My last declaration
Originally,I started this thread because I just wanted to share the first HK theme song to all members.I wrote "Unfortunately,pokemon is not popular in HK in recently year.But you totally disagreed with this and made firm announcement continuously.And I was not threatened by your non-respectable chinese words which said I was a foolish and even should not step in the forum.And I just said the truth.
Firstly,I am not offending to pokemon.
Secondly,I respect anyone opinion.
Thirdly,My topic is "Pokemon is not popular in HK in recent years"
You should be able to distinguish the following statements:
"I am gay" NOT equals to "Being gay is popular"
"I like pokemon" NOT equals to"Pokemon is popular"
"There are some gay clubs/bars around the world and host lots of activities" NOT equals to"Being gay is popular"(Because they specificed for gay peoples)
"There is a pokemon club in HK and host host lots of activities" NOT equals to "pokemon is popular in HK"(Because they specificed for pokemon lovers)
"According to the news/surveys,over 80 per cent residents in hk will go to gay clubs at least once at week" Equals to "Being gay is popular.
"According to the research,over 80 per cent youngerster had puchased pokemon product before" Equals to "Pokemon is popular.
Clearly,POPULAR is mean very common and represents the whold body/overall condition.
EVERY cratoon has their fans.At the same theory,like another clubs,pokemon lovers are logicall to join activities which be held by Pokemon Alliance in passion or enthusiastically.
One thing that can determine one's popularity is the BOXOFFICE.
Because if a cartoon is being popular,market managers will absolutely arrange a large-scale distribution of it's products especially for movie to attain their ultimate target,MONEY of course .They CAN be instantly rich if the movie is a huge success.Pokemon is worldwide in the PASS.
For example,some well-known pop star even sang for the theme song,like westlife and famous italian singer Laura Pausini.In HK,pokemon had been made as main logo of some snacks for a while.
And in almost every stationary shop,the nearly 2 feet X 2 feet sticker-poster of pokemon which always attracted my attention.
I fully admitted that Pokemon is worldwide in the PASS
But now,
Students on streets hold different comics but not pokemon.
Students in school talks about or make discussion of various cartoon but not pokemon.
I cant't even see it was advertised in TV at once.
I can't notice it was spreaded through over every shopping mall.
Posters about recent movies'DVD were not hung out before they had been released.
I hardly ever hear people comment it.
And you deformed the truth.
Movie 4 and 5 DVDs had been out but I nerver noticed until you mentioned.
Please don't forget the tautology:
More famous it is,More boxoffice it had.
However after movie 3,4 and 5 even not came to screen in HK and the most recent movie was worse than,neither showing up on screen nor makeing into dvd.
The another reason was that i didn't notic it.If it is popular,Does everyone know because of well-advertising.
If there is no promoting in HK,Pokemon will vanish very soon in ASIA with the exception of Japan.
If you still protest against,I have nothing to say.
