Chapter 5: Clockwork Town, Team Topaz

Description: A town at the end of route 13 and on the edge of a cliff. Just before the cliff and at the end of the shimmering streets is a clearing for blimp rides. The city was designed to be in the shape of a clock some thousand years ago. The pokemon centers and marts are located at the eleven and one spots respectively. The contest hall is in the six spot and at the twelve spot is the largest building in the town, the mayors house. In very middle of the central town is the Grand Clock Tower whose entrance is fifty yards in the sky. A moving piece that simulates clock hands provide the only means of entering through it's entrance. The piece touches the roof of the mayors house at twelve every night and day. The clock tower grounds is also know as the Community Square where merchants, gossipers, and even luch eaters enjoy the pleasant location. While the main square is cleaned regularly, completely cover in shiny marble, and is completely friendly there remain some small areas beyond it that are less fortunate, clean, and rich.

Number of posts: 3-7 (Yes a lot of posts because there is a lot to do)

What to do:
-Heal pokemon at pokemon center
-Buy items from pokemart (Pokeballs, Potions, Paralyse heal, Antidote, Awakening. It must be a reasonable amount of items. No more than 3 items total)

-Enter Clocktower (See mission and there will be two posts MAX)

-Capture Pokemon (The pokemon for this place are only in the tower)

-Mickey: Contest Finalist, She is young and short standing at a height of five feet and an inch. She has brown eyes and black hair while her skin color is an exotic one of possibly arabian origin. Two strands of her hair form her bangs and besides the hair being constrained to her head two strands fall from the side of her head to her chest. She wears a luxurious lengthy one-piece purple dress and has gold rings on all of her fingers.

2. Convince the mayor and enter the Clocktower from his roof. You may use any means of persuasion that you think is logical.
3. Reach top of the tower and wittness the Team Amethyst Leader stealing the Black Moon Shard.
4. Fight a Team Amethyst Grunt. tim0789 may choose any Team Topaz member and write a battle post together. One of you two (tim0789 and Team Topaz member) will start the post and another will finish.
5. Once your battle finishes the tower collapses because the shard is stolen, so you must escape before it collapses.

Chapter 4: Evergreen Woods, New Adventurers​

Description: A dense heavily wooded forest at the southern fork of route 1 that connects to route 2. The sunlight is generally blocked by trees so its pretty dark, but not as dark as the Forever Forest. Besides trees the only other important thing is a shrine that contains the deadly Medusa Specticles. When worn it turns everything its wearer sees into stone. Fortunately its protected by a rock guardian. The moss rock, an unmovable rock that specifically evolves Eevee is also located here.​

The rarity determines the difficulty of catching a pokemon. The scale is Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Extremely rare. You will rarely see extremely rare. It is most often used for hard to get pokemon like Chansey or Ralts.​

Also the actions that are under "What you can do" can only be done once per post and you may only pick one to do like you may not atempt to capture a pokemon and find a TM in the same post. The exceptions have astricks by them like this You may find other items as well***. You may combine them with posts that don't have astricks like Finding non-TM items and catching pokemon in the same post.​

Sam walked into the forest. He was really happy. His pokemon were happy and so was he, for some barly explained reason. "Wow...this is a really pretty place. So many green trees, so much grass...and...brown plants?" Sam asked, spotting something. Suddenly, it moved. It jumped up and said, "Vee?" "What...the heck...kind of pokemon...is that? Let's check the pokedex!" Sam said. It said, " Eevee, the evolution pokemon. This pokemon is quite rare and its easily alterable DNA causes it to evolve within many of the right conditions quite easily." "Wow...sounds powerful. I shoud catch one! Let's go! Scorp!" Sam said. His pokemon came out of the pokeball. "Rupi!" his pokemon said. It was ready to fight. "Vee...Eeve!" The eevee said. It gathered speed and charged at Scorp. "Hm...this isn't going to be easy. We're gonna have to fight it and be CAREFUL!" Sam said. He could feel that Scorp was ready. "Jump over it and use your Poison Sting!" Sam said. Scorp shot the needles down. They hit the Eevee squarly several times. "Ve...Ee!" the Eevee said weakly. The needles had struck a vein and caused poison. This could hurt Eevee significantly. "Great. Now...let's test our new attack. Pin Missle!" Sam said. Scorp suddenly shot many spikes out of its tail. These spikes hit Eevee, causing a lot of damage. The Eevee looked absolutly drained.

"Now! Let's get it...Bite!" Sam commanded. Scorp charged and bit down on its opponent. Sam could hear the Eevee squealing. He knew he was going a bit too far, but he wanted to catch it and this was the best way he could think of. "Now! Knock Off!" Sam commanded. Scorp charged and hit the eevee. It hit a tree and suddenly...something happened. A pink berry fell. Sam knew what it was. Eevee bit the berry and got up. "Shoot! Pecha Berry at the worst of times...return, Scorp!" Sam commanded, calling his pokemon back. "Now! Nido, let's do this!" Sam said. His other pokemon, a Nidoran came out. "Go! Focus Energy!" Sam said. Nido calmed down, took a breath and focused. Eevee charged with another tackle attack. This one hit Nido's point. Suddenly, Eevee was having trouble moving again. The Eevee had contracted Nido's poison. The berry was gone. Poor thing...he needed to catch it. "Go! Double Kick!" Sam said. Nido charged and kicked the pokemon hard. It flew backwards, hitting the gound hard. "Now Peck!" Sam commanded. Nido charged again, this time with its horn up front, ready to hit. It charged...charged...hit. Eevee was having a lot of trouble moving. It suddenly started growling. Sam knew what this would do. "Leer attack!" Sam yelled. Nido started at his opponent. The attack of Nido was being lowered, but so was Eevee's defense.

"Now charge and hit it with double kick again!" Sam said. His pokemon charged and hit the Eevee again, this time into another few trees. These had no berries, though, so Eevee had no luck. "Ve...Vee!" Eevee said, collapsing. "Shoot. Its hurt badly. Nido, come back. Go, Pokeball!" Sam said. The pokeball came and just as it was about to hit, when Eevee's tail knocked it away. It suddenly started growling, and another Eevee came out. "Whoa...two Eevees? Cool. Still...I shouldn't hurt the other one. Nido, keep the other one back. Eevee! I promise not to hurt your friend. Or is it...yeah. I can see it in your thoughts. I can see those, by the way. Its your sister, isn't it? I won't hurt her, I promise. Now run, little sister Eevee, run!" Sam said. The littler Eevee ran out of fear. The other Eevee couldn't, though. "Don't worry. I won't hurt you any more. Instead, I want to catch you so I can help you. Now don't reflect this one, alright? Go, Pokeball!" Sam said again, throwing another pokeball of his. This one was not reflected by the pokemon's tail, or by anything, for that matter. It hit Eevee square on the head and the pokemon was sucked into the ball. One...two...Sam was counting the shakes. Three...now a click. Sam had to catch this Eevee. His supplies would help him heal it...but he couldn't do anything without catching it first.

Sasuneuchiha Sam caught a level 5 Eevee. Wow, I'm worried about that Eevee. You really beat it up... Oh, well it was still good.

Click. The ball locked shut. "Okay. It worked. Time to get to work...I should still probably go find that other Eevee...maybe catch it too. It would be bad to seperate family..." Sam said, throwing out Eevee. It could still barly move. "Okay...Scorp! Nido! Go get some berries!" Sam said, throwing out Scorp and commanding both his pokemon. They went and found many berries quickly. Pecha...Oran...Sitrus...it wouldn't be easy, but he could save Eevee. "Quick! Eat this!" Sam said, putting some food and the berries in a bowl. Eevee obeyed quietly. As it ate, it was noticably better feeling. "Feelin' better?" Sam asked. "Vee!" Eevee growled happily. It was, Sam could tell. "Okay...let's go find your sis." Sam said. They walked through the woods. Within a few minutes, they had found something. It was...a shrine. "Vee eevee ee!" Eevee said, walking towards it. Sam could feel presences inside...not just the little Eevee he had seen earlier. Two people...and a very powerful presence. He'd never felt anything like this. It was a power...it felt like a rock, for some reason. He felt pokemon presences like types...but one this powerful? It would have to be a legendary pokemon if it was one at all!

Walking inside, Sam saw nothing. His senses told him that the Eevee was further in and the humans weren't moving. He also sensed the strong presense again. This time, it was closer. "Gohgohgoh..." he heard. "What was that?" he asked. "Gohgohgoh..." it said again. "This is creepy...Scorp, Nido, return," Sam said, returning the first two pokemon he saw. "Eevee...return...AGGGGGGGGH!!" Sam said, as another round of the , "Goh...goh...GOH!" came, and a pillar of flame erupted from the ground. In this explosion, the scope lens in his bag fell. "Eevee! Get that!" Sam said. Eevee grabbed it with its mouth. Suddenly, a rock flew straight at Eevee. The rock hit its mouth...and Eevee swallowed the Scope Lens. "Whoa!" Sam said. The pokemon responsible was made entirely of rock. "What...kind of pokemon..." Sam said, pulling out his pokedex. It said, "Regirock. This pokemon is made entirly of rock. Not very much is known about this pokemon, as there are very few sightings of it." "Shoot...Eevee...should we run?" Sam asked. In response, the pokemon threw Rocks at all of the exits. "Well...that kills that idea. Looks like we have to fight it!" Sam said. Eevee obviously agreed. The pokemon threw more rocks at Eevee. "Hm...that time with Scorp in the contest..." Sam said, flashing back. The berries were falling. They were just like this. He wondered... "Use Tail Whip!" Sam said. Eevee flicked its tail and it hit each rock back at the pokemon. It took a solid hit from each.

"Okay! To the offense. Use your speed to run around it!" Sam said. Eevee charged at the pokemon. Instead...it built up an aura of rage. It quickly shot this aura at Eevee. "No! Jump over it!" Sam said. Eevee did as told. The aura made a hole in the ground. Eevee was now on the other side. Sam knew that that attack took a lot out of its user. "Now! USE YOUR TACKLE ON ITS HEAD!" Sam said. Eevee jumped up, hitting the pokemon in what would be its face. The pokemon fell over, into the hole. Suddenly, a pair of glasses fell from the ceiling. "What...are...these?" Sam asked. A new voice said, "That's easy. Those are the Medusa Spectacles. Now, hand them over before there's trouble." the voice said. "Who're you?" Sam asked. "Me? I'm a grunt of Team Topaz! Now give them to me!" he said. "Why should I?" Sam asked. "Because, if you don't, your little pokemon's sister gets it!" he said, pulling out the Eevee from earlier and his own bellossem. His partner came out, too. "Hm...SCORP! Now!" Sam said. He had secretly set scorp's pokeball down earlier in case of the pokemon moving. This was brilliant. Scorp came out of the ball and used knock off on the Bellossem. It knocked Eevee out of the pokemon's hands. Sam quickly caught it. "You alright?" Sam asked. He knew the answer. It was very confused. Scorp and Nido were both out, now.

"Let's do this. Scorp, Pin Missle on the Bellossem!" Sam said. "Oh please! You're pathetic! Just hand them over! Petal Dance combo!" the two grunts said together. The pokemon both started dancing and flower petals damaged scorp, nido and eevee all. "Shoot...what? You wanna help?" Sam asked, as the young Eevee started to struggle. The eevee growled to signal a yes. "Okay, but first, I think I'll have to catch you, so they can't capture you in the middle of an attack, okay?" Sam asked. Eevee jumped to the ground and bristled its fur. Sam knew that they would have to team up in order to win this. He and Eevee were friends, so they would get along, and Eevee would listen, but he was catchable. This would be hard. "Scorp! Nido! Return. Eevee, and...Vee. Let's do this!" Sam said, returning his 2 pokemon. The two Eevees bristled their fur, and readied for a battle.

Sasuneuchiha That was clever. Eevee grew to level 8. Eevee learned helping hand.

OOC: Idiot! It learns sand attack at level 8, not helping hand. it learns that from birth. lol. just kidding. i probably would have forgotten that too!

"Hm...okay! Eevee, use your Sand Attack! Vee, use tail whip!" Sam commanded. Eevee's sand attack covered the petals, defending the two pokemon. Vee's tail whip lowered their defense. Now it was time. But..."Solar Beam!" Both oppnonents commanded. The pokemon started charging their attack. Sam knew this might not work, but..."Charge! Run under their legs!" Sam said. The Eevees ran right under the legs of their opponents. The two pokemon used solar beam on the opposite Eevees, but since they weren't smart enough to realize the splash damage, they hurt eachother instead of the Eevees. "Now! Helping Hand on eachother, then Tackle!" Sam said, remembering the attacks. They kicked off eachother and charged, hitting an opponent a piece. This was knocked over their opponents. "Shoot shoot SHOOT!" the first grunt said. "I know! This kid is TOUGH! He might win...it's time! Use it!" the second one said. "Agreed! Go!" the grunt said, throwing powder over the two pokemon. The pokemon instantly seemed stronger. "Now! PETAL DANCE!" the grunts said. "Shoot...run!" Sam said. Both Eevees ran around the opponents. They hit eachother with their attacks. Sam was curious what that was, and there was only one way to find out. "Eevee! Sand attack on your opponents. Vee! Tackle the grunt with the powder!" Sam commanded.

Eevee shot sand up, guarding the two pokemon again. Vee tackled and stole the weird powder the grunt had. "Shoot! That took a lot of moon stone to make...AGH! Why'd I tell you that? Shoot! FINISH IT WITH SOLAR BEAM!" he commanded. "You too, Sunflora!" the other said. They charged it faster this time. "Okay! It's time. Vee, throw some of the powder at the attacks! Eevee! Use Sand attack to stop the throw!" Sam commanded. It worked just as he expected. The powder reflected the attacks. The two pokemon were knocked out by their own power. "Run...what?!" the grunts said, they couldn't move. Sam had put on the glasses. "Keep behind me, Vee and Eevee. As for you two, you have no mercy for pokemon. You destroy, you kill, and you abuse substances to make them more powerful. That's not power. No, you don't deserve to live!" Sam said, turning to face them completly. The two men were instantly turned to stone. Sam took off the glasses. "Okay guys, you can come out now. Good work. Vee, can I see that bag? I'm gonna have it analyzed. Professor Ruby should be able to. In the mean time, Vee. I would like you to join us." Sam said. "Vee Eeveve!" Vee said. Sam knew what it meant. It wanted to fight and be captured. "Very well! We shall battle!" Sam said.

Within minutes, the two pokemon, Eevee and Vee, were in a huge fight. "Sand attack!" Sam said. Eevee used the sand to bury Vee, but Vee flew a lot of it off with its Tail Whip. Then it tried to tackle. "Grr! Run around it! Use tackle!" Sam said. Vee turned around and tackled his sister and knocked it into a tree. Then, with several more hits, Eevee had Vee on the ropes. "Now! Hit it with your Sand Attack one more time!" Sam said. The attack hit Vee hard. "Now! Pokeball...go!" Sam said. He threw the pokeball right at Vee. One...two...three and then...

Sasuneuchiha Okay this might be confusing... Sam caught a level 3 Eevee. Eevee grew to level 10.

The regi-rock begs sam for the glasses to be returned. He then offers Sam a reward. Sam received the Heaven shard and the HM Cut. Regirock keeps the Medusa Specticles.

Clocktower power hour!

After hearing the news that Mikey knew Scythe's father, the two boys traveled to and eventually got to Clockwork Town where Mikey explained the story. "Well sir it was about a year ago, I was just starting out on my pokemon journey with my Poliwag and I decided to go fishing. Well everything was going fine until I got a bite. I started pulling on my rode but I couldnt pull it, and out of the water a Gyarados started attacking. I was scared out of my mind and didn't know what to do, so I tried to run. But the Gyarados was too quick and used dragonbreath. The attack hit me and I thought I was gonna die because my legs were both broken." Mikey said as Scythe listened on at with wide open ears.

Mikey than continued the story, "but then this man with an Electivre came out of nowhere and started attacking the Gyarados and before I knew it he captured it. Well I fainted and the next thing I knew I was waking up in a hospital and the man was right next to me. He introduced himself as Seviin Rage and asked how I was. I said I was alright and than asked why he helped me. He than told me about his son who he was forced to leave for reasons he couldn't tell me, but he said I reminded him of you. After that he said that he had a lot of important things to do and had to go. Ever since than I've been trying to live up to the skills he had."

Scythe listened to Mikey's story and tears began to fill his eyes, "Mikey thanks for telling me that story, im glad to know my father is ok" Scythe said. "Your welcome master, now i'm gonna head down to the pokemart and get some supplies before we head out." Mikey said as he left the building. Scythe watched the kid go and than heard his phone ring.

"Hello I take it your in the city?" the women asked. "Yes mam i am" Scythe said back to his leader. "Good i need you to come to the top of the tower as fast as possible" she answered. "Understood" Scythe said as he hung up and began to walk to towards the town center to talk to the mayor.

Luckily for Scythe earlier that day he ran into a girl named Lucy who needed a strong trainer to go into the clocktower for her. She explained that he would have to convince the mayor to let him enter through his house into the clocktower. So feeling reluctant to have this as an allaby to get into the tower, Scythe agreed.

"Hello are you the Mayor?" Scythe asked as he noticed the man. "Why yes I am youngster and what can I do for you this fine day?" The Mayor asked back. "Well you see I need to enter the Clocktower to protect it from an evil organization." Scythe said lying through his teeth. "What I don't know of any evil organization around here." the mayor said back. Getting angry Scythe barked out, "Ok you old fool if you don't let me go into that tower your whole crappy clock city is gonna be destroyed along with that damn tower!" The Mayor looked in horror at the angry kid and handed him the key.

After leaving the Mayor angry Scythe headed over to his house and made his way to the entrance of the tower. He entered the tower and was disgusted by what he saw. All around Scythe were a bunch of cogs and levers, which were all working together to make the giant clock work. "Wow, couldn't the leader pick some other place to do this?" Scythe asked to himself as he began to go to the top.

Scythe made his way pretty far up the tower before experiencing any problems, when all of a sudden a piece of the tower began to fall at him. "Woah!!!" Scythe yelled as he dodged the falling machine. He got up but was than slammed in the back, which caused him to fall off the cog he was standing on. "AHHH!! that was close.." Scythe exclaimed nervously as he grabbed ahold of the machine piece and pulled himself back up.

As he pulled himself up Scythe noticed that it was a pokemon who knocked him off. Pulling out his pokedex he realized that it was a Bronzor. "Hmpph I'm gonna capture you!" Scythe exclaimed as he sent out his Quilava. "QUUII" the pokemon chanted as it was ordered to use an ember attack.

The fire attack hit the Bronzor causing it to knock more pieces off the giant internal clock. "BRRRONNNZZZ" the pokemon yelled as it used confusion. "Quilava watch out!" Scythe yelled out realizing that this place was not a great place to battle. The confusion attack landed and Quilava was knocked backwards but seemed alright.

"Alright Quilava use Smokescreen!" Scythe commanded. The pokemon followed orders and filled the room with smoke. "Brronz???" the pokemon yelled back and fourth because it couldn't see anything. "Now Quilava use tackle and than finish this with ember!" Scythe said to his pokemon.

"Quiil!" the pokemon said as it charged through the smoke and tackled the Bronzor into a Cog. The smoke cleared and Bronzor noticed that the Quilava bounced off of him and was flying backwards about to shoot an ember attack it. "QUUUIIII LAVVVAAA!" the pokemon scram as it shot an ember attack at the Bronzor. "BRRROOONZZOORR!" the pokemon yelled as it tried to dodge but couldnt move fast enough. It was instantly covered in fire.

As the fire cleared Bronzor closed it's eyes and fell to the cog below. Scythe quickly threw a pokeball at the Bronzor. "Good job Quilava! you were great!" Scythe said as he returned it to it's pokeball. Scythe than watched to see if he would catch the pokemon, not knowing that someone familiar was very close to him.

As Beo entered the city he looked around and he found his first destination, the pokemon center! It was finally time to keep his promise to Pidgey and heal it's broken wing finally. He ran to the center and as he approached the front desk he took pidgey's pokeball from his bag.

"Excuse me but i'd like for you to take a look at my pokemon's wing for me please" Beo asked the nurse in a polite voice.

"Sure thats what were here for" She said smiling back, taking Pidgey to the back room.

Beo took a seat in the center of the waiting area, and saw a model of the town, he noitced how it was designed like a clock, and he noticed something that for a moment upset him. It was a contest hall for pokemon contests. Beo always disliked contest because he thought it was for weak pokemon. He then noticed the huge clock tower in the center of the town, and marveled at it's beauty. Then he heard a voice behind him ask for a favor.

"Excuse me you seem to be a pokemon trainer, and I was wondering if you would mind doing something for me" the soft voice said.

Beo turned to see a nice looking women standing behind him and figured he would hear her out. "sure what is it?" he asked

"Well i'm in charged of the clock tower tours, but the mayor has decided to close down the clock tower to tourist. I would like for you to convince him to let me continue the tours" she said smiling.

"Sure just let me check on my pokemon then i'll be on my way" Beo said to her as he walked up to the desk and asked how is pokemon were doing. To his surprise the nurse was just bringing them all back out to him.

"Ahh thank you very much" Beo said happily as he recieved his pokemon and headed towards the mayor's house.

Beo stopped for a second and let pidgey out of it's pokeball "well pidgey it's your choice come with me, or you can be free now?" Beo asked thinking about all the time they spent together.

"PIDGEYYYY" the pokemon shouted shaking it's head up down happily as it jumped back into it's pokeball. Beo was happy pidgey decided to join him.

As he approached the mayors house and saw an old man with a disgusted look on his face.

"Excuse me are you the mayor?" Beo asked.

"YES! what do you want" he said angrily towards Beo.

"Gessh whats your problem?" Beo asked.

"A young man about your age just entered the clock tower, threatening that the whole town would be destroyed if he didn't" the mayor said.

"What! that's weird, well i'll go check this out for you if you let the clock tower tours continue afterwards" Beo said to the man smiling.

The mayor pondered the question for a second and then nodded for him to proceed. Beo then entered the clock tower.

As Beo entered the clock tower, he saw all the gears and turning knobs and knew this would be difficult, but he started climbing as he reached the second level something seemed weird and he then realized he was floating in the air. Stunned by this he started screaming, then noticed a whole group of ghosts looking pokemon were responsible. He quickly threw out poliwag and ordered a bubble, which caused the ghosts looking pokemon to release Beo from there constraints. Beo reached for his pokedex and opened it up.

"Shuppet the puppet ghost pokemon" the pokedex read.

Beo called out his new teammate pidgey.

"Pidgey use sand attack on the whole group now" Beo shouted as Pidgey started quicking sand into the six shuppets eyes and blinding them.

"Now Poli use bubble, and finish them off!" he shouted again, as poli started creating bubble after bubble hitting each Shuppet, the ghost pokemon then all vanished, and Beo wondered what would cause them to act like that. He then started to smell what smelt like smoke, and fire and though maybe that could have been the cause for the pokemon's strange behavior.

As Beo started climbing faster he reached the floor where the smell was coming from and as he turned the corner of one of the gears he saw an all to familiar face. With a stunned look he turned to the boy "YOU!" Beo shouted to the boy, who turned and look all to stunned to see him as well.

The battle of old rivals!!

As the pokeball settled down Scythe realized he captured the Bronzor. "Alright!" Scythe exclaimed. Scythe was about to head further on his way up the tower when he heard a voice from behind.

"YOU!" the voice exclaimed as Scythe turned around to see an old face he used to know. "Beo...it's you. Hmphh i heard you were here and a member of team topaz none the less." Scythe said as he stared at the boy. "What I do is none of your buisness Scythe. Now tell me what it is your doing here!" Beo yelled back.

"Well i'm in Ophoore searching for my father, but im in this tower for a certain reason. So youll have to excuse me as I say goodbye to our little reunion. Quilava use smokescreen!" Scythe yelled out to his pokemon. Before Beo could react a cloud of smoke covered his eyes and when it cleared Scythe was gone.

After using smokescreen Scythe headed off towards the top of the tower and he finaly arrived. "Well about time you get here." the leader of team Amethyst said calmly to her underling. "Hmpph I was a tad bit busy, so what do you need from me?" Scythe asked scolding the women. "You see this stone over here?" the leader asked pointing to a dark stone sitting right on a platform under the sun.

"Ya what about it?" Scythe asked. "Well I need it for my plan to work out but i cant touch it." the lady said back. "Ha I dont even know what your plan is let alone why I should be doing this." Scythe said back. "Do it or I will never give you the details on your fathers whereabouts." the woman than yelled back at him.

"Grr fine!" Scythe said as he pulled the stone off the platform and gave it to the leader. "Thanks kid your a great employee. I think I might give you a promotion eventually. But o you need to defeat that boy for me, and be warned once I leave this tower with this stone, the tower will begin to fall!" the leader laughed back at Scythe while pointing to Beo who had caught up to them.

"What!" Scythe yelled as he turned around and saw Beo. "So your working for scum like Team Amethyst? Thats pathetic Scythe!" Beo yelled in anguish at Scythe. "I have my reasons Beo, but I also have my orders and I have to take you out old friend!" Scythe said aggrivated as he sent out his Quilava and Murkrow.

"Hmmmph so a battle huh? Just like the good old days, remember when I used to win all the time!" Beo remarked as he sent out his Poliwag and Pidgey. "Quilava go use Tackle on Poliwag! Murkrow use Pursuit on Pidgey!" Scythe commanded his pokemon. Quilave quickly advanced and tackled the Poliwag who quickly rebounded.

Murkrow used pursuit but it only slightly hit the Pidgey as it flew up into the air. "Poliwag use bubble on Quilava! Pidgey use tackle on the Murkrow!" Beo yelled out. Poliwag shot out a bubble attack that made contact with Quilava and caused it to take minimal damaga. "Quii" the pokemon yelled as it drifted backwards from the blow. "Murkrow counter the attack with peck!" "Muuurrr!" the pokemon shouted. The Pidgey was close to hitting with the tackle when Murkrow countered with Peck causing the Pidgey to faint.

"Ahh Pidgey it's ok!" Beo said returning his Pidgey realizing he needed to train it a bit still since he just got it. While the battle was going on the Team Amethyst Leader just watched the two boys battling realizing that the kid on her team had gotten a lot stronger since she sent him on his missions and he was slowing helping her dream come along.

"Quilava go use ember! Murkrow use Astonish!" Scythe yelled out to his pokemon who went to attack the small Poliwag. "QUIIII!" "MUUURR" the two pokemon shouted as Quilava charged in and used an ember attack while Murkrow was going in for an astonish attack.

"Poliwag counter the ember with your strongest bubble possible!!!!!" Beo shouted out as he watched the two stronger pokemons attacks coming in closer and closer. "POOOLLLLIIII" the pokemon shouted as it charged up a crap load of energy and shot out a thousand huge bubbles just in time to block the ember attack.

The two attacks collided together and caused a huge explosion. "AHHHH" both Beo and Scythe yelled as they covered their faces from the blast. "Hehe this is interesting" the Team Amethyst leader said laughing as she stroked the stone she had just recieved.

As the smoke cleared Beo and Scythe saw that both Poliwag and Murkrow had been knocked out while Quilava stayed in the battle but with a lot of damage. "Ah Murkrow goodjob take a break buddy! Quilava keep it up!" Scythe said to his to pokemon as he recalled his Murkrow and petted his Quilava. "Poliwag nice counter you did good!" Beo said his pokemon.

"Well Scythe this is obviously interesting..."Beo said to his old friend as he got ready for the next part of the battle. Scythe threw out his Cacnea and began to wait for Beo's next two pokemon.

Beo watched as his old friend called out a cacnea, and waited for Beo to throw out his next two pokemon. He realized he needed to beat Scythe and get that stone back before the clock tower came down on top of them.

"Go Zaps and Seel. Zaps use growl, seel wait for my orders!" Beo shouted to his pokemon.
Zaps started growling towards the cacnea and quilava knocking them back a bit and Beo could see quilava was having a tough time moving.

"Quilava use ember on the mareep, and Cacnea use poison sting on the seel" Scythe shouted out to his pokemon. Quilava started shooting flames from it's mouth while cacnea started swinging it's needles at seel.

"Seel dodge then use headbutt on quilava, Zaps stun the cacnea off of seel with a thundershock!" Beo ordered the two trainers watched as Zaps shot a few bolts of electricity off at the cacnea causing it to stop momentarily off the trail of seel, but doing little damage. Seel then rushed into the weakened Quilava who was trying to evade the attack, but seel hit it directily with its head knocking out the pokemon.

"Ahh quilava return ok fine looks like we have a battle after all go shellder" Scythe shouted.

"hmph you should know that waters weak against electric Scythe! Now Zaps use thundershock on the shellder, Seel hit shellder with a headbutt" Beo yelled.

"Not so fast, now Cacnea jump infront of shellder, and use poison sting" Scythe ordered with a big grin on his face. Cacnea jumped infront of the shellder like a shield absorbing the thundershock like it was nothing since electric is weak against grass types, and as seel charged in it hit the cacnea directly but was also hit back with a poison sting.

"No cacnea!" Scythe shouted as he knew the bronzor he caught was to weak at the moment to battle it was just down to the his only pokemon vs Beo;s two. But then seel fainted from the poison stings damage.

"Ahh no seel" Beo shouted as he returned his pokemon. The two starred each other down for a minute, they were no longer old friends, but now they were on separate sides. They could no longer be friends anymore, and they both knew that. Both of them needed to win this battle for a different reason.

The team Amethyst leader knew with the type advantage Scythe may not win, and decided she would just leave now and cut her losses, as long as she had that stone, she was alright with losing Scythe, if it meant keeping her goals in check. She then swiftly jumped out the window. Scythe and Beo said nothing they were both caught up in the moment that nether of them realized she had snuck out.

"Zap's finish it with thundershock!" Beo shouted as zaps shot a few bolts of electricity towards the defenseless water pokemon.

"Now shellder use withdraw" Scythe ordered as shellder withdrew inside it's shell just as the blast hit causing smoke to occur. All of a sudden the whole building started to shake and a small gear fell knocking out Scythe.

"Ahh, zaps return" Beo shouted as he ran over to Scythe. Beo didn't know why he was about to help Scythe out, he should have just left him lying there defenseless to die in the tower, thats what his leader would have done. But something inside told him he couldn't leave him there and he quickly recalled shellder into it's pokeball and tossed it into his bag. He then proceeded to put scythe over his should and he started climbing down the tower dodging each falling gear, as he made his way back out threw the mayors house he just made it, as the building collapsed behind him.

Beo entered the pokemon center, and left Scythe and his pokemon in the care of the nurse, healed his pokemon and left without saying another word to him. Beo knew there friendship they shared so long ago was over. No more favors, next time they saw each other he would finish him off.

As Beo sat around the back side of the pokemon center of Clockwork town where he had just dropped off Scythe. He thought about how things used to be when he lived at home and would anxiously wait for his brother to come home, after each of his contest trips. He remeber how much he loved to play with his brothers skitty, and even wanted his brother to teach him how to be a contest coordiantor. But that was when he was real young, and now he couldn't stand pokemon contest's they bothered him for some odd reason. Then he remebered that there was a contest hall here in clockwork town, and he decided just this once, to see if he had the same skills as his brother.

Before he left he looked down at each of his pokemon, he noticed how after his last battle with Scythe, Zaps had evolved into Flaffy. But for a pokemon contest to go succesfull he knew that the first round was the most important, and it required a good move set, so Beo decided on using Wags for the first round.

As Beo entered the contest hall he walked up to the main counter and waited for someone to arrive at his service. A few moments later a young women came over to him.

"Hello there and welcome to the Clockwork Town Pokemon Contest Hall, how may I help you?" She asked smiling at Beo.

"Um well I, er, blah.. i'm here to enter into the pokemon contest" Beo said as he tried to utter the very words that he vowed to never say.

"Well then just let me register you and your pokemon into the computer, and here is your ribbon case, in which you can put all of your pokemon ribbons that you achieve into this case, now what pokemon will you be using for the appeal part" The women exclaimed.

Beo listened to the women talk about things he already knew about, and grabbed the ribbon case and threw it into his bag. "I'll be using Wags, my poliwag for the appeal part" He exclaimed to her.

She then registered Beo and then motioned for him to follow to the main stage, since the contest had actuall already started. When Beo was finally onto the main stage he looked around and then noticed the huge crowd, cheering all around him. He looked to see a few judges sitting behind a desk waiting for Beo to make his selection. For a moment Beo felt at home, maybe he was really meant to follow in his brothers footsteps, but he figured he would wait till after this round to decide on that.

"Alright Wags come on out and use Bubble!" Beo shouted as Poliwags jumped out of midair and started spraying bubbles across the stage then swiftly landing on it's toes. The crowd looked in awe for a moment and wondered how Beo would do next.

"Now Wags use hypnosis on the bubbles!" Beo ordered as Wags started sending somewhat shiny circular waves out of the circle on his stomach and hitting the bubbles, it caused them to split and create more tiny bubbles.

"Wags finish it up with a water sport on the bubbles" Beo said grinning as his poliwag tilted it's upper body upwards towards the falling bubbles, and started spraying water out of it's mouth like a foutain. This caused the bubbles to start bouncing around on top of the flowing water from Wags. Beo looked at the view in front of him and thought it was a magnificant site created by his Pokemon as Wags stood there not moving even an inch Beo looked back to wait for the judges.

Beo stood in th middle of the stage waiting to here the judges ruling, if Beo would make it into the battle round of the contest. Everything grew quite for a second then up on a big screen a picture of Beo appeared and then a check mark came up next to it. Beo had made it to the next round, the crowd roared in excitement as the four contestants had been chosen to move on. Beo felt a bit of excitement on his own, he didn't think pokemon contests could be so exhilarting. He congratulated Wags and reutrned him to his pokeball. He then made his way off the stage.

Beo look on as they showed the match ups for the battle round, and Beo was going to have to face a young boy by the name of Nolan in the first round. In Nolans skills test he used a Beautifly but Beo knew he would change it up for the battle round, and Beo decided to do the same, he was going to use Pidgey.

After awhile of waiting in the loung Beo was led back onto the stage by the same women as earlier and across from him was his oppenent Nolan. Beo knew how these matches were set up they were timed, and you had to use both style and startegy to get your oppenents pokemons hp lower then your's. On the big screen above them A picture of Nolan, and Beo popped up on seperate sides, with a long green bar under each of them. The judges waved for the battle to begin, and the timer started. The crowed cheered in anticipation.

"Go Starls" Nolan yelled as he called out his pokemon which was a starly according to Beo's pokedex.

"Pidgey come on out" Beo shouted as he knew this should be an intresting match up between two flying types.

"Starly use growl with some gracefullness" Nolan shouted as Starly started growling at Pidgey.

"Pidgey ignore it and start kicking sand into the air, with sand attack" Beo shouted.

"Huh into the air whats that gonna do?" Nolan shouted towards Beo wondering why he didnt direct it at his Starls.

"Now pidgey fly into the air and wait for a second" Beo shouted as pidgey flew above the hanging sand on the stage and waited for it's orders.

"Starls fly up and hit that pidgey with a quick attack now" Nolan yelled as Starls took off into the sky but started flying through the sand that was hanging in the air from pidgeys sand attack which blinded starls causing it to miss pidgey.

"Now pidgey use Tackle to finish it off" Beo ordered as Pidgey darted into the stomach of the blinded Starls and knocked it to the ground of the stage. Below Nolans picture the health bar dropped to almost Zero, but at the same time the time ran out.

"Great battle Pidgey, now return" Beo shouted as he was declared the winner and would move on to the finals. The crowd roared in excitment as Beo made his way over to shake hands with his oppenent Nolan.

"Good battle" Nolan said happily.

After a brief intermission Beo returned to the stage to see who his final oppenent was, it was Mickey a Contest Finalist, she was wearing a purple dress with gold rings all over her fingers.

Mickey called out her pokemon Aipom the purple monkey pokemon, who has a hand on the end of it's tail.. Thats what the pokdex read anyway.

"Hm go Seel" Beo hollered as he called out his seal type pokemon.

"hehe good luck" Mickey said to Beo with a smile.

"Same to you" Beo said with a grin, for some reason he was truly excited to be in the finals of his first contest and wondered what his brother would think if he saw him now.

"Now use agility and run around seel" Mickey ordered still smiling.

Seel tried to follow the little purple monkey around but was to slow and quickly became dizzy.

"Hit it with a swift" Mickey shouted as Aipom started shooting gold stars from its body hitting the dizzy seel directly inflicting a bit of damage. The green bar under Beo's picture started to decrease a little above half.

"Hmph ok we were careless there seel but not this time" Beo shouted.

"Alright Aipom repeat with aigility again make his pokemon dizzy again" Mickey yelled. Aipom started to spin around Seel trying to get it Seel to follow him agian.

"Now seel use Water sport to cover yourself inside it so you can't see the Aipom" Beo ordered as Seel started spitting water from it's mouth creating a fountain surronding him alone and blocking him from following Aipom.

"Oh nice move to bad it won't help much, Aipom use swift" She shouted back at Beo.

"Ha I was hoping youd do that now seel use headbutt" Beo shouted as the water stopped flowing and as the stars converged on the middle seel was not there. Instead Seel came plummeting out of the air straight for Aipom hitting it directly with headbutt. The green bar underneath Mickey's picture was almost equal with Beo's at this moment and time was drawing to an end, each trainer needed to try a final move.

"Well it seems I underestimated you Beo, this has been a great battle but obviously it is coming to an end Aipom use tickle" she shouted. Aipom jumped on seel and started to tickle the pokemon.

"Seel use growl to knock it off" Beo shouted as seels started growling causing the purple monkey to jump with surprise off of him.

"Now it's over Aipom Last Resort" Mickey hollered as Aipom ran in straight for Seel.

"Fine Seel go at it with everything you've got with a Headbutt!" Beo ordered as the two pokemon collided in the center of the stage leaving both trainers in awe as time expired at the exact moment. They both looked up to the big screen to see who had the most points left to ultimatily know the winner.

Just then the crowd all roared as the judges shouted "And the winner of the pokemon contest is.................................."

dboring Um... I'm sorry I guess I wasn't clear when I said this, but for both battles of the second round you use the same pokemon. Substitutions may be done only between the First and Second round. It's okay though because you didn't know. Beo has won the Clockwork Town contest. Pidgey grew to level 8. Seel grew to level 11. Seel learned Icy Wind.

(OK. So yeah. I've been neglecting this RP for some time, and I apologize XD I'll get to posting as soon as possible, if that's fine with you.)

Chapter Three, Continued: VS Buneary! Tari Shows Her Skill!
(It seems like the chapters revolve around the Bagon a lot XD)

Passing the first round of appeals seemed liked forever ago. Sighing, Cierra looked at her newly groomed Bagon, then at the twins who had done an excellent job on her. With a wave of her hand, Cierra left them behind, walking towards where she was to go next. As she continued towards her destination, she heard the person in the overhead mention of the next round. It consisted of battles, and anyone who was able to win would go up against the one with a Buneary, Usagi. Cierra couldn't help but giggle at the name, since such a cute name belonged to a male, after all. But, that was besides the point.

The first round of battles consisted of Cierra going against someone who had a Gastly. Thankfully, Tari knew Bite. And Cierra very well knew that whoever won would face Usagi after this. Such a dangerous battle. We'll both be trying to move on... she thought. As Tari stared its opponent down, Cierra noticed a little bruise on Tari's left arm. Did she get that during the grooming? Cierra suddenly recalled how one of the twins (Jack, maybe?) accidentally scraped against Tari's arm, and Tari had yelped in pain. Oh, not good...

"Tari! Bite!"

"Gastly! Hypnosis!" Rings of light surrounded Tari just as she bit onto the sphere that made up Gastly's body. She began to doze off, Gastly still intact with her mighty fangs. As the Gastly tried to get out, Tari continued munching on the poor critter until finally, the Gastly fell down with Tari, practically unconscious. At this point, Tari woke up and jumped away from the Gastly, as if confused as to what had happened. Placing her hand on her forehead, Cierra sighed.

"Tari, Bite again. Please." The Bagon seemed to scowl at Cierra, but walked over to the Gastly as if there weren't a problem. Picking it up with her two sets of claws, Tari bite into the Gastly one final time, as if it were a loaf of bread. The Gastly lost consciousness, and Cierra moaned. Why are all my battles with Tari strange? she asked herself. The announcer declared her the winner, and with Tari in her arms, Cierra walked to the back where she was to wait for her battle against Usagi.

"Cierra Clover, I assume?" a voice from behind Cierra asked. Turning around, Cierra became face-to-face with Usagi himself.

"Cierra RILEY Clover, thank you," Cierra responded (she always hated it when people forgot her middle name).

"Ah. Well, Miss Cierra RILEY..." Cierra growled at his mocking remark. "You'll face me next. But, you'll use that Bagon? Hah! My Buneary's going to crush you more than you know it! Ciao!" Surprised at his personality (it didn't seem to match him), Cierra couldn't help but stare in the direction he went off in. Oh well... Better prepare...

The time of the big battle came. Cierra versus Usagi. Tari versus Buneary. And, in a manner of speaking, Cierra's will versus Tari's obedience. As Usagi called out his Buneary, Cierra noticed he had a specific way of doing so. But then again, it was some kind of contest, of course he had to do this! The Buneary spun as it came out, sparkles flying in all directions. Looking at her own Pokeball, Cierra sighed.

"Tari, take flight!" Cierra yelled, throwing the ball straight up into the air. Tari jumped out, flapped her arms, then did a somersault straight onto the ground, landing perfectly on her feet. The crowd clapped at Tari's performance, but Cierra knew she had to do more than just that to win.

"I'll start. Buneary, Ice Punch." Already making his first move, Usagi pointed at Tari, and the Buneary bounded towards her. Cierra knew Tari was weak against Ice moves, and cringed when there was an impact. Tari fell backwards, and hit the wall. Gasping, Cierra turned in the direction of her Bagon.

"Tari! Can you stand?" Thankfully, Tari's stubbornness seemed to keep her going, as she at once stood to Cierra's command. "Great! Now, RAGE!!!" Tari lowered her head, and ran at top speed at the Buneary, hitting it on the mark. The Buneary hopped back though, as if not taking any damage.

"Buneary! Ice Punch again!"

"Tari! Rage! Again!" The two clashed again, and this time, both were catapulted back into the walls. However, Tari only seemed to gain power from this attack, and Cierra knew to use this to her advantage.

"Tari, Bite!" Tari dashed again at top speed, this time her mouth wide open.

"Buneary! Bounce!" It was nearly a hit. But the Buneary bounded up, and started heading straight toward Tari, feet down. Cierra smiled.

"Tari, Bite." Tari raised her head (actually obeying her owner, amazing!), and the Buneary found it heading into Tari's trap. Unfortunately, as Bounce goes, the Buneary would have a hard time changing direction. Its foot fell right into Tari's mouth, which closed shut. Tari then began swinging around violently, and soon let the Buneary fly freely.

"Hmph..." Usagi muttered. "Now we END this! Buneary, Ice Punch! One last time!"

"Tari, Rage, one last time!" Finally happy that Tari was listening, Cierra waited for Tari to move. But instead, Tari sat down, waiting for the Buneary. "Tari!" Cierra cried, hoping that would get the Bagon moving. But Tari only crossed her arms as the Buneary came towards her at blinding speed.

"TARI!!!"

*thump thump*

*thump thump*

*thump thump*

The sound of Cierra's heart could be heard throughout the entire stadium. An explosion occurred when the Buneary made contact, and Cierra gasped. He...won... she thought. No... But, as she soon noticed, Tari was standing up, mouth over the Buneary's arm, where the punch was to come from. We're...still in? Phew... Cierra nearly fell down from this sudden shock, but managed to keep standing.

"Buneary, jump back, and use Ice Punch again!"

"Tari, Rage!" Both ran at each other much like they did earlier. Another explosion, and the two waited patiently, to see who would be the victor...
