Well, the reason we're not excited, is because Serebii.net, or in fact any other site have actually delivered this as news yet. If we see pictures of it, then we shall believe, but until then... I'm remaining sceptic. :/

I do believe you but it certainly isn't something to loose sleep over as it isn't such a major thing, and we still don't know what it will do, I don't think it would do the same as it did in Gold/Silver/Crystal, that's what we have Trainers Eye for...

Tesla7zap just said that that might not be wat is will be used for because that is what the "trainers eye" is for..do you have any idea what it will be used for....(if there even is one)?
 
bianca is correct about the phone. a few days ago, i saw on a site (i forgot the site though...) a screenshot that showed a picture of the pokenav and what the phone on it does. it works WAY differently then the on in GSC. in Emerald, the person is transported to your current location! believe me if you want, but it doesn't matter to me because i know that i am telling the truth. if you want, you could search on yahoo or google or whatever, but I know i am correct.

I dont want a phone in the pokenav!!! The phone was my most unfavorite part of G/S.
That stupid Picknicker liz and a bunch of other people always were calling for stupid reasons.

They would always call for rematched to battles...but if you read the post below(post 11)..it says that that is not wat the phone will be used for...it will be used for different purposes...
 
Well, according to the extract... it isn't actually a phone. It's a teleportation device that acts as a phone... which I find a bit o_O It seems a bit strange now that a PokeNav can have the power to teleport you around places. It makes me wonder what the fourth generation of games would have as a special feature?

It is going to have a phone! plus the pics are released in a few days thats what i have been hearing! allso i heard something about a wireless adapter coming with it aswell butthat can't be true can it? i mean that wireless adapter is personally for fire red and leaf greenbutwould they give out on with the upcoming emerald game?
 
the phone might serve similar purposes as the phone in pokeon gsc... maybe the phone is used to inform you of oubreakes etc instead of tvs? :S
