False, I used Hitmonchan for all my games. I'm grateful that the programmers made the elemental punches into physical attacks so 'Chan can no longer do abysmal damage with them due to a poor Special stat.

...oddly enough, I never knew Hitmonchan's attacks were that bad until I heard about it on a Let's Play.
