Update:
-Beat Team Rocket
-Went into Ice Path to get to Blackthorn
-Did some grinding to evolve Snover and finally give Crawdaunt a decent Dark move.
-Found a Trainer Rematch that gives very good experience, and abusing it very well. Picknicker Erin, who can be rematched at Saturday night has a lv 41 Rapidash and is quite high-levelled compared to other trainer rematches at this point and gives very good experience.
-Beat Clair
-Saved before Dragon's Den.
My team:
Nidoqueen ♀ @Quick Claw Level 38
Poison Point- Calm
-Bite
-Body Slam
-Blizzard
-Surf
Quick Claw activates quite frequently and I love when parahax from Body Slam+Bite kicks in. Very good survivability and taught her Surf so I could replace Crawdaunt's Surf with Waterfall. Surf is also a reliable move against the Selfdestructing Geodudes and Gravelers in the area.
Abomasnow ♂ @Shell Bell level 40
Snow Warning- Rash
-Blizzard
-GrassWhistle
-Wood Hammer
-Ice Shard
Finally Snover evolved (not as cute anymore :(), its defenses weren't up to scratch at this point in the game. While Abomasnow's defenses aren't that spectacular either, it's better now that it's evolved and Blizzard just decimates foes. Wood Hammer is nice but I kind of regret making it the only Grass move as it takes a sizable chunk of life so I gave him a Shell Bell to heal some damage.
Zangoose ♀ @Silk Scarf level 38
Immunity- Lax
-Shadow Claw
-Crush Claw
-Quick Attack
-Swords Dance
As always, a very good sweeper. Nothing much to say here.
Crawdaunt ♂ @None level 39
Hyper Cutter- Quiet
-Night Slash
-Waterfall
-Dig
-Rock Tomb
Finally has a good Dark attack and a Water STAB that uses his good attack stat. Surprised me when he survived Clair's Gyarados Dragon Rage+Dragon Pulse combo, leaving Crawdaunt with 1 HP left and retaliating with a critical hit Night Slash.
Forretress ♂ @Brightpowder level 37
Sturdy- Calm
-Spikes
-Payback
-Toxic Spikes
-Bug Bite
Very impressed with how much it can take Selfdestructs from Gravelers, allowing for easy grinding when they do the KOing themselves. Added Toxic Spikes to his arsenal to make him and my team very stallish, the Toxic damage proved useful against Clair's Kingdra (which was being pelted by Hail and finally finished off by a Quick Attack from Zangoose after Hydro Pump KO'ed Forretress).
Xatu ♂ @King's Rock level 38
Synchronise- Jolly
-Shadow Ball
-Fly
-U-turn
-Light Screen
Very useful supporter. Has good speed and Fly is useful for Toxic stalling. I actually don't know if a King's Rock can make U-turn flinch a pokemon, it hasn't activated yet but if it does work, it would be good to bring another team mate in safely.
