The Ophoore region

[Snow Phoenix]

There is still room for one more RPer.

PLOT

The Ophoore region has always been a secluded area, but things are changing and Ophoore is in desperate need of travelers from the larger islands. To the north are the Pokémon league and the frigid mountains. To the south are the warm beaches and islands of the Heart Islands. The area has an interesting history of early settlers creating two kingdoms and the war between them. Two of the islands historians have always believed in the secrets behind the legends of the two and have formed gangs around them. These gangs have been newly created and are seeking members.

Six lucky people are about to receive their first Pokémon. Two of those people have been invited from the other regions to a hotel in Firstar Town to promote business. There the professor Ruby Scarlet has given them one Pokémon each once again to help promote foreign travel to the Ophoore region by having those two travel around the region and enter the Ophoore League or Grand Festival. Another two of those have joined one of the two gangs of Ophoore, Team Topaz. Team Topaz is a gang that takes its base in the Former Light Kingdom Verdure City. Team Topaz's goal to cover the planet in the light of the Light Kingdom of long ago. The last two of those has joined the Team Topaz rival, Team Amethyst. Team Amethyst's base is in the former Dark Kingdom Everdark City. Team Amethyst's goal conflicts the goal of Team Amethyst; they want to bury the region in the darkness of the Dark Kingdom. For an unknown reason both gangs have sent the new members to search for ribbons and badges.

Character Name: Bobby Baker

Gender: Male

Age: 17 (Has runaway from home)
Appearance: Bobby has a mess of curly black hair that falls a little over his eyes which are a deep dark brown, like chocolate. He has a tan complextion but he is small and skinny. He barely stands at 5ft and 5in and has just enough muscle to move around. He wears a dark brown hoodie that is fraying at the cuffs and a black t-shirt with a skull on it. He also wears dark blue dusty pants with dark brown shoes topping it off.

Personality: Bobby is a hyperactive boy at heart but has trouble going against the grain. He has lived a realivly sheltered life so he dosent' know how to handle most stressful situations. He does however think clearly when under stress and can see the meanings within the meaning. He likes to come off tough and ready to a fight, but he is actually a gentle boy who likes to make friends wherever he goes, even if he is a bit shy.

History: Bobby was born in the Johto region in New Bark Town where he led a sheltered life. His parents wouldn't let him go on a Pokemon Journey or even be near Pokemon as they thought he would hurt himself. Eventually Bobby got fed up with this life and ran from home going straight for Goldonrod City. However life on his own was hard and Bobby almost gave up and was getting ready to come home when he met a recruter from Team Amethyst. The recruiter promised him food and a place in the new kingdom they were forming. Deciding that it couldn't be all that bad, Bobby came with him to the Ophoore Region.

Charmander's and Grimer's attacks met at the same time sending the Pokemon backwards. "Looks like your Charmander has gotten stronger..." The Rocket said noticing that Grimer went back farther than Charmander.

"You got that right! Now we'll beat you even faster this time!" Bobby roared his anger fueling his cockiness.

"Hm we'll see about that won't we Ekans!" The grunt sent out a large purple snake that hissed "Ekansssss" when it came out.

"What is that?" Bobby wondered as he took out the Pokedex. "Ekans the snake pokemon." the woman's cool voice said, "It sneaks through grass without making a sound and strikes unsuspecting prey from behind."

Noticing that Bobby was distracted the Grunt took action and said "Ekans use Glare! Grimer use Mud-Slap!" "Mander!" Charmander cried as it became frozen in fear from the Glare and in pain as it was pelted with Mud-Slap.

"Charmander!" Bobby cried. "I'v got to get this Pokeball open!" Bobby pulled and tugged, but the ball was wedged shut. Finally out frustration, and what any guy would do, Bobby threw the ball at the cave wall which, ironicly released the seal.

"Allright now we're in action!" Bobby said with a battle grin on his face. "Go Mankey!"
The pig monkey pokemon lept into action, relieved that it was out of it's Pokeball. "Mankey use Focus Energy! Charmander use Smokescreen!" The Pokemon complied with Mankey building energy and Charmander belching out thick black smoke.

"That's not gonna stop us!" the Rocket yelled confident. "Grimer suck up the smoke! Ekans use Poison Sting on Mankey!" Grimer inhaled the thick smoke, while Ekans shot out thin purple lines at Mankey.

"Mankeeeey!" Mankey cried as the purple lines connected. When Mankey got back up on it's feet, Bobby noticed that there was a sickly look about his eyes. 'Probally nothing...' Bobby thought. "Charmander use Ember on Ekans! Mankey go use Scratch on Grimer!" The Rocket was ready however and made Grimer use Pound to retaliate the Scratch and Ekans used Poison Sting to reflect Ember.

"Your attacks are too predictible!" the Rocket roared mockingly.

"He's right..." Bobby muttered, "There has to be something we can do..." Bobby saw Mankey getting worse and called him over to take an Antidote. When he was done, Bobby saw the TM Brock had givin him. "I wonder..."

Bobby picked up the TM and held it toward Mankey. The TM flashed and turned from its gray color to a pure white color. "Guess I can use it anymore." Bobby said prepared now with their new move.

"You ladies done over there?" the Rocket yelled goadingly.

"Yep we're done. With this match." Bobby said confident. "Mankey use Rock Tomb!" Mankey pulled the new move off flawlessly by buring Ekans in a pile of rubble. The poor pokemon was stuck.

"Ekans!" the Grunt cried.

"He's the least of your worries. Charmander Ember!" Charmander shot out its fireball and Grimer not knowing what to do took a direct hit, knocking it out.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The Rocket cried knowing he was defeated. Bobby came up and took the key to the cage releasing all the Pokemon inside.

In the back he saw Clefairy, who's eyes widened when it saw him. She jumped into his arms happy to be away from the Rocket. Bobby saw the Clefairy eyeing his black stone. "Pretty huh?" Bobby said.

Suddenly a shadow lept at Bobby. "That's my Clefairy!" the Rocket roared. The Clefairy lept in front of Bobby taking the black stone with her.

"Clefairy don't!" Bobby yelled as Clefairy become engulfed in a white light. When the light faded in Clefairy's place was a pokemon that looked like Clefairy but bigger and with wings. "What is that?" Bobby said pointing his Pokedex at it.

"Clefable the fairy pokemon and the evolved form of Clefairy." the female voice said, "Rarely seen by people, it is said to be drawn by the full moon to play at deserted lakes."

"Wow this Clefable's gonna make me rich!" The Rocket said, practically drooling at the thought.

Clefable on the other hand had other ideas. She started waving one finger back and forth until a giant Flamethrower came out. The torched Rocket took off running from the powerful trainer and the newly evolved Clefabel.

Laughing Bobby said "Good job Clefable! You sure sent him packing." Clefable nodded and started walking the way the cage was going. "Hey where you going?" Bobby asked running to keep up.

The Clefable had showed Bobby to the exit of Mt. Moon. "Oh wow thank you so much Clefable!" "Clefable!" the former Clefairy said, obviously thanking Bobby for helping her out of a dire situation. Its eyes began glowing and the seal on Butterfree's Pokeball was released. "Oh wow! Thanky you so much Clefable! Take care now! I hope to see you again!" Bobby said walking out of the cave, "And if I see Team Rocket again, they won't know what hit them!" Clefable waved good bye to her friend as Bobby walked onto Route 4.

This looks good, I'd delve a whole lot more into the light and dark kingdom's though. What were they for? How did they become to be? Their demise? You'd need to explain a bit more IMO, however I'm going to signup this would be the first time of me doing a RPG like this. Ugh this isn't my best history and for that I am sorry. Oh btw having a password like "Have Fun" isn't the best idea, it doesn't mean people are still going to follow the rules =/

Role: Team Amethyst

Name: Nicholas Tremblay

Gender: Male

Age: 22 years old

Appearance: Nicholas has a mop of blonde hair that is spiked up with jel it stands up straight and has a few hairs lean a tiny bit down on his forehead. He has blue eyes, which are about a average size you would find.(He usually wears a pair of sunglasses so you won't see them often) He has a grey hoop in his right eyebrow. His head is round shaped, his nose and mouth are average and he has an extremely gruff looking face with many hairs not shaved. He also smokes so you can see a cigarette with him usually with a trademark scowl that is usually plastered over his face.

He has a slightly tanned skin and a well muscled build. He stands at around six feet. He wears a white wife beater. He has a few tatoos on his arms (One a red Dragon, another a pair Dice). He has various scars visible on his arms (Each from different fights and mainly since his skin scars easily).

After his White wifebeater Nicholas wears a black belt with skull buckle. Underneath his belt Nicholas has a pair of black jeans that hug his waist but loosen up down his legs. They are ripped and worn out in various locations however they look perfectely fine at the bottom before his shoes. Nicholas wears a pair of Black shoes with black laces and white crew socks. As far as accessories go: Nicholas has one silver neclace with a mayan calendar pendant with red coral surrounding it, one silver watch and one ring with a small diamond in it, he currently wears it on his right index finger.

Of course if Team Amethyst has a special uniform on missions Nicholas would wear it. Also during cold weather he wears a black jacket and tuque.

Personality: If you took one look at Nicholas it would scream: Punk that is too stupid for school, doesn't abide by the rules or doesn't have any respect for anybody but himself. Well you got some of it right. Nicholas is generally a bored soul, looking for excitement in his life. In general Nicholas is a bit of a antisocial, prefering to lone away from other people. He is a tough nut to crack, considering the majority of a response you can get from him is a "snarl". He is however very intelligent and easily pre judges others in this case he also doesn't trust anybody easily because he knows better then to do that.

Nicholas also has a very short temper and a smart mouth and this tends for him to get into trouble easily with a lot of people. Nicholas is also bery emotional, though his emotions don't usually get into his thinking patern, they certainly do cause distractions. Nicholas is very independent and likes to work alone, when with a partner he usually tries to do the majority of the work not because he wants to show off more because he likes to consider himself as the "leader". Nicholas in battle is very aggressive, but tactical. He tends to think a litte before he decides to have his pokemon go knock someones brains out.

History: Nicholas had a pretty avearge life when he was younger, except for the fact that his father was off to jail for breaking into cars and other various crimes. Nicholas being antisocial by nature, didn't have many friends as a little boy. When he was about ten years old the court ordered his mother to take herself and Nicholas in to see a counsellor, Nicholas had a little anger problem at school with some local bullies and it didn't end very well for them while Nicholas' mom was an Alchoholic.

So through out the course of Elementary school, Nicholas was left to be his old antisocial self. When High School hit Nicholas found some more interests mainly the fight club, he was doing pretty well getting good grades and he had a couple of friends for once. Nicholas was gullible and stupid for the fact he was too blindsinded for the fact that he had someone "truly" there for him that he was taken into a road full of drugs and street violence. Nicholas always seemed to have a natural sense when it came to fighting so he was a name on the street to be reckoned with. Of course Nicholas continued his education until he heard about Team Amethyst, once he heard about them he decided to join them for their cause.

RPG sample: This is one I did on Serebii forums for my RPG called Angel's Requiem

Nathaniel was busy in the fields, somehow he had gotten himself into the trouble of preparing a small town's crops for the upcoming harvest season. The wheat was golden and ready to be harvested Nathaniel had agreed to do all three of the town's fields and he was only starting on the first one. His hair was wet and sweat was dripping all down his face as he continued to slice down the wheat with a sickle and place it into a bag one of the villigers provided for him.

"You know, this deal would go a lot faster if you just used some of that dam Crystal magic of yours." The Redheaded Angel who was currently looking like he was sitting in a imaginary recliner in the middle of the air pointed out black feathered wings flapping. He also conjured up a flame in his palm to simulate the effect of magic.

"Phoenix, I agreed to do this for these people that have offered me hospitality for the last little while. Not mentioning havng to put up with a smart mouthed arrogant little brat of a Angel. The least I could do is offer a bit of work for the bunches that they gave us. It's just being a good guest really." Nathaniel replied in a "Phoenix you know this is worng kind of tone". Phoenix had already gotten used to Nathaniel's warm hearted lectures and was getting pretty bored Nathaniel though good on the battlefield seemed to annoy the redheaded Angel in every other prospect.

"I'm just saying use some speed magic on yourself and get this job for these people done a lot quicker. Why are you even helping these Grelian's out anyways? Isn't your country currently at war with them? Heck maybe if you burn down a town you might be able to get yourself back into the Knights. How does that sound?" Phoenix questioned, he knew he had hit a weak spot in Nathaniel considering Phoenix knew about Nathaniel's history with the knights. Nathaniel had regretted his actions for awhile now and Phoenix found the most fun ways of tormenting him.

"Phoenix don't ever say such things again! This discussion ends now, your helping me harvest this wheat get to it now." Nathaniel's previously maternal voice turned into one much more gruff commanding and angry. This is when Phoenix knew when to stop his pestering because that's when Nathaniel got very serious. Phoenix never saw past this stage of Nathaniel's anger but considering he killed his own squad of knights it must have been something very serious and deadly. The Angel got down from his perch in the sky and attempted to grab the wheat, no go. Phoenix' body was just to short for this kind of work. Nathaniel was still working however, to distracted to see that his Angel wasn't helping him at all.

After many hours of work Nathaniel was done harvesting all the wheat he was sweat ridden and tired. Considering Phoenix did absolutely no work he was still lounging about in the sky. It was about noon and Nathaniel had starting at the break of dawn so he made pretty good time. Nathaniel and his Angel continued into the village, the smell brimming of freshly baked goods that had come from the bakery, maybe Nathaniel would get some later on. Nathaniel continued into town, following the big path that everybody used, it was quite worn out but it always made the job done. Nathaniel passed by the Smith shop, Phoenix decided to part his ways there.

"I'll see ya later Nathaniel, the Smith said he wanted some help smithing some tools for the people in town incase of bandits and the like." Phoenix yelled out to his master, flying into the Smith shop. Nathaniel stood dumbfounded, Phoenix was going to help somebody? Couldn't be possible. So he looked into the store to see Phoenix chatting it up with a Angel, blonde hair wearing a white blouse and little skimpy blue skirt. It was really cute seeing Phoenix with a blush on his face. Nathaniel decided to leave him to his business they would meet up later tonight.

Nathaniel was in the pub when the town's chief came running up to him. He looked quite devastated about something. He almost tripped over his own feet trying to get to him. "Traveller, I have found the most upsetting of news. Kalamir Plainstrider has been spotted in The Mainlands of Geyau, perhaps she is going to be used in their next invasion? Please keep her at bay, I have really appreciated all that you have done for us. Could you please do this little favor?"

While Nathaniel was currently a wanted criminal in The Mainlands of Geyau, perhaps with getting Kalamir Plainstrider he could offer her to the corrupt king. Yes The king would want to be seen like a courageous person that would go out of his way to capture a dangerous criminal like her, that would certainly win his way back into the knights.

"I'll do it! Phoenix and I will set out for her tommorow!" Nathaniel said to the chief with a happy face.

The "Have fun" thing was just to make people actually look at the rules :P. After all I can't make them follow the rules unless I threaten to kick them out, but even still...

One thing I would like to say is that my Co-owner Mira will actually be in the RP as one of the leaders. We're still deciding which one and also I might be starting the Amethyst side of the RP soon because both spots have been filled. It will probably begin either today or tommorow.

Appearance: Ana (as she likes to be called) is an average 18 year old. Not fat nor skinny, she boasts no more than a B-cup. She has long, curly light brown hair, pale skin, and a pair of seductive, light, sky blue eyes. She stands at about 5'4½", and has a slim figure that looks astonishingly beautiful whenever she dresses up.

Somewhat a tomboy, Ana's attire usually consists of a pair of baggy jeans, tennis shoes, a pale green blouse and a baseball cap. She always has her purse with her, which is big enough to fit most of her items, her spare Pokéballs, berries and even some snacks.

Personality: As stated earlier, Ana is [somewhat] a tomboy. She is therefore, to a certain extent, VERY violent. She is a very cheerful girl, but she also likes to put others through physical pain such as pinching, slapping, or even punching (kinky huh?). Besides this, she is very dependable and kind to MOST people and Pokémon.

History: Born in a town of Ophoore region, her family is large, and the knowledge about Pokémon scarce. She was always interested in them, but her father was a farmer/construction worker, and her mother a housewife, and neither knew much about them, or at least not enough to answer Ana's questions. As she grew older though, her curiosity grew larger and then, her oldest brother (who had previously gone out on his own journey), came back.

He came home after being defeated twice by the fourth Gym leader, and only had three badges. He said that he didn't mind and that he realized Pokémon weren't his thing, and before long he became a living encyclopedia to answer all of his little sister's questions, but soon enough, not even he knew the answers to those questions himself. Ana knew that some answers… she had to discover herself!

It was an early morning today, just as every other day since he moved to Pallet Town. He lived in a small shed near Pallet Town's Lab, and worked low wages with Prof. Gary Oak in order to finish his instruction into Pokémon and get the chance to become a Pokémon trainer. The clock finally ticked 7:30 am when Prof. Gary finally walked in to the lab.

"Good morning professor" Cuco said as he put away a duster, and ran to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. "Here you go, espresso with a teaspoon of cream, and two cubes of sugar".

"Thank you" Gary replied and proceeded to turn on his computer, while taking a sip of coffee. "Did you archive the new information we received from Lance regarding the Lake of Rage?"

" Yes, would you like me to go fetch it?" Cuco said as he prepared another cup of coffee for himself and put on a lab coat. But he didn't receive an answer. As he took a sip of coffee he suddenly heard the Professor's voice directed at him.

"How long have you been working here Martinez?"

"About three years professor, why the sudden question?" he replied as he brought the documents to the professor.

"I think you could do something more helpful to me right now than archiving documents and cleaning the lab"…

"What do you mean Proff…" he stopped his train of thought as his gaze directed itself towards the computer monitor and saw an email from Prof. Samuel Oak:
Dear Mr. Martinez,

Congratulations! You've been deemed applicable for the PokéBoard by our staff. Prof. Gary Oak has recommended you for having extensive knowledge in the field of Pokémon treatment and care, and for having the dedication and determination necessary for being a Pokémon Trainer/Coordinator. Enclosed is a ticket for a plane trip to Olivine City's International Airport, that departs from Viridian City. We expect to see you within the next week, or your spot on the PokéBoard will be revoked. Once again, congratulations and have a safe trip!

Arr, the SU is kind of short, but your character is good and I trust that you'll develop your character through out the RP. Also you were suppose to be from another land, but it's okay if you're from Ophoore. Drunk (I hope you don't mind the shortening) you are Accepted. Also I think you'll find it funny when you meet the fourth gym leader. She's almost like Lola from before you quit Titan Academy.

@ Everyone: The role you pick changes the order you get your badges/ribbons. Yes there are contests in this RP. If my accepted SU's would like to try and get ribbons (you can try for both if you want, but still I need to know) post on the RP requesting so. Also I'm adding one part to my sign up sheet and that is only the choice of ribbons, badges, or both.

Chapter 1: Firstar Town​

Description: A small suburban area at Ophoore's most western point. This town has recently made a few new additions in an effort to attract foreign tourists. There is now a new hotel where you are staying at and its most famous tourist site the museum of evolution where evolutionary items are showcased. This town is also home to small laboratory at the edge of town where the professor Ruby Scarlet lives. ​

She is a rather youthful woman standing about five feet and two inches with her wavy dark red hair and a youthful smooth complexion. She looks like she is about fifteen and she attracts many males, however, she remains completely oblivious to their attraction. Her childish personality has made her popular with the villagers and many of her colleagues. She has been asked by one of those colleague to survey the land and record pokemon for him using a device know as a pokedex, but she can't leave and is desperate to give the next few people passing by her own task to complete. TOR Chapter 1: Firststar Town!

The First Step as a [FONT=&quot]Pokémon Researcher! [/FONT]

"Ahhhh" a young lady yawned as she woke up, stretched and got up of a bed in a luxurious hotel.

(Ooc: Does anyone know good SFX for yawning?)

As she walked over to the bathroom sink she thought pleasantly: Now THIS is how a lady should travel, I can't believe my brother took me on a one week field trip to learn how to survive in the wild.

"Brrrr" she shivered at the mere thought of that nightmarish trip, as she washed her face, [but seriously, the bike trip over to Firststar sure was a hassle, especially with no Pokémon to protect me… oh well] she thought.

She took off her baby blue nightgown, and changed into a usual set of baggy jeans with her favorite pale green blouse and baseball cap, and proceeded to head downstairs to have some breakfast.

The breakfast was plain, like most hotels it was just the usual Continental breakfast (French toast, fruit cup, and orange juice). The buffet is sooo… expensive she thought while she looked over to the other tables where elegant, and [probably] important people were elegantly and importantly eating elegant, multicultural breakfast. Chilaquiles! Ana's mouth watered at the sight of green chilaquiles.

NO! She thought violently, a lady should never look at another person's food with such face! Besides, it's too expensive, and I wouldn't finish it! And with that she resumed to eat her own food.

"Whew" she sighed as she held her stomach with one hand and her bike's handlebar with the other. "That breakfast was actually really good, and next is: The Museum of Evolution! ………… Oops" her face turned bright red as soon as she realized that she been speaking out loud and even yelled out that last part. But, of course she was bound to go to the Museum of Evolution! After all, her dream was to become Ophoore's greatest Pokémon researcher, and she needed to know everything there was to know about Pokémon AND MORE, if she wanted to accomplish that.

Upon arriving at the museum's main gate, she parked her green mountain bike and linked it to the bike rack next to the entrance. "All right, time to learn!" she said as she rammed in and accidentally crashed against another girl and as both fell to the floor. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" she yelled out concerned for the other person, as got up and hurried to her to help her get up.

This other girl looked like she could be only fifteen, she had wavy, dark red hair, and her body was so petite Ana thought she needed a sticker that said 'Fragile', she looked a bit shorter than Ana and her face… Ehh?

"Excuse me" Ana said shyly as the other girl was finally getting up, "… by any chance is your name Professor Ruby Scarlet?"

(She knew her from an Ophoore Magazine article showcasing Ophoore's leading authority in Pokémon).

The two held a long conversation while inside the museum, and Prof. Scarlet proved to be a much better source for answers than the museum itself.

"So let me get this straight" the professor said with sternness that Ana hadn't heard before in their conversation. "You want to be a Pokémon researcher, so you're going around gathering as much information as you can from sources such as the museum and myself?"

"Uh huh" Ana blushed a little bit, the way that the professor said it made it seem as if she had used her… Did I? Is that how she feels? Her face blushed a bit. Her skin was very pale, and it was hard for her to hide her feelings such as concern, anger or embarrassment.

"Here!" the professor said with a slight smile as she handed a Pokéball over from her bag to her new acquaintance. "Take it from me; the best research is always done on the field!"

"Wait, are you sure about this? I mean, we barely know each other, and I'm not too familiar with Pokémon, and…"

"I didn't say it was free" Prof. Scarlet interrupted her, "… in return, I want you to help me fill this out!" she said as she took out one of the Pokédex that had been entrusted to her by her colleagues. "So what do you say? Would you like to work for me?"

"Of course!" Ana nearly fainted from her excitement, as she took the Pokéball and the Pokédex and placed them in her purse. she said as she handed five Pokéballs over to Ana

"Alright then, I need to go to my lab to take care of some matters, but please stay in touch and remember to have fun! Oh, before I forget you should also have these, forming a team is always good whenever you're doing anything related to Pokémon"

"Okay! Thank you!" Ana said as the professor left and both women waved good bye, "She was nice" Ana told herself as she headed over to her bike. Now I'm one step closer to accomplishing my dream and avenging my brother! she thought with a smile and a slight blush on her face … wait… stay in touch?! ...

"How!" she turned around but the professor was by now gone. And Ana was just standing with a blank look on her face.

@ Drunk Good post! I liked the way that you showed a lot of Ana's personality. In the end though I was wondering who was using who:laugh:.
Ana received 5 Pokeballs, 1 Pokedex and obtained a Wooper.

(OOC: Hey all you Amethysts! Here's your first chapter post... Oh, and Frozensnowman, I'll change anything about it you don't like.)


Description: A medium-sized city in the middle of the Forever Forest. The Forever Forest helps protect the city from invasion and only Team Amethyst members and people with ghost or dark pokemon can enter the city. The city is dimly lit by lanterns because it is surrounded by trees that prevent light from entering. In the past this city was the capital of the Dark Kingdom and the forest was used for defensive purposes, now it is only home to Team Amethyst members and local citizens. There is a Gym, a Pokemon Center, a Pokemart and, of course, the Team Amethyst base in the City besides the homes of its residents. The Team Amethyst members have fairly established bonds with the citizens and they have co-exisited. Everdark city's reputation among other cities tend to be very dark and they are commonly referred to as a "bunch of sunlight-hating freaks". Everdark City receives shipments of goods from Maple Town at the west of the Forever Forest.

Starting Post:
A woman stepped out of the doors of Amethyst headquarters, looking over the group of people clustered outside. Many of them looked younger than herself, but there were a few who looked as though the had potential. But she would be the judge of that.

She flicked her long dark hair to the side and drifted forward casually, stepping onto the stage that was set behind a row of tables covered with PokeBalls which held several different kinds of Pokemon. The lanterns glowed dimly over the heads of the people standing before her. She gripped the podium before her tightly and looked down on them.

"Team Amethyst!" She addressed the crowd, which immediately fell silent.

"Our numbers are growing as is our strength!" Her commanding voice spread easily through the air and she glanced over the group of new members. They weren't as much as she had expected, but they would have to do. "I know that you have all gathered here to fight for our cause, and the time to do so is now."

The pager vibrated at her side and she looked down, reading the message that scrolled across it. A smile prickled her lips.

"In fact," she said, looking back over the group. "Your devotion to our Team shall be proven now. Members of the enemy Team have entered our city, and you need to make sure they don't leave again."

"Choose a Pokemon from the tables there," she gestured to the area before her, which had several wary-eyed guards who made sure none of the new recruits attempted to swipe an extra Pokemon. "But choose carefully as the Pokemon you take will be your partner on your journey."

"Go out and test your strength and defeat and capture at least one of the enemy Team-members and bring them back to headquarters. When you do so, you will be given the supplies that you need and some money to purchase any further necessities," she instructed. "But don't bring your Pokemon back here unless you went to the Pokemon Center first. We don't have time to take care of injured Pokemon. Now, go!"

Character Name: Beo

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Appearance: Beo is not a tall kid he is only 5 foot 6 and some people dont really think he can handle much at his height. He has a very athletic build though. If you ever see his back you'll see a huge scar that he recieved from a scyther when he was a little boy. Beo's hair is blonde and he usually has it spiked up. The color of his eyes are hazel, and he has a thin beard growing on his chin. The clothes Beo wear usually consist of a Red t-shirt with an unknown symbol on it. He also wears a pair of jeans with a few holes, usually is just wearing a pair of Nike shoes, and Wrist bands on his wrist.


Personality: Beo is a very fun out going guy, who really just likes to be outside and go on adventures. If you asked him what his goals in life were, he'd tell you that it was to enjoy life and not have any regrets. When it comes to other people he may be to quick to trust them, and at times this has caused him problems. He just can't help it though, it's his nature to find the good in people. The same can be said of his pokemon, he will push them as hard as he can to become the strongest they can be. But if they fail once in a while he won't give up he'll just keep on working.

History: Alot of things have been important in Beo's life, but none more then his older brothers influence on him. His brother was a great Pokemon trainer in Johto but he didn't battle he was a breeder and entered pokemon contests. Beo always would play with his brothers skitty it was a very well trained pokemon. One day when Beo was 12 he had taken Skitty outside while his brother was home on vacation and while playing in the woods, Beo was cut from behind by a wild scyther. Skitty quickly started battling it, before to long his brother hurried out and called skitty back, he didnt like his pokemon battling. Instead he threw a pokeball at the scyther and somehow managed to catch it. Beo was glad his brother always had his back. Beo always wanted to start his journey in johto but he couldn't becuase his brother wanted him to be a coordinator, which Beo did not want to do he wanted to battle, he loved the sheer thrill of watching pokemon go at it. So when he turned 18 he was given an offer to come to the Ophoore region and join Team Topaz. So Beo took there offer and left home.

Chapter 1
Beo's eyes slowly start to crack open, he threw his arms in the air stretching and yawning at the same time. Beo hadn't slept much lately and it was beginning to dawn on him that maybe he should try to get some money and stop sleeping on the ground. Things haven't been great for Beo though he looked to the sky and thought about the loss of his parents eight years ago and then wartortle not to long ago. No Emotion on his face this time though, he had a new goal, and that was to become a Pokemon master. He didn't know why but he just thought it was what he was meant to do. Thats why he was on his way to meet with Professor Birch now to get a new Pokemon and start his journey again. He quickly grabbed his bag and headed towards the lab.

Beo knocked on the door of the lab only to see a boy younger then himself answer the door.

"Hello how can I help you?" the boy asked.

"I'm Beo I came to get a pokemon from Professor Birch" Beo said.

"Ah yes well currently my father isn't here but I can give you your pokemon, won't you come in?" He said as he let Beo in.

Without saying a word Beo just stepped in and stood there looking around. The boy ran back behind a desk and came back holding a poke ball and a odd device.

"My names Brendan by the way and this is your pokemon, and this device is called a pokedex" Brendan said with a smile on his face.

"Aright" Beo said with no sign of thanks or emotion on his face. Beo started to walk for the door as he slipped the poke ball onto his belt, and the pokedex into the bag.

"Wait Beo! I have a quick favor to ask of you" He exclaimed.

Beo didn't care he just kept walking for the door, he didn't care about anyone Else's problems but his own.

"Please I just want you to look for my father while your out on your journey, he has been missing for a few days now" Brendan exclaimed.

Beo stopped in his tracks, maybe it was the fact he lost his father and felt a little for the kid.

"Fine" Beo said without even turning around he then continued to walk out the door and down the path to the next town.

Brendan watched as Beo just left but he had a feeling he meant well.

It looks good to me, though the decision is up to Frozensnowman, but maybe you should put in what he wears when not wearing a uniform (assuming the different teams have uniforms...)

Alright I added in what he usually wears, just incase we don't wear uniforms lol. But ya i figured it was up to Frozensnowman.

dboring you are Accepted.

Both Teams wear different uniforms, however, most of the time your character probably will not be wearing it because then you would stand out more and could easily be spotted by enemies. You will be wearing it mostly during your Team meetings and while you are in the presence of your leader.

I'm still working on the uniform though. You are all new trainees, so you will be receiving your uniform later until you gain trust and true acceptance into the gang.

I'll start working on a Team Topaz chapter now for you dboring and Pikalover (if he turns in an SU and gets accepted of course).

I'd also like to say that BOTH of the WILDCARDS are still available.
