    Welcome to the thread of the RM2K3 starter kit!

    Well I Started this 2 days ago (15th August) beta is already out with
    a CBS and a CMS!
    Now for the introduction
    INTRODUCTION

    I figured out that there was a starter kit for RMXP(Pokemon Essentials which I still use)
    but RMXP is Shareware and RM2K3 is Freeware in English and I am a very skilled
    coder in RM2K3 but I can't script in RMXP,so I made a starter kit for it (Please note my game will not use my starter kit as that it will have expert coding)
    and the best part is for the battle system no more hard tasks!

    BETAS

    Beta 1 - released on 17 August
    Features
    -CBS with only FIGHT and Run Commands (I wouldn't like to see you struggle doing stuff for bag and items!)
    -CMS with Pokemon,Save and Exit commands (Please note that you have to do the command the ponter is on then press down to go to the next part)
    -only wild pokemon battles with random wild Pokemon generator from Caterpie-Metapod and Pidgey (You will have to edit my CBS Map and my Random pokemon generator to add more Pokemon)

    I would suggest just downloading a demo of an old fan game (for Rm2k3 of course) and use it as a base. I've seen people using my old game Silk2 as a base, and saw another member using Pokemon Liquid as a base. Just give credit to whoever created the game.

    I was thinking about doing a starterkit before Protectors (and as said before, Protectors started from this idea), but I think with Rm2k3- since it's all that event coding rather then script (like in RMXP)- I think it would be better for users just to learn themselves.
     
    Ditto to Neo-Dragon. Also, RPG Maker 2003 is now obsolete, especially with Pokemon games because RPG Maker XP has a starter kit that raised the bar. Right now you're better off making your own game or joining the staff of somebody else's game.
