"Thank you!" Ash called to the crowd. "And thank you, Sky...welcome to the Challenge, where your know-how of Pokemon can earn you cash and fantastic prizes! Let's get started with a toss up question to find out who gets control of Mari for the first round..." At this, a screen nearby Ash blipped to life, showing the likeness of a Pichu.
"Hi, I'm Mari!" the CGI Pichu laughed. Various "Hi, Mari"s and waving came from the crowd, including the contestants.
"Sky, where's Mari off to today for the first round?" Ash asked.
"She's going on safari to the Misty Jungle in search of treasure beyond her wildest dreams!" Sky explained as safari attire appeared on the Pichu. "But be careful, there's wild Pokemon about, and if they catch her, you'll have to take a challenge to free her!" At this, pictures of a Seviper, a Dustox, and a Nidorino appeared on the screen.
