The Nuzlocke Challenge

Leaf Green Nuzlocke challenge

• Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released (or boxed, never to see the light of day again).
• You may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. (Can be adjusted to ban duplicate captures.)
• Trading is disallowed, but the reasons following this clause are allowed. Egg trading is okay, same thing with Pokemon that can't have eggs. (optional) Trading simply for the purpose of evolution is perfectly fine.

• A black out/white is a "game over," even if there are Pokémon left in the PC.
• You must change the battle style to SET.
• You may not heal outside the use of Pokémon Centers
• You may only use PokéBalls.
• You must kill all legendary Pokémon.
• You can only use pokemon centers after defeating the towns gym( towns without gyms are exempt)
• no Items(besides pokeballs obviously)
• You can only buy 10 pokeballs per mart & can only visit a mart once

This will be extremely hard but i look forward to it

It's been a while since my last nuzlocke update, but I cleared out some roms and save files because of my acekard 2i was getting kind of full, the only saves I kept are basically the ones in my sig. For my roms, I just deleted extra copies. So, the point is I deleted my W2 nuzlocke data, and instead, I want to do this on Crystal again after my last failure. I'll post a pic of my failing team if I fail, or a winning team if I beat Red.

I'll also just do the 2 required rules, and that I have to kill every legendary.

I'll edit this later.

EDIT: I know this isn't an important update, but I am up to Goldenrod. I got a shiny Tyrogue from the Odd Egg! :)

I am training for the Elite Four, here are some pics.

When I feel like it, I'll attach my notepad file of my status, with stuff like deceased Pokemon, I'll probably wait to attach it when I fail/beat this challenge. :)

I had to get my computer fixed, so every file on it was deleted, the only ROMs and saves I have now are on my AK2i, I was mad because I spent forever getting that level 15 Extremespeed Dratini to level 55 before the E4.
Oh well, I'll try(again) on Platinum, I don't have to worry about anything deleting on that because my girlfriend has her own AK2i, and I'm a very organized person. :)

Sorry for a long post, anyways, it's 1:20AM where I'm at, and I can't sleep, so I'll play for a while and listen to BTBAM.

Optional Rules
1. Cannot catch legendary Pokemon, I'll kill 'em instead.
2. I'll count North/South/East/West parts of a Route separate(like Route 204, North/South). Floors still count as one area like inside of Mt. Coronet, but outside will count as different(the snowy part before getting to the top).

I Started a Nuzlocke Run On Pokemon White. So that everyone is Caught up I didn't go very far.

Extra Rules:
Battle In Set.
No Catching Duplicates.
1 heal Before and on after the town Gym Leader is dealt with (Revived after post-game.)
I might make a story out of this that is for for you to decide.

My Adventure So Far.

- Took Owshawott as my Starter. Named Him Walter.

- Did not Encounter any Pokemon on Route 1.

- After beating N, I went to Route 2 where I was going to get a Lillipup until Walter Did A Critical hit on him.

- Gained a Pansear (Lucian) and Used Him to defeat Chili though he was getting out rom his nap so it was still a alright battle.

- In the Dreamyard, I met a Audino That was a little spicy yet quiet at times Which is why I call him Diego (Level 9)

- Walter Evolved between this time.

- Cheren Killed Diego with his Snivy. He was Level 12

- In The Cave , I met a Male Woobat that was just as feisty as Diego, So I named him Salvador (Lvl 11)

I've never done a nuzlocke before, but my bf says they can be really fun, so I'm going to try on Black, he also told me that it will be harder on BW because of the new exp formula.
Since this is my first nuzlocke, I'll only use the two main rules. I hope I can get through this without a game over.

Sole's Pokemon White Nuzlocke

The Story:

- After Training my pokemon to At least Level 20. I decide to go to Outer Pinwheel forest to catch a pokemon.

- I Later found A Tympole that was little restless but in the end became our friend, Charlie

- This however was short lived from One Hit Critical move by N's Timburr. He was Level 17

- I then found the courage to press on a fought Lenora, Praying that her Accursed Watchhog would get me.

- Though I was faster And won The Basic Badge

-Later after chasing Team Plasma, I had found a Sewaddle which was a shy one. So I named Reggie

- After training him to be Par with my group. He Evolved to a Swadloon.

I'm finally updating. :) I'm playing on desmume.

What Happened:
- I picked Snivy and beat Cheren and Bianca.
- Did the beginning part with Juniper.
- Caught Lillipup on Route 1, and Beat N, then healed.
- Failed to catch a Purrloin on Route 2:( and beat Bianca very easily again.
- Got Panpour from the Dreamyard.
- Trained some before fighting Chili.
- Beat Chili easily and went on to do the Dreamyard and Dream Mist stuff.
- Went to Route 3, Beat Cheren and did the Team Plasma in Wellspring Cave stuff.
- Caught a Pidove on Route 3 and a Roggenrola in Wellspring Cave.
- Continued to Nacrene and caught an Audino in Pinwheel Forest outside. I boxed it.
- Trained a lot before fighting Lenora, while training, Pidove and Roggenrola died.
- I challenged Lenora's Gym, one of her trainers(the one with Herdier) killed Panpour.
- Lenora's Herdier killed my Herdier, finished both Herdier and Watchog with Servine.
- Team Plasma stole the Dragon Skull, I went on to Pinwheel Forest.
- I was extremely surprised, the first Pokemon found on the inside was Whimsicott:

Time for another update.

What Happened:
- Got through Pinwheel Forest easily and quickly.
- Made it to Castelia after running through the huge SkyArrow Bridge.
- I did the Battle Company and the Plasma stuff.
- I went up to Route 4 to catch a Darumaka.
- While training, Whimsicott died to a underestimated Fire Fang.
- Solo'd Burgh's whole gym with just Darumaka.
- I went to Route 4, beat Bianca and Cheren, and got to the Desert Resort.
- I caught a Sandile in Desert Resort, and Yamask in Relic Castle.
- I continued to Nimbasa while training on my way there.
- I got the Bike and headed to Route 5 and caught a Gothita, and failed to catch an Audino on Route 16.
- I went to Lostlorn Forest, where I caught a Pansage in shaking grass.
- I continued to train until everyone on my team was around level 30ish.
- While training, Gothita fainted from a Liepard's Pursuit when I tried to switch.:(
- Another death while training, this time Sandile died to an Audino's critical hit Secret Power.
- I beat N very easily with Darumaka's Fire Punch. :)
- I beat Elesa, but in the fight, Yamask fell to Emolga's Volt Switch.
- I saved after the fight.

Um, question! Do G/S/C/HG/SS nuzlockes count as completed when you defeat Red, or can I just go as far as defeating the Pokémon League? This game is going to make me go crazy! Training off of wild Pokémon sucks, because of their small level ranges. :(

The Story:

- I finally after long and hard training evolved Salvador

- After beating Burgh's Gym, I head to Desert Resort to catch my next pokemon.

- I Gain a Smart Alec Sandile Named Drake in the relic castle and a Sassy Darumaka Named Blanche.

- I also gained the Cover fossil as a gift.

- Reggie Evolves into a Leavanny

- Walter had a close call thanks to a Herdier (Critical hit from full life to 1 Hp)

- Defeat N and learned his Dark Secrets

- I then catch three more pokemon. A Brash Tranquill Named Charlotte, The Lazy Solosis, Xilo (Male)
and the Rasher Minccino, Eve. I Keep them in the box for now as back up.

Next Order of Business:

Train Drake till he is a High enough level for the Nimbasa Gym

Get Blanche to par with the rest of the party.

Get more Back up Pokemon.

Get every member to at least level 30 ( In Party )
