The Power of One/The Rise of Darkrai

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but don't the 'Power of One' and 'Rise of Darkrai' movies have a similar plot idea?

In the Power of One, Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno are fighting- Lugia tries to stop them. Lugia dies during the battle, but is later brought back to life by the Guardian Song. Melody plays the song various times earlier in the movie on her ocarina. The song is what calms down the fighting.

In the Rise of Darkrai, Dialga and Palkia and fighting, and Darkrai tries to stop them. Darkrai is killed by the explosion, but later returns at the end of the movie. Alice plays the song throughout the movie, which is what was used to calm the fighting between the legendaries.

Am I the first to realize this?

The writers are just too lame to come up with a new plot for their movie. They only want you to buy the DVD so they can have your money.

Yeah, the plots may be similar, but you have to admit that Lugia's Song and Oracion are two of the most beautiful songs in the history of Pokemon.

All the repeated plot ideas are the reason that I'm not too fond of DP-wise, aside from the characters. Power of One (Pokemon 2000) has always been my favorite Pokemon movie, but I really didn't like Rise of Darkrai, and the repetition was one of the reasons for that.

Yeah, the plots may be similar, but you have to admit that Lugia's Song and Oracion are two of the most beautiful songs in the history of Pokemon.

what Lugia song? the Japanese song version or the English song version? Orcaion was a Nice tune and I like Lugia song..the English version

The English 'The Legend Comes to Life' and 'Oracion' are the most beautiful songs I've heard on Pokemon, I'll have to admit to that.

And Power of One has always been one of my favorite movies, along with Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and Pokemon 4Ever.
