Ok so far im still doing some REALLY neaded training, this feebas is going to take forever to train, so not much of an update, everyone else is around lvs 13-14 with the exception of deoxys, he was caught at lv 30

-Started the game, named myself Tachi.
-Chose Totodile as my starter for HM reasons.
-Pokesaved my team in at level 1 with a few egg moves and randomised IVs.
-Boring beginning stuff happened, running shoes, apricorn box and pokedex get.
-Got a phone call from Elm telling me that something went horribly wrong
-Beat passerby boy...returned to the lab and named him Gav.
-Made my way to Violet City
-Beat Sprout Tower
-Violet City gym time!

Vs. Falkner
Roadkill and Pidgey were the first on the field, Pidgey simply spammed Sand-attack while Roadkill headbutted it into unconsciousness. Next up, Pidgeotto vs Solid, Solid went down in 2 gusts, although one of them was a crit. Next up was Sting, who I withdrew when he was close to fainting...I sent Roadkill back out, but she got knocked down to 3HP with one gust. I caved and sent Fergie in, she defeated Pidgeotto with one HP to spare. Zephyr badge get!

-Got the Togepi egg, boxed it...
-Went south, through Union Cave and to Azalea Town
-Saved and turned off

Okay, so after a long drop from the face of the internet, and my computer undergoing repairs, I've returned, and made some progress on this challenge. Takeru's Log starts now.

Entry 18: Okay, so after a long break and subsequent long trek back through Mt. Moon to Cerulean, I went to Route 9. What a surprise, a tree blocking off the way. Bellossom hacked away with Cut so we could get through, and we had to fight a LOT of trainers to get to Route 10, where the Rock Tunnel's entrance is located. After heading to the Pokemon Center and getting that Drowzee I caught, and teaching it Flash, I started my trek through.

Entry 19: MY GOD. I have NEVER seen so many Pokemon Cosplayers in one place. And in a CAVE of all places. I swear, [STRIKE]furries... Furries everywhere...[/STRIKE] I was tempted to hurt them badly. But in the end, I decided to just go on ignoring them, but there were so many of them in there... Along with a lot of Hikers and Picnickers. While battling one of those "Pokemaniacs", as they call themselves (as if they could hold a candle to Bill. At least he's not a [STRIKE]furry[/STRIKE] COSPLAYER.), Cubone EVOLVED! He looked so happy to become a Marowak. I know we'll just keep getting stronger and stronger.

Entry 20: So many people in the Rock Tunnel! My gosh, you'd think that people wouldn't hold Picnics IN A FREAKING CAVE! And they're all battle-crazy, I swear... I also met a guy in a side path leading to a dead end that offered to teach one of my Pokemon Rock Slide. Since Marowak was the only compatible Pokemon, I had him forget Rock Slide to learn it. I battled a few more "Pokemaniacs" and Picnickers, and finally made it out. Thank god.

Entry 21: A few trainers to battle on the way out. One of them a Pokemaniac who offers to show me his "Pogeymanz", as he calls them. We battle, I kick his ass, and then he says he hates people better than him. PINNACLE OF MATURITY, that guy.</sarcasm> Anyway, after that, I decided to heal up some of my Pokemon and visit the Pokemon Tower to pay my respects to some fallen Pokemon... Including my Dad's dead Bulbasaur...

Entry 22: Wow... I just received a bit of shocking news... Gary's Raticate... It died... He came to Lavender to have his Raticate's spirit put to rest... I started apologizing, and he said he didn't blame me, but that he'll become the Champion to reach that goal for himself and Raticate. Then we battled. I have to say, he's gotten a LOT better than the last time we battled, but the end result was the same. I won. He said he'd win next time, and left me to do what I came here for. Bulba's grave is on the top floor. Which means I've got a good bit of climbing to do...

Entry 23: Well crap. This definitely isn't good. I came to visit a grave on the top floor, but on the third floor, I ran into a ghost! Not a Ghost-type Pokemon, but an actual GHOST! There's no way I'll be able to make it up to the top floor with a bunch of ghosts haunting the place. A seer by the stairway said that the ghosts could be ID'd with a Silph Scope. Guess that means it's off to Saffron again... I just hope that the road isn't blocked like at Cerulean...

Sneasel's still proving her strength time and time again. She's an intense battler and seems to be pretty much fearless. Ghosts apparently being the ONE exception. She apparently can't stand ghosts...

Takeru's Thoughts:
After his evolution, Marowak's gotten even stronger. He's definitely still the Alpha Male among my Pokemon, and he isn't afraid to show it. He seems to be very depressed since we've reached Lavender Town, though. So I've gotta think that confirms that the Cubone that the citizens were talking about was Marowak. Hopefully when the time comes, we can help Marowak overcome his struggles.

Takeru's Thoughts:
Bellossom's definitely doing well for himself. Rock Tunnel was very easy for him, considering that most of the Pokemon there were Rock & Ground-types. In addition, Bullet Seed is as reliable as ever, getting one-hit KO's 9 times out of 10.

Takeru's Thoughts:
So far, Wailmer's a really powerful combatant, and hasn't disappointed in battle. He seems to have a penchant for using Rollout a lot. Particularly against Grass-types. Mainly those include Bellsprout.

So far, a well-rounded team. My next plan is to pick up a Fire-type. I know Growlithe are pretty common on Route 7.

Okay, so the mention of Growlithe on Route 7 is meant to be foreshadowing to the fact that I intend to get my Houndour there, like you would in GSC and HGSS.

Heart Gold Update #2

-Beat Team Rocket in Slowpoke Well
-Easily beat Gav, got HM01 and charcoal.
-Azalea Town gym time!

Vs. Bugsy.
I led with Roadkill, Scyther used Focus Energy and got glared at before getting headbutted down, flinching 4 out of 5 times and using leer the other time. Fergie easily dealt with the cocoon pokemon. Hive badge get!

-Went through Ilex Forest, taught Solid Headbutt
-Got to Goldenrod City, got the bike.
-Won the Bug Catching Contest with a Kakuna :P
-Evolved Cher
-Got the Radio card
-Gambled up Ice Beam and Flamethrower
-Gym time!

vs. Whitney.
I started with Fergie, Clefairy went down to a flamethrower after Fergie's last ancientpower finally gave some stat boosts...Miltank proceeded to crit stomp Fergie out of the match. Roadkill went out, glared at Miltank a couple of times and proceeded to put the fat cow in a position it's put way too many players in. Serene grace headbutt + paralysis seems to have about the same rate of jerkishness as AI stomp and attract. Plain badge get!

-Got the squirtbottle, beat up Sudowoodo, got Rock Smash
-Went to Ecruteak City
-Beat the grunt in the dance theater, got surf
-Met Eusine in burned tower, beat Gav, freed the legendary beasts.
-Gym time!

Vs. Morty.
Swept him with Roadkill. Fog Badge get!

Take Chinchou, Snorunt, Onix, Scyther, Aerodactyl and Houndour. Of course you can evolve them, that's fairly standard. That includes Onix, and even Scyther if you want (even though that's strictly not an evolution seeing as Scizor's BST is exactly the same as Scyther's).

-Climbed the lighthouse, got told to get the secret potion from Cianwood
-Headed back through to Mahogany Town, got strength
-Caught the red Gyarados for HM purposes
-Beat up Team Rocket in Mahogany Town
-Got Sludge Bomb, taught it to Cher
-Got Pluck, taught it to Maria, headed to Cianwood

Vs. Eusine.
Sting beat Drowzee with 3 signal beams, a mud bomb and two magnitudes from Fergie dealt with Electrode, Sting beat Haunter with one surf.

-Gym time!

Vs. Chuck.
Maria two hit KOd Primeape with Pluck. Cher two hit KOd Poliwrath with Energy Ball.

-Got the SecretPotion and Fly, taught Fly to Maria.
-Flew back to Olivine City, gave Amphy the potion...Gym time!

Vs. Jasmine.
Magnemite confused Fergie, who responded by KOing it with Magnitude 7. Sting 2 hit KOd Steelix with Surf, but took a rock throw in return. The second Magnemite hit Fergie with sonicboom before taking a Magnitude 9.
