You've all been there at one point or another. That time you panic so much, you no longer care about efficiency, expert strategy, or level grinding training methods.

You just want to get out.

This can come in many forms. Catching that Pokemon you've been searching for hours about to faint, nearly getting wiped out in a dungeon, etc.

Feel free to share stories about panic attack like so.

On victory Road on my Red and I only have a Magickarp left which only needs one more level to evolve when suddenly I ran into a trainer I just avoived "Battle theme starts"

    Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Me going to the Pokemon center

In SS, I panicked after running out of normal Pokeball variates and used my Master Ball on Luigia, forgetting I saved just before him. I have no clue how to catch Mewtwo now.

False Swipes and put it to sleep, paralysis, freeze, or burn.

Lance (second time through in HG) is the only in-game trainer to have ever pushed me down to one Pokemon. He somehow realized my distress, and used Perish Song! Thank goodness for the extra revive. That had to be the most fun, scariest, and exciting battle ever despite my 'Oh crap' feel the whole time.

Unfortunatly, I can't think of a pokemon that learns it, (it is most defiantly not my my Pokeparty, I'll bet.) And I got it as low as I was conformable and PRZed it. And again, none of my Pokeballs, Great Balls, Ultra Balls, Moon Balls, Luxury Ball(s), etc., worked. And I didn't think you could get Luigia again.

Getting to Zapdos on FireRed, packed to the brim with Ultra balls, Revives and potions ( Not an amazing legendary, I know, but precautions must be made). 35 minutes later, im down to my last pokemon, Clefable, Zapdos at 1 hp, and 4 ultra balls left.

    * Zapdos used Struggle*

    Pause

    *Zapdos fainted*

Only then realised I hadn't saved the game in the past 4 hours...

Scyther learns it pretty early on. I caught one in Platinum and transferred it to my SoulSilver for my League Team, and it came already knowing FS at Level 17-ish, soo...yeah. You just need patience with Mewtwo >_<

My Panic Button...realising that I am coming up against Morty's Gym on my Normal Monotype challenge in HG. HURR DURR I predict a lot of headdesking. >:

I was facing the Champion in LeafGreen awhile ago... both of us were on our last Pokémon (I had an Electrode, he had an Alakazam). I was underleveled by about 6... and he whittled me down to red HP, not before I realized that I had run out of Full Restores. So, I ordered my Electrode to go WTF boom, knocking out both of our Pokémon and ending the match in a draw.

    I've had two panic buttons.

I was playing Nuzlocke and I was pretty confident in My Honchkrow's ability to kill chuck. Well I heal, it uses Focus Punch and Hits right after that, and continues thrashing my team. I have a Bayleef with 10HP Left thats asleep. Politoed had swaggered it the turn before. IT GOT CONFUSED AND I WOKE UP AND KILLED IT.

Also I was battling Cynthia's SPatk Roserade with my Rapidash, confident I'd win. SLUDGE BOMB. I get critted a lot, thats how all my PKMN die on Nuzlocke. I watch my HP widdle down, ready for the screen to say "A critical Hit!" Except I had 6HP left and I killed it!

I once ran out of hyper potions when battling the Elite 4 with only my Blaziken, Salamence, and Gengar.

Gengar was knocked by Drake when I needed someone to heal Salamence. There was only two left, so I had to save it for Steven. Salamance showed up to destroy the Flygon. Steven comes up, and I could feel the claws of defeat grabbing onto me. I destroyed Skarmory before he could spike me. It took a couple of turns, but Blaziken was able to burn Cradily. I switched Blaziken with Salamance so Claydol's Earthquake wouldn't affect her much. Instead of using Earthquake, it spammed all five of its AncientPower until Salamence took it down with a Dragon Claw. I switched back to Blaziken and took down Aggron pretty quick with a Flamethrower. Armaldo almost knocked out Blaziken with two Water Pulse. Blaziken missed with a Blaze Kick and Armaldo made a critical hit with another Water Pulse. I switched back to Salamence and allowed her to destroy Armaldo. I then switched back to watch my Blaziken burn down Metagross.

That was one of the few battles I remembered during my run on Emerald. I had fun throughout the whole time, because each time there was a possibility that I might lose it all. Wow, I really miss the Advanced Generation.

this should be in the WTF moment thread, just sayin

"Just sayin" it in a thread doesn't do anyone any good. You're just mini-modding that way. Just click the report button and be on your way.

But yes, this thread's panic button moments would just classify under wtf, really. So it's time to do away with it.
