Does anyone remember the Poke-rap song at the end of the anime during the OS era (the song that lists the 151 Pokémon).

Yeah, I do. I actually listened to it well. I should note that it only was used for the first 51 episodes, with Pikachu's Jukebox replacing it starting with Princess vs. Princess.

Loved it as a kid. The sound of Ash's voice when the episode was done, "Don't go away, the Poke-Rap is next" also made me cheer. I'm pretty sure I knew it off by heart at one point. I wish they'd bring stuff like this back but I guess the Anime has evolved to the point where it doesn't need it. Would be a cool throwback for old school fans though.

...yeah, I remember this. I spent about three months memorizing it as a kid, and some things never leave your head. This rap appears to be one of them for me. But the dub Pokemon songs have always been awesome in my opinion; I remember all of the old songs and a lot of the newer ones too. xD

Eh... having just listened to it again, I really think it's best if that kind of thing just stays back in the past where it belongs. :p

There used to be a time when I could have recited the whole Pokérap front to back completely from memory. I used to love it. Now, hearing it again, I can't help but wonder what the appeal was.

How can I forget something like this? Of course I liked it as a kid but now after hearing I'm like meh. I still think it was a nice addition to the anime in the first episodes.
