I made this RP a while ago, however, it collapsed so I am trying again with some changes ^-^ If this RP gets accepted I may also have a map of the Ophoore region.

    Background:

Before the Kanto regime ceased control of the Ophoore region, the division amongst the native peoples brought massive war. The Chios who were capable of mysticism had fallen into a succession problem after the death of Queen Ambi whose husband had long been dead. She left two sons, the bright sun mage Asad who was noted for his medicinal and technological innovations and the brash lunar mage Jerard who was known most on the battlefield. The two hated each other and sought to take the others life. The people split amongst the divinity of the light and the divinity of the dark. The branches fought one another for years until the battle at Heaven's Peak, the tallest mountain that surrounds Purity Valley. There the two vanished along with anyone who could have witnessed the events. Still to this day it is unknown what happened, however, that day did mark the absolute fall of the Chios and the Kanto regime claimed the land. The Ophoore region was industrialized and populated by Kanto rule. It gained it's independence when Kanto was suffering internally and could not maintain rule over the region.

In its early years of independence after Kanto rule, the Ophoore remained relatively isolated and refused contact with the rest of the developing world. The Ophoore region, however, can no longer afford to do so. Five soon-to-be trainers from outside the Ophoore region have been asked to begin their adventure in the Ophoore region to promote international affairs. Your character is one these five and he/she will be obtaining their first Pokemon from Professor Cypress to collect gym badges and ribbons from across the region. He/She will be starting from a small town with a port known as Firstar Town where Professor Cypress has decided to take residency.

    The Ophoore Region:

The Ophoore region is a varied land from the mountains along the west to its ocean in the east. The region is home to three forests: the Evergreen Woods, the Forever Forest, and the Sweetsap Forest. Its mountains are broken up into three separate areas: Snowazy Peak, Mt. Ifrit, and Purity Valleys. The Janam desert lies north of Clockwork town to the east and Seraphic Park is a part of Verdure City. Its most noted cities include Kyhoto which is known for its port, Verdure City which is known for its Game Corner, and Frostburg which is known for its Ice Palace.

The Ophoore region is also home to two gangs, Team Topaz and Team Amethyst. Both of which formed from Chios descendents. Team Topaz believes in the divinity of the light, seek to reestablish the kingdom in the image of Asad, and primarily use Psychic and Fire type Pokemon. They have currently taken control of Verdure City where Asad had controlled during the war. Team Topaz will do anything to bring their plans to fruition and that includes force recruiting members.

Team Amethyst is the counterpart of Team Topaz. Not only do they believe in resurrecting the kingdom in the image of Jerard, but they also believe that Team Topaz's methods are cruel and vile. They often perform missions that just simply mess with those of Team Topaz and because of that the two often engage in battle regardless of where they may be. Team Amethysr primarily uses Dark, Ghost, and Poison type Pokemon; and their headquarters is in Everdark City.

Both teams seek to uncover the events of Heaven's Peak and the only clues they have are of the Heaven shard and the Lilith shard. Both of which were said to contain a power that matches those of the Chios gods.

    Character Name: Leon Slade
    Gender: Male
    Age: 17

    Appearance:
Leon looks basically just like any other teenage boy, with his own flavor. He stands at a moderately tall height; 6'0" even. His body type is mostly thin, though he does have a bit of muscle on his frame. It isn't anything as spectacular as a six pack though. Leon's skin is mostly pale, though he does have a slight tan from working outdoors most days. Leon also has stormy blue eyes. For his hair, Leon enjoys the shaggy look. His hair falls about an inch or two past his ears, and has this flip effect at the end that makes it look like he always has ski-cap hair.

For clothing, Leon likes to go for somewhat a bad boy look. He wears a blank tank-top that is cut like a square on his chest instead of your average circle. On top of that, Leon also wears a heavy cloth jacket. It's almost like the type that high school jocks wear, except it has a large red lion head on the back instead of a school logo. It also zips instead of buttons up. The color scheme of the jacket is red and black, with the only red on the lion. The inside of the jacket is made of an almost silk material. As far as pants go, Leon wears a pair of dark blue jeans that have tears at the bottom and on the knees. His shoes are a simple pair of black high top Converse, but they look almost as old and worn as his jeans. Leon has a black shoulder bag as his sole accessory, and wouldn't have it any other way.

Some things that can make it easy to identify Leon are his few scars and single tattoo. He has quite a few scars on his right arm from an accident while he was working outside. This is the main reason he wears his jacket, because otherwise Leon gets very hot. So he mostly wears his jacket around people, and takes it off when he's working or alone. The tattoo he has matches the lion on his back, only it is in black ink instead of red. It's located on his left shoulder and is fairly large, but one would only be able to see it if he wasn't wearing his jacket.

    Personality:
Leon takes quite a bit after the meaning of his name, in all truth. He's a very honorable guy, even if he first might not come across like that. He first might come across as a man who doesn't really care either way, but he does. Leon is just the type that doesn't show how he feels, and often keeps his emotions bottled up inside himself. In any case, Leon detests liars and thieves, and they often make him mad enough to where he will show his anger. Leon also holds himself with quite a bit of dignity, and it can sometimes come across as confidence that gets him in trouble. He won't back down from a battle (especially if he's been egged on or his pride has been poked at), and that sometimes gets him into trouble because he isn't too happy when he loses.

Coming from a house of quite a few younger siblings, Leon often takes on the leadership role and holds himself with a bit of seniority around people he deems fit. Most of the time he acts this way around younger people (especially children, because he found they respect him more if he does) but occasionally he'll use it to rebuke an adult. Leon is a very well mannered boy though, and most often he won't disrespect his elders. Leon is also a pretty bold person, and wouldn't hesitate when it came to helping someone out (unless they really annoyed him). He dislikes it when people are overly arrogant, and he also just dislikes people he deems stupid. Yes, Leon can be harsh, but he has found in life that it has helped him.

Leon has also been taken as a misunderstood person. He has had several bad run ins with people (for the most part), which obviously contributes to his disliking of many and his harshness. He has been misunderstood all his life, and also often feels that he isn't good enough for anyone. Because of this, Leon feels sometimes like he would wish to cause a great destruction that would make people notice him, but he knows it is a horrible thing to d and therefore pushes the thought away. Internally, he is a conflict of emotions that might one day rage out of control, no matter how hard he may try to discourage them.

    History:
Leon was born as the first child in his family in the Sinnoh region. He was born in the warm place of Sunyshore City . Both his parents worked and therefore he grew up with a fairly good life. His mother was a marine Pokémon biologist, and often went on explorations to study Pokémon of the sea and discover new ones. His father worked as a simple fisherman, but the catch was often good and he made quite a bit of money in that job. Leon mostly grew up with the sea, because often times his parents would bring him along when they had to work. Finally, when he was two, his parents had another kid.

It wasn't soon after that Leon began to feel unwanted by his parents. They seemed to focus on spending much of their time with his new little brother. They even went as far as taking his brother out to sea, but leaving Leon home with a nanny. His parents said that they couldn't always take him along, but Leon didn't believe them even at a young age such as that. A few more years passed, and on his sixth year alive his parents had another child, but this time it was a girl. Leon didn't like this one bit, and it was then that he began to distance himself from his family (mostly his parents though).

Soon Leon began to go to school, and it wasn't long after that than he began to feel forgotten. His parents would still take his little brother with them when they went out, but Leon was excluded. He didn't see the fairness in this, and instead focused majorly on his studies to make his parents proud of him. He got very good grades at school, and began to take a big liking in the Pokémon Battling contests, but his parents would never come to his competitions. He grew up as one of the best battlers at his school, but still his parents focused nearly all of their time on his siblings and less on him.

Around the age of eight, his parents had their final child. It was another boy, but by that time Leon could care less if he got any more brothers or sisters or even aliens. He continued with his grades and battling over the years. By the time he reached fifteen, he began to dream of leaving his hometown and starting a journey on his own. Leon knew he could do it, but he just wasn't sure if his parents would let him. Upon asking, he was quickly denied. His parents claimed that they wanted him to be around to help them out around the house, and he did just that. He worked as hard as he could at each and every task, in hopes that one day he could explore on his own.

Just a few months before his sixteenth birthday, Leon was on a job with his mother helping her collect different species of Sharpedo for their research. One attacked him, and he got the scars on his arm as a result. Leon continued to attempt to prove himself, even though he wasn't in the best condition. Finally his parents agreed to let him go, but it was mostly only because his brother was old enough to help around the house. Leon packed and left before they could change their minds, and headed right away towards the Ophoore region.

Bond of Flame: Your SU was a bit borderline Stu :x Your character has a striking resemblence to another character wheither you may or may not be aware. I will accept you, however, because your sample is satisfactory and that bumps you over the line. I also believe that you will be able to RP him well. Please do not dissapoint me ^-^

And yes, Gold you are reserved.

The above is a link to a map that I made. It was done by paint so it is very fancy, but meh... a visual is better than none. I will put this in the OOC thread when it comes out.

And to Gold: Erm, the sample was probably the best part :/ Sadly that's not a good thing. Your SU was way too lackluster in detail and even the sample was only decent, so you are rejected :x I'd suggest looking through Alter Ego's guide: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=116591

Hopefully you'll be able to make some use out of it.

    Name: Aaron Lucifer

    Age: 15

    Gender: Male

    Goal: Both, I suppose.

Personality: Aaron is a kind person; honestly trusting anyone he's just met until they've given him reason not to trust them further. He is fairly bright and very good at adapting to the situation; at the same time, though, he isn't good at putting a plan into action. He's not a very violent person and as a result, he finds any form of fighting difficult at best. He enjoys other things in life, such as creating other ways to use Pokémon. As such, he has always wanted to be a coordinator. At the same time, however, he is pressured by his father to compete in gym battles and cannot pick which he should do as a result. Aaron is an artistic person with a gift for bringing out the best of a situation. He finds beauty within nature and likes to draw. He is an artist with a gift for detail. This carries over to all aspects of his life as art is his judge for everything.

Despite his name, meaning light, Aaron is actually a fan of the dark type. He likes their unique abilities and respects their power. In contrast, however, Aaron doesn't like bug types or fighting types very much. Bug types scare him, as he is not good with things that have more than four legs and fighting types just seem too brutish for his taste. He enjoys using odd moves to unique ends for interesting results.

Aaron's a nervous person and not very good with people in general. He avoids people unless he has to but at the same time he is always eager to meet new people. He's a deceptive person who always likes to keep his eye on the details. He can be nervous at times, but he truly does try to be brave. The problem is, he isn't very good at standing up for himself. As such, he was picked on at an early age. He distanced himself from people as a result.

Appearance: Aaron stands at an even 5' 10". He weighs roughly 145 pounds and isn't too badly built. His ruffled brown hair is free without a hat to cover them and it flows free in the sky, though it's strange style isn't natural. Hair gel is a close friend of his to give that result. His dark brown eyes match his hair and fit fairly well with his slightly tanned skin. His fingers are small, almost girlish; a direct consequence of his artistic side.

While Aaron is big on fashion, he honestly finds it pointless at the same time. Instead, he prefers to go with a simple outfit for just around town and such. He wears a black t-shirt, outlining his body faintly. He likes the color black a fair bit, as it is just a great color in his opinions. On top of this shirt, he wears a black jacket, further continuing his seeming obsession with the color. In contrast, however, he wears almost bleached jeans, along with a belt for pokeballs, despite not actually being a trainer. He also occasionally wears a pair of black sunglasses, as he doesn't like to be blinded for even a second in the world; he might miss something important.

History: Aaron was born in Fallarbor Town in the Hoenn region. His father worked closely with Professor Cozmo, studying the meteors that were discovered in Meteor Falls near his home. Aaron on the other hand preferred to play back near the town. He would play around in the fields nearby with the Spinda or over near the lakes on the other side of town. One day, however, he decided to go after his father, who was busy at the Falls. It was here that a more traumatic event of his life occurred. As he was almost to the falls, a miracle in itself, he called for his dad. His father came running at the sound of his six year old son's voice. Aaron's cry had another result, however. It caused a rock slide. His father was caught in the slide. Aaron rushed to his father's side, only to be sent home by Professor Cozmo.

His father miraculously survived, but paralyzed from the waist down. He wasn't able to go anywhere without the use of a wheelchair, and as such, they moved. They ended up in another area of the Hoenn region, Lilycove City. It was here that Aaron first took up art. His reason was simple; they had gone to an art museum. His father had loved the art in the city museum and Aaron took notice of this. With his mother's help, he bought a sketchbook and some pencils. For several days he did nothing but draw and then finally, he showed them to his dad. His father seemed quite pleased at Aaron's drawings; they appeared to lighten his mood. Aaron kept drawing for his father; he drew whatever he could find.

Another thing that Aaron found incredible during his time in Lilycove was the Pokémon contests. He was amazed by the artistic grace which the Pokémon moved with, the brilliance with which they used their moves; it was incredible. From that day on, he swore he would be a coordinator just like them. The problem was, his father was a huge fan of Pokémon battles and asked him if he would ever take up fighting. Aaron, being against fighting and violence after that day when he was six, said no. His father seemed awfully down at this. Aaron felt bad in disappointing his father and eventually agreed. Ever since, Aaron has been waiting for the day when he could start his journey…

RP Sample: From A New Professor In Town

    Spoiler:

At gold: It is much better, however, it's still littered with grammatical errors and just a bit underpar. I can't give you another chance, however, don't let this deter you! Keep trying and maybe next RP you can join :)

At Eclipse: The SU overall was most definitely on par. A few places here and there that could have been fixed and the history was a bit mehish. Overall though, I can not reject you. Accepted.

    Character Name: Keaton Yoruno

    Gender: Male

    Age: 14

Appearance: He is short and stands 5 feet tall. His long shaggy light brown hair appears to have blonde streaks in it. The Blonde streaks are caused from sun exposure. He has a build that is in shape, but not buff in the least. But he is quite fast. His skin is tanned because of time in the sun. He has everyday blue jeans with an unusual amount of pockets for denim pants. They have the original two in front and two in back they also have one on the outside area of each leg about at the end of his finger tips. The extra pockets are also not normal pockets; they bulge out in a rounded rectangle that could fit at least three pokeballs in their largest form.

For his shirt he wears a brown long sleeve shirt although it is hidden under his slightly lighter brown hoodie with a print of a Noctowl's V- shaped feather horns. His last name originated from the Japanese word for Noctowl. He also wears a dark brown hat commonly referred to as a biker hat to keep the sun out of his eyes. His shoes are nothing special, being common gray sneakers. His mom also bought him a brown and tan half cloak half poncho with the brown being the base color and the tan circling the bottom of it in a zigzag pattern, it is also surprisingly sturdy. He keeps all his items and spare items of clothing in a bag he calls his mail bag, which has a picture of a Noctowl on it. The bag has a strap that goes over his shoulder and connects to the bag that has one big pocket with another in front of the first closed by a flap with a buckle to lock it in place.

Personality: He is the kind of guy who would look at in the rain and think, "What's he so happy about". Now I'm not saying he likes the rain, although being outside is his favorite place to be, I'm just saying he is always happy, even when things are going bad. Now I'm not saying he won't hold a grudge either, because he'll hold on to it like his life depends on it. Being outside, he loves to play with Pokémon, and flying types are his favorite he cares for Pokémon and loves all of them. His least favorite are ground types, because he disrespects them for being weak against flying types. If you haven't noticed, he is a bit childish and that leads to him being hyper and quite frankly, annoying to most. He also can become overconfident and bloat about his things and when he wins, you don't want to be the looser. He will drive you nuts about he's so good you're so not, "Wanna rematch? I'm sure you're not gonna win, but it might help you get better." Is something no one would be surprised to hear him say. And if you beat him he won't pout but strive to beat you later.

He is also quite extreme. If you pick a fight with him, you won't leave till he's done with you, whether he loses or wins. And he also will get aggressive if you pick on his friends or Pokémon. Possibly the only time he will get serious is when you put his friends in danger or oppose them in any way. And on another note, if you feed him, you've made a wrong move. He will eat you out of house and home.

History: He was born and raised in Twinleaf Town. He lived with his mom and dad, two older brothers, and himself. His parents had only two Pokémon between them and they where a male and female Noctowl. The Noctowl had two eggs that were given to his brothers before he was born. When he was born and of age the two Pokémon wouldn't lay more eggs. He had no other choice but to wait for an opening to receive Pokémon somewhere else. His dad encouraged battling which his oldest brother does. But his mom encouraged contests which the other brother pursued. His parents influenced him a lot on each path. He loved both and set off to do them both.

Once when he was five he was playing in the woods with a young Pidgey. This Pidgey also had a habit of following him around till he was seven then evolved and went away. When all of a sudden a Sandslash appeared and looked like he wanted a fight. Keaton knew this and avoided it while still playing with the Pidgey, feeding it and such. The Sandslash got ticked that they were ignoring him and attacked the Pidgey. It fell to the ground barley conscious and chirping wildly. Keaton turned toward the Pokémon and shot it a nasty look. The Sandslash turned and walked away laughing. Keaton, being the overprotective idiot he is, ran up to the Pokémon and kicked it in the leg. Sandslash looked back and shot him an evil look. Keaton ran back to Pidgey but tripped and fell as Sandslash stood above him. Sandslash was ready to swipe before a Pidgeot swooped down with an air slash responding to the calls of its baby Pidgey. The Sandslash was knocked out by the attack and multiple gusts. He and the Pidgey got away safely. Keaton has been skeptical around ground types ever since.

When he was chosen to be one to receive Pokémon his dad had a talk with him. He said if they don't have a flying type to choose from, to pick a ground type. If the opponent knew his game of flying Pokémon he would have a Pokémon good against Pokémon good against flying types. He thought about it then reluctantly agreed. He was confident they would offer a flying type. This is why he eventually chooses Phanpy.

    Preferred Starter: Phanpy

    Ribbons, Badges, or Both: Both

Sample RP: It seems that i always choose this.

If any of the other RPers who have reservations drop out I will gladly take their place, I haven't been in a good RP in a while and this one looks right up my alley :D

    @Monochrome: Will do ^-^

@Sandeon: Erm, their were quite a few run-on sentence and grammar errors. The history was also a little iffy after you changed it, but it's not overly terrible. If you just fix the errors and redo some sentence flow... I may accepted you, however, for now you are pending. I'm not sure if you're rushing things or not (It's just how quickly you changed the history), but please take your time... you have enough of it.

Also, King is leaving for a while so I am giving him tell a day after he returns. The next chapter will be up tomorrow. RESERVATIONS ARE DUE TOMORROW OR THEY WILL BE DROPPED.

I edited the SU, I took out all the gramical errors that I found and things that I thought could be written better I redid.

Eh... I'll accept you. And Swan's reservation has been dropped so Monochrome can sign up for it.

    First chapter!

    Firstar Town:

    Number of posts: 1-2

Description: A small suburban town at the western most point of the Ophoore region. Despite having access to the sea, the town has just recently built a port in order to attract tourists. In addition to the port they have also just built an inn where your character will be waking up from their first night in town. Although, mostly a country-side atmosphere can be found, there is a museum that you may enjoy visiting. This museum is home to a wide gallery of rare evolution items. Finally before leaving town you will visit professor Cypress and receive your starter pokemon, a pokedex, and 5 poke balls. She has located her laboratory towards the edge of town and near the beginning of route 1.

Sorry it's a little lack-luster >.< The following posts will be MUCH more entertaining.

Leon had slept the whole boat ride to the first leg of his journey. The boat had sort of made him seasick, so sleep was his first opt out of the feeling. Now that the voice over the intercom had woke him up, Leon was sitting with his back to the wall clutching a pillow to his stomach, trying to ignore how the boat was still rocking in the waves. It was odd in his mind, being seasick. He had been on thousands of boats before and never had a single problem, but now the most (well, it was at the time anyway) important boat journey he had taken came up, and he was turning green. It was a bit annoying to him, but Leon tried not to focus on that. Maybe he was just nervous. That was probably it, but he wasn't for sure it was.

Finally the boat ceased its rocking, and Leon let out a breath of relief. When he still felt a bit sick after, Leon figured that it wasn't the boat and it was, in fact, his nerves. He didn't like that, not a bit. Leon sighed and tried to ignore it because it sort of hurt his manly pride. To not think about it, Leon went and grabbed his pack and double checked that he got everything. Then he headed out of his room and towards the port that was located in the town of…Leon paused. What was the town called again? he wondered vaguely. Leon decided that he'd try to find that out first, and then he'd go about his business.

It took him about five minutes to find the name of the town (which, by the way, was called Firstar Town) and now he was hunting for a quick breakfast. It wasn't too early in the day, but Leon knew that there would still be breakfast being served somewhere around town. He had made up his mind that after the breakfast the lab would come, and then the rest would follow.

Soon enough he found a small little diner that had a giant fish on the front of it, sort of going with the whole port theme of the area of town he was in. A teensy smile appeared on Leon's lips as he spotted the fish, and then moments later he was pushing the door open and smelling the sweet, sweet food. It made his stomach churn, but this time it was the good kind of churning. Leon settled down in a booth, and moments later a waitress came and handed him a menu. He ordered a pretty basic breakfast of bacon and eggs, and then passed his time staring out the window whilst he waited for his food.

Moments later it was placed in front of him. The waitress also brought a glass of water, just because he hadn't ordered a drink, and walked away. Leon ate his food simply enjoying the soft clink of dishes being washed and the hum of some radio music. He finished his plate in a few minutes, and took a swig of water to wash the final bites down. Then he dropped the cost on the table, along with a tip for the waitress, and grabbed his pack and left. Now it was time for him to head to the lab.

Leon was about to go there, when he had a sudden odd feeling in his gut. He frowned, wondering what exactly it could be, but then remembered something that would probably be pretty important. He was a day early. Leon had purposefully planned that so he would have a day to explore the area and such, but somehow that had escaped him from the time he had slept to where he was now. Leon resisted the urge to smack his forehead, and instead took a quick look at the town. Or more like the nearby buildings. He spotted an inn a few yards away, and remembered that he had planned on staying there for just one night, and then heading to the lab early the next morning. Leon sighed and shook his head, mentally berating himself for his error, and then headed towards the inn instead of the lab.

It didn't take too long for him to get checked in, so once he had Leon headed to his room and set down his pack almost immediately. The check-in person had told him that breakfast was from five in the morning to about nine thirty, and they mostly offered muffins and the like, but it was alright with him. Leon planned on grabbing a muffin or something before he departed as his breakfast tomorrow. He had packed a couple of sandwiches and things for the journey, and pulled them out of his pack to set them in the small mini-fridge so they wouldn't spoil overnight.

By the time he finished that, it was roughly one in the afternoon. He wasn't sure what he'd do, but in the end Leon headed out to the town to sight see before he went to bed. He ended up arriving back at the inn around eight or so and promptly showered and got ready for bed. He did want to be early tomorrow, after all. The early bird always got the best Pokémon, or so he had heard.

The next day he woke up fairly early at about seven or so. He packed the sandwiches for the road, made his bed (just because he was polite, even though he figured the maid would strip it), and then he headed to the lobby. Leon saw the small breakfast bar, and grabbed a blueberry muffin (they were pretty big muffins, so that was a plus) as his breakfast. Then he thanked the check-in guy and bade him farewell. Leon didn't really figure he'd be staying around the town anymore, so there was no real point in making a long conversation with the man. With a bit of a lighter step, Leon headed towards the lab.

It didn't take him too long to get there, considering the lab was close to the edge of town and near the first route. Leon didn't see anyone else around the lab either, so he figured that he must be the first (or one of the first, anyway) person there. He knocked on the door and waited, wondering what Pokémon would be there. Moments later there was a click, and then the door opened to reveal a female professor with a small smile on her face.

"Hi…" Leon began, though he did sound a bit awkward and uncomfortable. "I'm Leon. I'm…er…one of the new trainers."

"Oh!" she said. She opened the door a bit wider and told him to come in. Leon did so, following her into the rather nice (though sort of cluttered) lab. He looked around silently as he followed her to a desk located a bit towards the back of the room. There were Pokeballs on it, each seemingly empty. Professor Cypress smiled.

    "So…which one do I take?"

"Whichever you please," she said kindly.

Leon nodded in a bit of understanding, and then randomly picked up one. Professor Cypress's smile faltered, but only slightly. Leon still noticed though. "Is there something wrong with this one?"

"Oh, well it's just not one that we had originally picked, but I'm sure it will be alright."

    "Ah," Leon muttered in understanding.

"Before I forget," Professor Cypress said, more muttering to herself. "Here you go!" She pulled a square object and five small spheres from inside her desk. "This is a Pokedex," she declared, lifting the hand with the square thing on it a bit. "And these are obviously Pokeballs." Professor Cypress handed them over to him. "Those are to help you get started on your journey."

"Thank you," Leon said in a polite tone. "Is that all I'll be needing?"

Professor Cypress laughed softly. "Well, it might not be but it's all you'll need to get started with. Good luck!"

"Thanks again," Leon muttered, turning away from her and starting to the door. He carefully put the Pokeballs away and tucked the Pokedex in one of the outside pockets of his bag. Throwing a bit of a smile at the woman, Leon exited the room and shut the door quietly behind him. Then, he looked at the Pokeball that was still firmly grasped in his hand. He glanced around, and then pressed the button. Moments later, a little…thing…was sitting in front of him curiously.

Leon brought out his Pokedex as the little Pokémon yawned and looked about. It took a moment, but soon the Pokémon was identified as Larvitar. Leon smiled at his Pokémon and said a light hello so he wouldn't startle it. Larvitar cocked its head to the side and looked at him curiously. Leon checked his Pokedex again, and soon found that this Larvitar was apparently a male.

"So, I guess you're my Pokémon now, huh?" Leon murmured, still observing his little Pokémon.

"Lar," Larvitar said in an almost grave voice. The corners of Leon's lips twitched into a brief smile.

"I guess I like you. Suppose we'd best head out, huh?" he said, then stood from his crouched position and looked at the impending route. "This will be exciting."

"Lar," Larvitar said again, still in a rather grave voice. Leon snorted. His Pokémon seemed rather optimistic already.

((OOC: You can shorten my name XD I know it's horribly long >>))
