The Nuzlocke Challenge

Hi, I'm new to the concept of Nuzlocke challenges, but have decided to try one on my old LG cartridge. Information below;

Trainer Name: Vincent
Gender: Male
Starter Pokemon: Charmander
Starter's Nickname: Blaze

Also, quick question. Do you count any Pokemon you see on your way to Viridian City to get Oak's Parcel in the beginning of the game? Or can you still catch a Pokemon from there once you have the Pokedex?

Rules:
1.) If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. Place it in a PC Box and don't touch it ever again.
2.) One Pokemon from each area. If you faint the first Pokemon you see, that route is off limits for catching anything.
3.) Nickname all Pokemon. No exceptions.
4.) Gift Pokemon do not count towards an area total. Nor do Eggs.(If they exist in this game.)
5.) Nuzlocke challenge is over once all legendaries(Mew not included) have been beaten, and the Elite Four/Champion have been rechallenged for a second time-Sevii Islands must be completed before the second League challenge is made.
6.) Limit of 20 of each item from any PokeMart.

I decided to change to Diamond. My first Nuzlocke so only the two official rules apply. So here's the basic rundown of what's happened so far.

-Got Mark the Turtwig after following my idiotic friend to Lake Verity
-Did the tutorial stuff
-Finally got the Pokeballs from Lucas
-Went back to Route 201 to catch Plumb, my Bidoof.
-Went up to Route 202 to catch Ezek, my Starly.
-Mindless grinding until Ezek and Plumb were Lv. 8
-Delivered Parcel
-Got the Old Rod and fished for Jace, my Magikarp on Route 218.
-Defeated my rival and went onto the next route, where I caught Freiz, my Abra
-Got through Oreburgh Tunnel without meeting a single Pokemon.
-Caught Dudley, my Geodude, in Oreburgh Mine
-Grind, grind, grind...
-Soloed the gym with Mark, who evolved after I beat Roark.
-Went up to the impassable route and caught Bruno, my Machop, who was boxed.
-Went through the Oreburgh Tunnel without meeting a Pokemon again.
-Went up and destroyed the Galactic Grunts
-Route 204, I caught Kinchiona, my Shinx and only female Pokemon, who was boxed.
-Stopped and saved.

Nuzlocke run started May 20, 2012

Picked Chimchar as starter. nickname:Spleen

Caught Level 4 Starly at Lake Verity. nickname: Heavy

Caught Level 3 Bidoof at Route 201. nickname: Useless

Caught Level 3 Shinx at Route 202. nickname: Soylent

Got Old Rod from Fisherman at gate in Jubilife City.

Caught Level 4 Magikarp in Twinleaf Town. nickname: Saginaw

Caught Level 5 Budew at Route 204. nickname: Cholera

Caught Level 5 Geodude at Ravaged Path. nickname: Face

Took on Rival Loser on Route 203. Beat Starly with Face & Piplup with Cholera.

Second Update
-Went into route 104 and caught a marill, named Vulcan, deposited in box as I was not bothered to grind it as I already have a water type and have plenty of chances to catch more.
-Beat trainers and entered Petalburg woods and caught a slakoth which I nicknamed Zeus.
- Got to rustboro, healed and went to route 116 to catch my pokemon for that route, I caught a nincada nicknamed Ares and boxed it.
-Grinded in route 116 and lost Hades to a critical leech life from a wild nincada. A little disappointed to lose my first pokemon but it was my weakest pokemon and it was going to be boxed shortly anyways.
-Caught Whismur in Rusturf tunnel named Hera and boxed as I already have 2 normal types.
-Poseidon evolved and I decided it was time to challenge the gym.
- OHKO both geodudes with water gun and took down nosepass without losing much hp
- Beat may again and went to dewford town and caught the pokemon I was hoping for, aron, in granite cave.

After beating Loser, made my way through Oreburgh Gate & Mine.

Caught Zubat at Level 4 in Oreburgh Mine. Nickname: Monorail.

Beat everyone in Oreburgh Gym with Face the Geodude using Rock Smash. Got Coal Badge!

Caught Machop at Level 5 in Route 207. Nickname: Desperate.

Went through Ravaged Path and up to Floarama. Over to Valley Windworks.

Beat Galactic Leader Mars, but she killed my Starly, Zubat, and Shinx. Chimchar evolved to Monferno.

-Took onbrawly, mercury (dustox) took down machop with confusion, Poseidon (marshtomp)defeated meditite with mud shot and brawly's death machine was no match formercury's confusion, Knuckle badge obtained!!
-Went torustboro to collect the exp.share.
-NOOOO lostZeus (slakoth) to a critical vital throw from a makhuita in route 116 , so mucheffort and time put into grinding into and it was just over a level fromevolving :( really wanted to evolve into slaking as it's such a powerhouse.Yawn took affect afterwards as well. This is my second favorite from my teamafter my Poseidon so losing Zeus is devastating.
-Beattrainers up ahead and grinded that little extra bit before may, do not want tolose another pokemon.
-May easilydefeated, remember her being harder, mercury took down wingull with a fewconfusions, two water guns from Poseidon defeated slugma and grovyle was nomatch for mercury and gust.
-Reachedmauville and obtained hm rock smash, caught oddish in route 117 and namedVesta, put Hera (Whismur) and Ares (nincada) in daycare.
-Ok my Pokémon'slevels are a little low…time to grind.

Update No.1

Before I forget, I will say that I do use an emulator but when I'm doing a challenge, I don't use hacks in the game I'm doing the challenge for
-Started off with the usual annoying intro
-Named male character Tai
-Named Rival Etemon (just because I don't like him)
-Tai finished watching some crap TV show about some boring Professor dude that he'll most likely never meet
-Etemon barged into Tai's room telling me to come see Professor Rowan for some odd reckless reason
-Met Professor Rowanwho asked if Tai and Etemon truly love Pokemon
-Both answer yes and meet Dawn who gives them both a starter Pokemon
-Tai chose Chimchar while Etemon chose Piplup
-Etemon challenged Tai to their very first Pokemon battle
-Tai and Chimchar rested up at home after a hard-fought victory against Etemon and Piplup
-Tai received a pair of Running Shoes from his Mom
-Tai and Etemon went to Lake Verity to try and catch the Legendary Pokemon that was rumored to be there
-While there they saw a man with blue hair seemingly talking to himself
-The boys realised after they heard the cry of the Legendary Pokemon that they had no Pokeballs between them
-Tai and Chimchar trained in Route 201 for a while during which Chimchar learned Ember and grew to Lv. 8
-Tai arrived in Sandgem Town and was greeted by Dawn as well as got rammed into by Etemon
-Tai showed Professor Rowan his Chimchar
-Prof. Rowan helped Tai give Chimchar the nickname Agunimon
-Prof. Rowan gave Tai the Pokedex and asked that he complete it by meeting all the Pokemon in the Sinnoh Region
-Tai left Prof. Rowan's lab but was stopped and given TM27 Return by the old man
-Tai was given a useless tutorial on the Pokemon Center and the Pokemart and was told to go tell a family member that he was going on a journey
NB: From now on, I'm going to talking about Tai in first-person mode because its easier that way. Also I won't be using the one Pokemon caught in each area until I get Pokeballs
-Obtained the Journal from Mom
-Received Parcel from Etemon's Mom
-Watched yet another useless tutorial - this one on how to catch Pokemon
-Received five Pokeballs from Dawn
-Found a wild Bidoof (Female, Lv. 2) in Route 201 and caught it (nickname will be Slavinator)
-Went out to Route 202 and caught a Starly (Male, Lv. 4) during which Slavinator was killed (nickname will be Garudamon)
-Went to the Pokemart and bought five Potions and ten Pokeballs with a free Premier Ball thrown in
-Garudamon grew to Lv. 5 and learned Quick Attack
-Garudamon grew through to Lv. 9 after some training and learned Wing Attack
-Agunimon grew to Lv. 9 and learned Taunt
-Arrived in Jubilife City and was greeted by Dawn who took me to the Trainer's School after we chatted to Looker of the International Police and got the Vs. Recorder
-Delivered Parcel to Etemon and received Town Map
-Obtained Poketch Coupon 2
-Obtained Poketch Coupon 3
-Obtained Poketch Coupon 1
-Obtained the Poketch
-Trained up team in Route 204 as well as catching Shinx (Female, Lv. 4, nickname Elecmon)

-recieved the pokedex from oak
-had an uneventful walk back to viridian doing a little grinding on the way
-hoped to catch a caterpie to battle brock
-walked into viridian forest
-...found a weedle
-killed it, did some grinding to level eight, then took on the trainers.
-Yeah, next pokemon I found was caterpie -_-
-I left the forest and hoped to find one in the patch outside it
-Found a pidgey
-Rage killed it
-Went back into the forest and grinded to level 16
-Yeah I really don't wanna lose my charmeleon against the first gym...
-Went in, metal clawing and scratching my way to victory
-Left the gym with a boulderbadge
-Fought a few trainers on route 3
-Looked to see in I could get lucky and find a nidoranF
-Found a spearow....not exactly my luckiest save file...
-Bought the ripoff magikarp from the man in the pokemon center in case I need it later
-Went into mount moon and caught a zubat (eh...why not)
