so i kept mud slapping it and healing until it rarely hit then i tackled it 4 times and KOed him.

Just quoted myself as i forgot to refresh to notice your post before my edit. Well wattson was surprisingly hard. His manetric did a lot of damage after using howl 4 times. I still beat him though, now im off to get nosepass...
