![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a1-167.png?t=1284301701)
So I was thinking "there is nothing wrong with having a Pickupper in the team", so that's what I did.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a2-144.png?t=1284301701)
The next route gave me a Wingull. Useless. I wanted a Shuppet.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a4-116.png?t=1284301701)
And I arrived at Lilycove and did this. I also caught 2 more Magikarps in the area. And yes, that was with the Good Rod. Safari Zone gave me a Girafarig, but of course it fled. Dammit, a Girafarig would have been amazing.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a6-100.png?t=1284301701)
And then I got this on Mt.Pyre, hoping for Vulpix because of Steven. As it turned out, this thing had HP Ground though, there was hope.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a7-91.png?t=1284301701)
Another route, another Pokemon. This time actually one that I wanted, and then this. Asdfdgh. Seriously, I can't say anything else to that.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a8-85.png?t=1284301701)
Oh yeah, before I could fail to catch the Girafarig...
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a9-82.png?t=1284301701)
...I had to get this utterly useless item. Bah.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a10-73.png?t=1284301701)
The last May battle was no problem.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a11-68.png?t=1284301701)
But then, suddenly this. Another of these "HOW THE &§$# DID THAT JUST HAPPEN"-deaths
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a12-61.png?t=1284301701)
There are also good things though. Like the fact that Mauro FINALLY evolved. And learned Hyper Beam. A very situational move, but I can foresee situations where it might actually come in handy.
![[PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD [PokeCommunity.com] THE OFFICIAL NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE THREAD](https://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac79/mondayssukc/th_a13-55.png?t=1284301701)
It's always a good decision to pick up the Master Ball BEFORE the Electrode. I find it a nice way to avoid Selfdestruct.

Why is he laughing?:t054:

And I got to Mossdeep. Somewhere on the way there, Theodorus (Wailmer) accidentally killed a Magikarp, and the only other thing I did so far was the gym battle. Which was a huge pain. If I wouldn't have gotten a Surf Durf crit on Lunatone just in the right moment, Theodorus probably would have died. And even with only Solrock left on the enemy side, Tvrquil's (Grumpig) turn still was mostly used for healing. Damned Sunny Beam.

1. Buy some Repels
2. Use them to get to that one unimportant Water City without wild encounters
3. Get the Super Rod
4. ???
5. Profit
Disregard that, Bulbapedia says it's in Mossdeep, not Pacifidlog.
