Xavier
Xavier held the little Joltik in his arms, poor little guy, because of Xavier his mother was taken from him.
That tore at him, Xavier knew what it was like to lose a loved one, a mother, and now it was his fault that nother felt the same pain, the little pokemon was so young... yet he was strong enough to finish off that Golurk, which was pretty darn impressive. Still it was in no way fair that the little fuzzball had its mother taken from him like that.
Xaviers clothes were filthy after thaat battle, the power plant was quite dirty anyway and now so was he.
Xavier felt the Joltik snuggle up to his chest in its sleep.
"Mama..." It murmured.
Xavier felt so upset for the little pokemon. He'd have to take care of it now. Of course he didn't mind, he had wanted a bug type pokemon... but at thta moment, the concequences outlived the rewards. He wished none of that had ever happened. But it had.
Xavier decided it was best if he didn't tellthe others how he had come across this little guy, it didn't seem right to worry others with a sad story on a day when scary ones were meant to be told.
Thats right, it was Halloween, Xavier had almost forgotten, Burgh would've made him a costume, but to Xavier knowledge Burgh had just up and left after the dance without a goodbye. That wasn't like him at all.
"Oh... hello Mr. Comfy-head." Xavier looked down to see the little pokemon in his arms looking up at him with four bright blue eyes.
"Mr. Comfy-head?" Xavier asked.
"Yeah, your head was very comfortable, just like Mamas nest!" The little Joltik said happily at first, but he frowned when he though of his "Mama". However he quickly perked up and looked around to see that they were walking down a road, with Oak town and the academy on the horizon.
"Where're we going?" He asked.
"To Oak academy." Xavier replied.
"Mama said thats where the peoples live... there and Firr town." The little Joltik said.
"Ummm... you mean Oak town..." Xavier murmured.
"Oh right, yeah there!" The joltik said.
He looked at Xavier skeptically.
"Are you my new Mama?" He asked.
*AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW* Xavier thought.
"Well.... not your Mama, more like your friend, I help you and you help me. We work together, I'm your trainer." Xavier explained.
"Mama said she had a trainer once, but he was mean so she ran away when I was still an egg... you don't look mean though, you helped me against the mean man who hurted Mama!" The joltik smiled.
"But if I'm your pokemon ad your my trainer, then don't I have to go in a pok.. pokep... pokeb..." The joltik tried to pronounce the word.
"Pokeball?" Xavier asked.
"Yeah that!" The Joltik said happily.
"I have it here... but are you sure you want to..." Xavier said pulling out the pokeball."
"Yay pokepaul!" The Joltik giggled jumping into the ball.
It shook three times and dinged.
Looks like Joltik was officially his pokemon.
Moments later however the pokeball burst open and Joltik jumped out back into Xaviers arms.
"Oh Comfy head, I don't like it in there, it's dark and cramped and icky!" The Joltik whimpered.
"Oh well... I guess you don't need to stay in it ALL the time..." Xavier muttered, slightly annoyed by how fast the Joltik got distracted.
"Whats my name? When Mama had a trainer she said her name was Lightning. So whats my name?" The Joltik asked.
"Look will you stop changing the subject every feww seconds you annoying little fuzzball!" Xavier said annoyed.
"Fuzzball... I like it, Comfy-head!" The oltik, errrr... Fuzzball, climbed up onto Xaviers head and began to fall asleep.
"Wake me when we get there comfy-head." Fuzzball yawned before falling asleep.
"My name is not... *sigh"" Xavier sighed this little guy was going to be a handfull.
Xavier just shrugged and waled into the academy, wearing a filthy Suicune dorm jacket and a joltik on his head.
