I got nosepass, i had to rock smash every rock in the dewford cave 3 times before i found him and i was lucky not to get a geodude. Its female so it will be easy to get a better nosepass. If im thinking correctly, torkal is next?

EDIT - Doh, forgot to fight brawly, oh well ill go back once i get fly...

EDIT - Well heres my nosepass current stats.

Yeah, torkoal will be next for you. And you'll get skarmory quickly after that. and solrock too.

I get torkoal in fiery path right? Im pretty sure i can get him on emerald, because i cant find any, been wandering around in the path for quite a while.

EDIT - The second i posted i ran into one...

EDIT - Caught with my last pokeball, im making this a bit more challenging for me and catching all my pokemon with only pokeballs, no other balls. (actually im just too poor to buy other balls :P) BTW its a girl!

EDIT - Put torkoal in the daycare so while i use mach bike on the long path through mauville to vendenturf while i watch TV. Last update for today.

Nice challenge ^^ Usually I challenge myself by trying to catch them all in different kinds of balls (Like, pokeball, great ball, timer ball, net ball, dive ball, nest ball as an example for a team of caught pokemon)
 
Ok now this is really the last update today. :P Torkoal is 23 and Nosepass is 22.

UPDATE - Got skarmory and solrock, solrock made me use 14 pokeballs :(.

UPDATE - Did all the boring stuff, beat flannery :O)
It was a long battle, sent out Nosepass, Nosepass got KOed by Numel by a Magnitude 10. Torkoal KOed Numel with body slam. Body slam got Camerupt into the red, overheat KOed me, Cameupt healed. Camerupt KOed my whole team except Marshtomp, Nincada, a level 20 Skarmory and a lvl 14 Solrock. Skarmory KOed camerupt with a few lucky steel wings. Next out was Torkoal, he KOed skarmory, so i knew i couldnt win at that point and i refused to use Marshtomp, as he is not part of my challange, he is a HM slave. I sent him out and was planning to use constant oran berries on myself as he attacked until i eventually died, he used Overheat and KOed me, which makes no sense how a FIRE type 1 level lower than me killed me, a WATER type, with a FIRE move, but thats not the point. So i sent out my level 14 solrock aginst a level 29 Torkoal, I used confusion as i entered the battle, it used overheat, missed, i used confusion, it became confused, hurt itself, i used confusion, it hurt itself, i used confusion, it hurt itself, i used confusion, it snapped out of confusion and used body slam i think to take away half my HP, i used confusion, she healed, i used ether on confusion, torkoal used overheat and missed, i used confusion, it became confused and hurt itself, i used confusion, it hurt itself, it used an attack leaving me at 3 hp i didnt take the chance to heal, as torkoal was almost dead so i used confusion, it hurt itself, i used confusion, it hurt itself, i healed with a super potion, it hit me, then i used confusion, and it KOed itself next turn. So a level 14 Solrock beat a gym leaders level 29 Torkoal. It was all luck. Screenshot attached for proof, i think that proves it. Im kinda pissed it only leveled me once though. (almost twice)

Well with the lack of fighting moves except rock smash. It seems norman will be quite a hard fight.

Norman's not too bad. He has no resistances but ghost, and his team isn't all that great. You just have to be careful of counter or focus punch.
 
When i first played the game his slaking destroyed my lvl 34 Breloom. And mach punch didnt do much even though it was super effective, i dont really have many good moves on my pokemon. Ill try to get solrock up though and get psychic from the casino place in mauville.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, solrock has a higher attack than special attack, but Slaking has a lower special defense than defense. That might help you.

This will take some time considering you cant get most of them that early in the game.

Also can I use others before a get my team? Like could I use roselia or plusle until I got my team filled?
