Prologue

29th day of year 201, the New Land
A sturdy Mamoswine walked through a tundra-like landscape. Small bushes were trampled by the big, heavy feet. A large pouch mounted the big, furry Pokemon. Suddenly, a Kecleon appeared before the Mamoswine. "No signs of any native population. Only frozen tundra" the Kecleon said. It was wearing a wool jacket, and cloth boots. The Mamoswine nodded. "Patience, Grengon, we shall wait for Naelet's response, though" she said. "Yes, Tenja. I know" the Kecleon said. They continued towards a giant, cold mountain.

Tenja and Grengon were climbing the mountain. They were walking in a spiral-like pattern, going smaller and smaller circles around the top. The strong wind blew the Mamoswine's fur sideways, making her look bigger. A Murkrow came soaring down, and landed on Tenja's back. "Naelet!" the Kecleon shouted happily. Naelet reported that the whole island was covered in grass, and was pretty cold. The group eventually reached the top of the mountain. They gazed down to see the whole island. To the west, there was a forest, with tall trees. To the east there was a bubbling mud-pit in the middle of the tundra. The rivers entwined the landscape, ending in a silent and peaceful lake.
Grengon said quietly: "What do we name it?" The Mamoswine smiled. "Isn't that obvious? Glencior, of course" she said. Naelet, the Murkrow, nodded. "Yes, he sacrificed himself for this discovery" he said. "It is decided" the Kecleon said.

51st day of year 201, The United Powers HQ
Every last-evolutionary species of Pokemon in the world was gathered in a round hall, with a tribune shaped like a half-circle filling most of the space. In front of every Pokemon were a notebook and a sign with a flag and the name of the country they were representing. An old, pale Parasect walked up the stairs, and entered the stage in the room. "We UP representatives have come here today for another important discussion. You have all heard of the discovery of the new island, called Glencior. Now, who will populate the New Land? Today's inner circle, consisting of the leaders of four countries with no interest in the island, has decided to divide the Glencior in two and give one part to one country. Now, we must come with a conclusion!" The Parasect gave its speech. There was a mumbling spreading on the tribune. And later that meeting, there was a conclusion. A big war was declared…

Plot (Include the word: "Chronical" in your sign-up, so I know you read this)
The situation is that several countries have declared war, the final prize being either half or whole of the island Glencior. The story takes place in the Pokeworld, a world populated with pokemon. The pokemon have come to a technological era, equivalent to our early 20th century. Yes, the pokemon can talk. You, as a role player, will play a whole nation. The method you use doesn't matter so much to me. The nation is populated with one evolutionary family of pokemon. Example: Wurmples, Silcoons, Beautiflies, Cascoons and Dutoxes or only Shuckles. Also, exeptions are made for pokemon pairs without evolutionary forms, such as Plusle and Minune or Solrock and Lunatone.

The goal of any nation is mostly to take over whole or half of Glencior. Again, the method is up to you. That's the beauty of it. This part of the chronicles is over when the problem is solved, when Glencior is populated by a country or more.

Nation types

Moderate nation: A nation with a population of 5 million inhabitants or more, and a medium sized country. This nation is allowed to be in an alliance with one other moderate nation or two other small nations. It may not be neutral, though.

Superpower: A nation with more than 10 million inhabitants, and a big imperium. This nation is not allowed to be either allied with another nation, or neutral.

Small nation: A nation with less than 7 million inhabitants, and a small geographical size. May be allied with three other small nations, or one small nation and one moderate nation. Only size of nation that is allowed to be neutral.

Species: Starly-Staravia-Staraptor

Nation Size: Small Nation
Population: 7 million
Geography: As a small nation on the coast, the LIB has drawn a lot of attention from birds looking for someplace to live. The land has provided a lot of trees that make for the homes of Staraptors. The Staraptors live in the high tree tops, as the Staravia's live in branches. The Starly live on the lowest branches, and learning now how to fly, they usually never venture up to visit the Staravia's. The sea has made it one that has many white sandy beaches, and it has become an ideal place to live. Because of the sea right there, there are a lot of huricanes that hit the nation. The trees are far enough back though, and no one lives on the beaches, so they don't pose much of a threat. In the middle of the nation, there is a giant tree that looms over the entire country. From there the cheif Staraptor, Glanidis, can see everything, and use it's incredible speed to race to the rescue.
Cities: There are no cities, the LIB is consisting of trees, and so everyone is in one place.
Culture: The LIB is usually a very peaceful nation, but they keep a very strong army just in case of a war. The Staraptors usually have some of the top speed of all of the nations, and so they can run from battle. The LIB people are very much hunter gatherers. The hunt the game living on the surface, and even when something will wash up on shore, the will eat it. Anything that the LIB people do not eat, they will trade away so as to make money. They haven't so much adjusted to the industrial age, but their strong attacking strength makes them just as strong as the larger countries.
Government: A definite Republic, and not a democratic republic. The people of LIB all come to the big tree to vote on descisions. If something is passed, each member will pitch in to make sure that it is done.
Industry: The nation only makes money through exports. Other than that, the country has little need for money. They mostly keep to themselves, and eat off the land.
History: The land was found by Glanidis when he was a young Starly, Glandis then reported to the Staraptors, and they named him cheif of the land if he wanted to inhabit the land. Glanidis went over and inhabitted the land with some of his fellow starly's. The land thrived, and at age 14, he evolved to a staravia. At age 34 he evolved once more to a Staraptor. Now he is 100 years old, and he rules the country.

Leader: Galandis, the 100 year old Staraptor.
Military: The military is primarilly formed by Staraptors and Staravia's. You are allowed to join the army at age 16, and most do at of national pride.
RP Way: I will primarilly be writing as Galandis, but it will definitely be a more strategic look at the combat.
Introduction:
Galandis looked out over his land. He gazed at it's vastness, and yet he wished for more. Slantra, his noble Staraptor flew up to him to report in. "Galandis, I have terrible news, a huricane is about to hit, but it is going to be stronger than most of the others. Do you want me to evacuate the first group of trees?"
"Patients, Slantra, just wait the storm out. Have the Staravia's go pick up the Starly's. The Starly's should be safe at a higher elevation. I have faith that the trees will hold." Galandis calmly answered. He then flew down toward the front group of trees to tell his Staravia's.

Nation Size: moderate
Population: 8 million
Geography: Not far from glencior, monttilio is a lush and fertile land, blooming with fruit trees and plants. The mild weather is suitable for most kinds of life, and in a way, is kind of like Glencior. Monttilio does not have many lakes or rivers, so many of the inhabitants have to travel far to get water. Very rarely does the weather here ever change, and it stay about 65 degrees all year round. Because it's weather, allot of tall grass grows on this contry.

Cities: Linelp is the capital city of montillio, and is smack dab in the middle of the country, and is heavily protected for a reason. It has 4 million residents. that is 2 of 3 and a half this country has in residents. If this city was destroyed, it would be a devastating blow. Another huge city is poinilift, which has 1 million residents.

Culture: This nation is a very carefree nation, most of it's inhabitants not caring what happens in the war. Some of the inhabitants. however, wnat to make a better name for themselves. The nation is widely ignored, and the luxio and luxray at war want to put that to an end. They have quite a strange religion. They dont believe in any gods, or anything. they believe that oneday a ship of luxray came and from there the land got populated.

Government: Replublic

Industry: The lands industry is very good right now, because there is a shortage of water, most places sell fresh water and gain alot of money. also, the shinx, luxio, and luxray dont need many things to survive, so not many shops have to be built.

History: The nation was founded very recently, and became very popular quickly, wghen the land was founded, there was a big war between the luxray and another race for the land. The montillio nation took heavy casualties, but in the end, the montillio nation won.

Geography: The Libithians have populated a small region frequently plagued by thunderstorms.The terrain is quite flat with only one mountain(Mount terra), over 9000 feet tall.When at the top it is said that you can see the whole of the region,which is about 10 miles long.Whereas there is thunder and lightning,there is very rarely rain on the region of Libithius,which has lead to numerous droughts.This is the regions only problem.There are a few lakes,but they are quite rare.The regions smain source of water is an underground lake which they have to drill in 5 miles to reach.

Cities: There is only one city in Libithius,which is just a load of power plants huddled in one place ,which is why its the capital(Libithia).There are other small lots of power plants,which are like villages to us.

Culture:The culture is multi-cultural.The pokemon are allowed to worship any legendary they want,but the majority of them prey to the electric dog raikou,the most popular electric god.The rest are widely believed to follow the ways of Zapdos,the electric bird.
Government: The government consists of 12 governers which are 6 pikachus and 6 pichus, and a head raichu.Every 5 years there are 12 new governers elected, and if there is to be another head raichu,another raichu must challenge him to a battle.

Industry: The nation doesnt really use money.They get stuff by trading their things for other things of value.

History: The Libithians are a group of electrics who broke away from the main group of the pichu,pikachu,raichu group around 200 years ago.The main group then declared war against the EE and wouldve wiped them out if it wasnt for the EE leader of that time (titanus) who through sheer cunning,punched a hole in their military defences and killed the main groups king.The main group then panicked and those that didnt join the EE fled to the wild where they lived the rest of their lives as outlaws.It was then that the board of governors was formed and they put the monarchy behind them forever.

Leader:Titanus the third,grandson of titanus and now 50 years old

Military: The military consists mainly of pikachus and raichus.There are some pichus but the are usually at the back at the fighting and not in the main throng of it.You can join at 16 and will be expected to give it your all and complete and utter loyalty.

RP Way: i will mainly right from the point of view of titans the third and the point of Romulus, a young corporal pikachu in the war.

Not very bright... And the nation name is supposed to be the same as the name of the "island". So if the name of the nation is "The elusive electrics", then that's the name of the island. Fix it, and then we'll see...

Nation Name: Charemina

Geography:
Charemina is located to the north-east of Glencior. It is a very big nation, spanning from the southern coast, facing Glencior, to the northern coast, facing the Morgeli Sea. To put numbers on the size, the borders surround 3,864,497 sq mi. The inhabitants are scattered pretty averagely, but the population is none the less focused in the major cities.

The climate of Charemina is vastly hot, and is mostly desert. The only exceptions are some oasis in the land, and the coasts, either populated or heavily forested. Because of the constant heat, tourism of fire-type pokemon is a big industry in Charemina.

Because Charemina is a very flat country, with only one chain of mountains, so the country has a very obvious source of electric energy: wind. Lots of windmills are built in unpopulated areas. Also, some Charemin scientists are inventing a super-efficient energy source, sandstorm-generators.

Cities:
Cria-Tikka is the capital of Charemina. It is located in the southern-central area of Charemina. It is not the biggest city, though. It is actually quite small, only consisting of the gigantic, royal palace, some living area and a marketplace. The royal theatre is also built in Cria-Tikka. The city is built pretty randomly in the desert, but isn't very far from an underground watersource.

Brimaj is the biggest city of Charemina. It is built upon and around a big oasis to the west. It's population spans 14% of the total population in Charemina, which is a good deal, considering that the Charemin population is so spread. Most of the water-based production.

Murnuluc is a city, built in the warmest part of Charemina. This is the major destination for the fire-type tourism that is nothing else is very special. This is the only city with restaurants.

Ceglyht is a coastal city, built on the eastern part of the south coast. This is the residence of the marine, as well as most Charemin farmers. This is the area where there are berry-farms. Not many farms, though.

Culture:
Charemin usually talk very polite to each other, and treat each other with respect. These traditional norms are only broken by young ones from the slum, i.e. in Brimaj. And in fights with each other, they never use anything stronger than Force Palm. Their national celebration of encounter, commonly called Nepche, is celebrated the 62nd day of the year, because of the historical meaning of the day. And the Charenim Meditites never eat more than one berry a day, Medicham don't eat more than one berry a month.

The Charemin national religion is very unusual. Their religion is built on fear and respect for the god Ghumm. This represents their ancient god of famine. This is the common reason for why they drive themselves to the limit, eating a minimum of food. So, the reason why Chareminans are so skinny is because of their beliefs. Logic, eh?
The normal rutine is to go to the Ghummi Temple first thing in the morning, dance the Reyer, and go home. The eating routines are unique in Charemina, as the Meditite / Medicham species has the ability to restrict their eating to the absolute minimum. A normal Meditite will eat one single berry a day, and a Medicham will eat one berry a month. Traditionally, the berry is eaten at the exact time the pokemon in question was hatched. (The time a day for a Meditite and a time a month for Medicham). Practical in most areas.

Government: Monarchy
There is one sole heir of the throne, currently Behmal XII. There is no other set government, but the nine elders are the ones that advise the king. The Elders consist of nine Meditite that have grown 100 years old without evolving.

Industry:
Charemina's main industries are fire-type tourism and the special sport desert-orienteering, which many countries enjoy. Also, cactus-grain is farmed in several oasis. This is the only export of Charemina. As for power, they use the little altarcium ore they can find in the mountains to the north, and that is enough considering they mostly use their psychic powers as energy.

History:
Year 93: There was once upon a time a Medicham sheik. He was rich as royalty, and was now prepared to give the ultimate gift. A palace. Where? It had to be a place of total silence and ultimate pleasure. He sent his scouts, and the wisest one found an oasis in the desert. The sheik, known as Behmal I, did not believe that the location was apropriate. But the loyal scout insisted, and they hovered away to the oasis. Everything was perfect, and Behmal quickly ordered his men to build the palace. It was made in Deyal Stone, a bluish-brown stone only found twice a year. But another dilemma was found. His two wives. Cria, the older and more loyal one, and Tikka, the younger and more "playful" one. The desicion was as intelligent and inovative as a Numel: the name was Cria-Tikka, and after some years, it was officially declared as the capital of Charemina.

Year 154: Charemina is a Superpower, with more sq mi and population than any other nation. The military is constantly guarding the borders. The desert is widely wanted by fire-type pokemon, and though not war, violence was still pretty predictable. Hamash I rules the nation, declaring the official religion as Ghummi. Though minor anarchy is excecuted, the inhabitants are mostly on his side.

Year 171: The short and effective industrial revolution opens the sultan's eyes for cactus grain and tourism. The borders are opened, and Charemina makes it to the top of the "wealthy nation list". 3rd place. The berry ration system is also invented by the nine elders.

Leader: Behmal XII
A pretty ordinary Medicham, 57 years old. The only difference: he's royalty. He has a son, Hamash III, that is a shiny Meditite. He is now 12 years old. He is of course the prince.

Military:
The M.F.O.C. (Military Forces of Charemina) is newly rearranged and sorted out as preparations for the war. Behmal XII found that he was not ready to lead his empire to war. The Head-Sheik of MFOC is named Teyrath Mabaar (69). He has a master degree in military strategies and tradition. Teyrath has personally appointed and split up the military like this:

The Major Defensive Army: MDA is the greatest and least specialized part of MFOC. Mostly Meditites are members. MDA has the responsibilities of guarding borders and major cities and strategic points. They also serve as coast guards. The MDA uses standard equipment only. (See under "Equipment")
The leader is Potica Mresh (33), a female Meditite, specialized in use of Detect.

The Coastal and Marine Striking Force: CMSF is the section specifically made for Marine combat. The Meditite/Medicham ratio is pretty near 50/50, but the Meditites often drive the vehicles. The equipment that is often used is standard and marine equipment, as well as most vehicles.
The leader of CMSF is Nojuc Simahmed (49), male Medicham specialized in use of Hidden power.

Air Assault Squad: The AAS is a minor section of MFOC, therefore called "Squad". They use High level Meditites only, because of the use of Meditational Vehicles. Though only 78 members, they are a crucial part of MFOC, and can be a turning point in any battle.
The leader, Telmol Simahmed (46), is a male Meditite, specialized in use of Shadow Ball.

Stealth and Infiltration Squad: The SIS is a squad made solely for infiltration and assassination missions. A mixture of Meditites and Medichams use moves like Double Team and Power Trick to confuse the enemies and get rid of them.
The leader is Lanay Emstapha (58), a female Medicham specialized in use of Double team.

The Royal Guard: RG is made to protect the ruler of Charemina. They guard the palace in Cria-Tikka, and follow Behmal XII and Hamash III around, like lifeguards. Only male Medicham can enter after three years of training in use of Light Screen and Brick Break.
The leader is Arahman Yalal (81), a male Medicham, said to be the most powerful one in Charemina.

The Medical Care Squad: MCS is a squad that recover fainted or injured soldiers. They arew all hich level Meditites or Medichams that use the move recover parallel with other devices and medicines. They often accompany amies that are certain to engage enemies.
The leader is Mijati Ujanb (50), a female Medicham that specializes in use of Recover.

The Sumo Squad: SS is a squad with soldiers that eat the quadruple diet of a normal Meditite. They become overweight from Charemin standards, and build more muscle. This way, their fighting moves are stronger than normal. They are used as tanks, often leading the front in a battle.
Modmash Hequen (74) leads the squad and specializes in use of Reversal and High Jump Kick. He is a male Medicham.

Equipment
-Standard uniform: A comfortable, but durable vest that covers the whole body, though not the mout area. Lots of pockets and pouches are included. Printed in camouflage: Desert/Forest/Winter.

-Drain Gun: DGs are the core of all Charemin troops. There are lots of types, each based on a move in Meditite and Medicham's movepool. Only the usual ones will be introduced here:
--DG Hidden Power: Drains the user of hidden power. Since every pokemon has a unique Hidden Power, the effect of this is individual. Therefore the span and use of this weapon is the broadest of all DGs. I.e. one soldier may have a Bug-type Hidden power, being more effective in battles against Grass-type enemies.

--DG Confusion: Drains the move Confusion from wielder. Attacks with a large beam-like blast, that tends to distort the enemy. Very practical in big battles, as the victims may get so confused that they hurt themselves.

--DG Secret Power: An all-round weapon that drains the move Secret Power, which drains power from nature. Effect varies from terrain.

-ME Technology: Short for Meditate Everywhere. Drains energy from the meditation of the driver. Can hover, float or submerge, whatever necessary.
--ME Transporter: Mostly called Trans-Me by soldiers. Carries driver only. Is often mounted with DGs.

--ME GigaVoyage: Mostly called Giga-Me by soldiers. Uses the power of eight meditating, synchrone drivers. Can carry a load of twenty additional men.


RP Way: I will play many characters in parallel, so stay awake…

Introduction:
The scene of a desert. It can be calming… or fearsome. The sandstorms raged and the sun stood high on the sky and grilled at the hot sand. No one could believe that anything could live here.
Suddenly, a purple, transparent sphere popped out of the clouds of sand. Five Medicham were in it.

The four surrounding the fifth were all in light-blue and dark-red uniforms. The uniforms were of silk, but one could clearly see that armor padded the shoulders and upper torso. They were also wearing some sort of metal gloves with symbols glowing purple. The middle one was wearing a blue silk outfit with golden outlines and buttons. The back of the long-sleeved outfit was long enough to cover the back of the knees, but the front only went down to the waist. He also had a gem on his forehead.

As the group walked to the entrance of a great temple, the figure in the middle slowed down. "Royal Guard, stay" he said. The sphere disappeared and the four surrounding Medichams replied: "Yes, our Majesty". Behmal XII, the middle Medicham continued into the Temple.

He entered the room, where nine old Meditite were meditating in a circle. They all hovered about 50cm above the floor. "I, Behmal the twelfth, am here" King Behmal said. One of the Elders replied: "We know, boy. What do you want?". "They have found a new island, named Glencior" the King said. "We know" The Elders replied. "And now they have started a war over it. We need that Island. The mountain is ideal for meditation" the King said again. "We know" The Elders replied. "Well then, what should I do?" Behmal asked irritated. "Well, you can't handle it yourself. You should appoint a military Head-Sheik" an Elder answered. "Yes, Choreh is right" another Elder said. "Yes, I will find one immediately!" The King declared. "Don't me so high and mighty. We already found one. Teyrath Mabaar. He is a military genious" The Elder said a little sarcastically. The King bowed and thanked the Elders before heading out.
"You didn't have to toy with him so much" an Elder said, still meditating. "Yes, he is a bright kid. He just doesn't know it yet" the first Elder said. The others nodded in acceptance.

As soon as Behmal XII came out of the entrance, the royal guards made the light-screen sphere and surrounded the irritated Medicham. "I hate those old geezers" the king said as they entered the raging sandstorm.
