They brough Brock back because they believed that people would complain like crazy because it wouldn't feel much like "Pokemon" without atleast one of the original cast being with Ash.

xD Sorta true, but the main reason was for the American audience. Also, the writers found it hard for the plot to make any sense at all if Brock wasn't there. What happens when you don't have the sixteen year old dude who cooks, carries the sleeping bags, and carries the food follow around a bunch of ten year olds? The story doesn't make sense without Brock.

Of course, with the new Diamond & Pearl series upcoming, I will have no complains, since if NONE of the original characters are in there, it is only fair to Misty. On the other hand, she didn't appear in AG, so she should have a place. However, if May or Max appear I swear I am gonna boil. Like what the heck?! The appear as main characters in AG, and as if that was not enough, May dared to gaze into Ash's eyes in a movie! HOW DARE SHE?! If they put Drew in the DP series it's fine with me, because Contestshipping rocks, but I hate the chances of Advanced Shipping. It is simply a Mary-Sue pairing of AS

I'm not comparing anyone to anyone else. I'm just... contrasting their roles. I'm just gonna say that it's unfair how Misty always lacked a large role in movies. I've ALWAYS wanted Misty to be like... the 'chosen one' or whatever. The one who 'unlocks' something secret or whatever. But it never happened. And for that, I'm truly disappointed.

Strange, I thought that they make Brock leave because of 4kids suggesting it or something.

Oh, I didn't draw them. XD I took an existing screenshot, edited it to make it better and enhanced the color.
Since it was so easy, I'm gonna do more. And that screencap was from Beauty is Skin Deep..... or was it Why Wynaut. It was one of Clair's episodes though.
Expect more soon.
 
:D Great job Clair. Anywho, I'm done with that Group Pic Project. Now, I wonder, should I CG it BEFORE I show it to you? Or just show you the, already cool finished version, of the group pic?

@MWM: Thanks for the comments on DA. Lol. Very nice comments about Brock's importance as to the American audience, but really, Misty also had her large role as being Ash's comfort and keeping an airly light feeling of "love" and hope into the series. As you can see, it doesn't feel right without Misty anymore. I would understand if Misty left FOR A WHILE like Brock with Tracy, but Misty never coming back was just plain terrible

And MistyWishMaker, in reply to what you said earlier about what character bashing is: I'm aware that character bashing is basically saying negative stuff of the characters, but the point of my question was which specific characters shouldn't be bashed. As in, Main Characters, Filler Characters, Background Characters, All of the above. See, just saying characters doesn't cut it since I need specifics.

I really hope Misty returns, she really needs to. she is basically one of the very few female main characters in the anime that is not the typical stereotype of a girl (stereotype of girls as in, whiny, sugary, squealing kinds.), no offense to those people who like them. Just saying...

Anyways even though Misty won't be in new Diamond & Pearl episodes..I thought this would cheer you guys up...Here's a link that 2 people (idk them)that are uploading the old pokemon episodes...So I guess sit back relax and enjoy our favorite character!

Thanks for the links AML247! I'll do my best to upload it here. (I have it in my photobucket already...) But theres one thing. Should I show it now, or take time until I fully or mostly CG it? Because CG takes so long... I don't know what to do @_____@!

I'll be back again today to see if I get an answer. If it's a total yes, I'll post it later. If not and you guys just want to see and discuss WHILE I'll CG it later, that's fine too. ;) But I need your guy's opinion first ^___^.
 
^I think you should post the outline first, and when you have time, slowly CG it :D

Aww.... old episodes. <3 I miss Misty so much. She's the biggest obsession of my life. xD

Ta Da! It's finished like I promised, and maybe this might not seem much to you, but A-one I was so mad at you that you didn't add me... that I made this project... Luckily it's done and no more hard feelings (that much >___>) to you, A-one. I'll be CGing this sometimes soon. So keep an eye on it. Maybe this will lighten things up some more before this club (might) completely die... @____@

@weedle_mchairybug: I didn't really have that much of space to draw your character but that's not really the reason why I drew you in such an interesting place. I thought, since you seem to be an analyst, that you'd be perfect as a cooool photographer. I liked how I did your eyes XD and everyone! *Cheers*!

OMG! It's me as an angel ^^ Such a beautiful sketch! I love it~! Anyway I did a Officer Jenny to May as a criminal speech. It's sort of a comedy which May is the accsued and Misty is the one who sued her. May shouted objection and Offiecr Jenny, as the judge, declared that Objection failed. It's in Chinese, but if I managae to translate it ^^ Anwyay it's not May bashing but a small comedy -GIGGLES- Btw, am I the boy or the angel, Tkinc? XD

-crys- Omg the Pokemon pictrue is SO touching. Weeps on bed, clutching all the first season VCDs. WAWAWAWA~! -I have mutiple personality o__O- Needs to switch back to serious mode.

I'll do anything to switch Misty with Max. Not that Max is a replacement, but seriously, what does Pokemon needs him for?

- To use (I typed it as sue just now) the Map? Brock does that.
- Company? Nah, Ash has Brock, Misty, sometimes Tracey and maybe May... (She's great in Contestshipping, and maybe a slight trace of Hoennshipping.)
- Pull Brock's ear? MISTY IS READY!
- Can't think of anymore... Keeping May company? Why don't Misty and May be buddies/pals instead?

See!? Anyway the main reason I am mad at May is because she gazed into Ash's eyes and she has an annoying little brother who has really no use and that made Misty unable to return! -I hope it will soon change- I am mad at both of them because Misty's not there, it's a very selfish reason, but I can't help it. A fivesome group will do fine as long as Misty is there with ASH, I don't care who the heck comes in next.

-switches to cheerful mode- AaaaH! The noon sun feels bad... -n0ob mode- Moon, you gimme come out now! :P -back to happy-go-lucky mode- w0ot, typing lots, better stop here ^^

Btw: If there is a next time for the group picture, I'll be looking forward to it ^.-

Well that's a no brainer ^___^. Misty looked BEAUTIFUL as a mermaid, so I think her sisters might be around the same way EXCEPT THAT Misty is FAR FAR more prettier than her other sisters (in my opinion ^^)

Ah, an xoxkris, I didn't know whether you were a guy or a girl (thought you were/are a girl) so I added a character with Sakura's hair (like in your avatar) and wings so you can stand out!

@A-one: Thanks. I think others should make a group pic too of there own since they might have time. Otherwise, you can all wait until I color the existing one ;)

Max won't be in the D/P series. Neither will May. (Or Misty... but now this way, it's fair.)
 
Yups V_____V Not much we can do about it. After Diamond and Pearl releases this September in Japan, they'll release a subsequent new season (like they did with Ruby/Sapphire and any other game >____<.) I think the artist's are bored of drawing the same 'old' thing. And since they screwed up BIG TIME before, they think by taking almost everyone out and starting from like... scratch will work.

Oooh TKinc, it's hard on you, 2 more person to draw! I am a girl -points to gender- and my hair reaches my thigh in a V-shape manner o___O Lol. Gambette nei~!

Yes! It's rather depressing like A-One said, but still, it's much more fair. DP, you rock... Well, now that May isn't there, she can spend some lovely dovey time with Shuu-san!

I am still sad that nothing came out of Kasumi and Satoshi-kun... Maybe in the future, another season will be released like the old group, Takashi, Satoshi and Kasumi. Maybe Shuu and Haruka, and maybe Masato. Six may seem like a big group, bu the more the merrier.

Actually I would have said that all of them are very very very beautiful, equally beautiful except that Kasumi stands out a little more.--- My TA (Topic Ans.)
