    Here is where you can discuss the profession of Pokémon interpreting in "The Poké Spokesman."

    My review to come forthwith.
     
    I actually, truly, have never heard of this episode title. If someone had asked me, I would've said it never existed. So obviously, I've never seen this episode.

    It's so fun remembering the days of Johto ~
     
    Yup I have watched a lot of Johto episodes but I honestly do not know this one.
     
    Okay I watched all Johto episodes, at least I thought I did until now...can someone plz hopefully refresh my memory on this one?
     
    I'm with Jorah on this one. If I hadn't looked it up on the interwebz, I seriously would have gone on in my life missing that episode.

    I remember seing this episode a few years ago - even more than once I think. It was about an old man, who was sure that he was able to understand pokemon and be able to talk to them in their language.

    To me the whole talking to and understanding pokemon thing is kind of confusing. In some episodes it seems like every pokemon is able to understand human language perfectly (like in episode 1 where Pikachu obviously reacted to what the people around it said about it), in others it seems like they do not (even on a Pokemon TCG card of Lucario it is stated that THIS pokemon is able to understand the human language (but not the others?)). In some episodes it seems like humans can understand pokemon (it once was said that a trainer can understand his/her pokemon if he/she knows them well enough - and it was shown with Ash and Pikachu a lot of times), in others humans can't understand their Pokemon (like in this one, where Ash needs a translator to understand his Pikachu o.o).
    I guess the writers are kind of undecided about this matter.

    I'm gonna agree on Jorah. Remembering Kanto/Johto episodes is so fun.
    Especially when it's like... 5-6 years ago.
     
    I only rember it cause i watched it not to long ago a week maybe lol Im watching all the seasons i have on dvd it is not that good of a ep i watched it about a week ago and i almost forgot it. It hardly made an impression
