No need to say sorry, Pokemon hack aren't as popular and known as main series games, so it's easy to give wrong pokemon. I also don't know very much about these games, that's my first playthrough. Anyways, teams accepted ^^

Took a small break and came back. I just got done grinding all the new team members up after catching them. I'm right before Whitney, so, she's next on the track, but for now I sleep after this post.

Found a Butterfree in the bug catching contest. Funfact, Butterfree doesn't learn sleep powder till level 15 and wild ones don't come with tackle or string shot. This isn't the worst thing in the world, just amusing to me, even though it makes sense since the learnsets of both Caterpie and Butterfree are completely different.

Accidentally stumbled onto a Stantler while I was grinding Butterfree up to twenty. Caught him but it took all my balls to do so. Hilariously it was my lure ball that finally did it. His name is Goldman since House of the Dead. That's it, I don't know why I couldn't think of anything else at that moment, if someone wants to suggest a better name I'd love to hear it.

Finally got enough Pokedollars to get Sandshrew, which I then level up to twenty-three for slash before letting her evolve. Her name is a pun and has two meanings, can you guess where I stole created it from?

We're getting pretty far in the game now. Which impresses me. Going after Groudon already. But, anyways. Update.

-SO. Began the trek down route 120 and 121, beelining straight to the Safari zone. Didn't bother dex-navving, and just caught the first male heracross I found. The heart shaped horn on females is just... lacking in the intimidation factor. Welcome to the team, Walhart!
-Headed to Mt.Pyre, letting Walhart take point to get him some levels. Made it to the top, but Maxie has no time to battle me, the fetcher... Whatever. I'll trounce Courtney instead. Oh, and blue orb is mine now.
-A quick jaunt to Slateport, and more of Maxies shenanigans. And a free trip to Lilycove!
-Ran into Brendan, who pushes for a battle. Man, out mah face. Come back when you have a full team.
- To the Magma Hideout! Pillaged their base, making sure to grab the Master Ball before I left. Battled Courtney again while Maxie fled. Craven! FACE ME!
-Whatever. Coward. Went a-surfing, passing right by Mossdeep to run and get the Heracronite. Now, I am weaponized.
-Returned to Mossdeep, and went for the gym to fight the trainers. A megahorn for you, and a megahorn for you, everyone gets a megahorn!
-Lisa and Tate get Mega Heracrushed in two turns, seizing for me my seventh badge!
-Walking outside, disaster strikes! Kersplosionfornoreason! And Steven gives me dive, scuba gear, and sends me out to save the world. Some Champion.
-Leaving off for now before I give chase to the legendary Groudon.

Figured I should post an update for my Alpha Sapphire challenge.

I started my journey by naming myself Stephen and picking out a Mudkip because I for some reason thought the special Mightyena would have Ice Fang, which I thought would be helpful against Roxanne. When I got to the point where I caught the special Poochyena, she had Fire Fang. I named her Luna. After catching Luna, I grinded up to beat the first gym, which I did surprisingly easily. I just used Howl once while Roxanne's Geodude was out and two-shotted both Geodude and the nosey-one with Bite.

After beating Roxanne, I went and saved Peeko so I could get to Dewford Town (I now hate that town)! Have you ever tried going through Brawly's gym with nothing but a Poochyena? I was able to beat the first trainer because it had a Meditite and no fighting type moves, but was unable to pass the second one. I had to kill Zubats in the cave for an hour to evolve into a Mightyena. Now, as a Mightyena, I was able to beat the entire fighting type gym with ease. I used Howl twice when Brawly's Machop was out, healed up, then one shotted both the Machop and Makuhita with Fire Fang. Plus, upon evolution, Luna got Intimidate which sure helped a lot (and still is!).

After defeating Brawly, I headed over to Slateport City and promptly went outside to catch my second team member, Kenny the Electrike. After catching Kenny, I went and saved the Slateport Museum from Team Aqua. Then I went and started making my way up to Mauville when I was rudely interrupted by May. I easily defeated her team and them went up to Mauville.

Upon arrival, I took an immediate left, entering the route leading to Verdanturf Town. Instead of going to Verdanturf Town, I caught a Marill, who I named Jack. He luckily had Huge Power so I didn't have to grind out finding more Marills until I found one with it (he had already taken about 30 minutes to find). I defeated Wally infront of the Mauville gym and am now grinding up to be at the same level as Watson.

Instead of Swalot, you get a Luxray! I think these are available in game, I don't know anything about hacks so I pulled up a list of Pokemon in game. If it's not though, just tell me and I'll reroll it!

Okay. I'm at the 2nd gym and after my struggles of trying to find Torkoal I realized him and Walrein are unobtainable. So I need a reroll on those two as well.

I can get to the 5th pokemon just fine but. That sixth screws me over because I'm against using more than 12 potions per gym.

At least sort-of. I've defeated E4 and Champion, but there seems to be lots of post-game stuff. However I really don't feel like continuing this anymore and I think I'll make the end point here. The game feels completed to me at this point.
Overall I have to say I really love this game. The region is very well thought, places are interesting and trainers are challenging. I'd love to play this again, so I'll post a sign-up below.

Puree was my best pokemon in the entire team, I always love using Medicham and this time wasn't an exception. Lovely moveset, great ability, the look. He just swept entire teams with Hi Jump Kick (of course when it didn't miss). I gave him Medichamite just for E4 and it was just perfect.

I like Flygons. She was a great addition, the second-best after Puree. When Puree fainted I could send out Glass and continue sweeping.

Hug was good. He was doing just OK. He was definitely useful in lots of risky situations. Also I loved sending him out just to see the "Go! Hug!", It's like I cared about the opposing pokemon :).

Because I hate Pikachu, I didn't expect much from Raichu, but it surprised me by how better he is than Pikachu. He defeated many pokemon all the way through the game and its Static was a nice addition.

Stefan was just there. I can't seem to bring Zebstrika to its full potential. Poor moveset and not that useful abilities made him a pokemon that fainted pretty often, so I hardly could lead with him :(.
