What are your thoughts on the regions in the games?
Which is your favourite/least favourite and why?
Where should the next region be based on?

    Spoiler:

They're very diverse and have their own set of landmarks that set them apart. The differences in how buildings are generally laid out in every town and every city with each region, and the varying concentration of NPC populations is something that I also like a lot.

Hoenn is definitely my favorite, thanks to nostalgia factor, the tropical climate and big differences in terrain (ie. things like the Jagged Pass compared to Route 120). Basically, it's a small group of islands; my favorite layout for a region.

I think it would be awesome if another island region is created, one based on New Zealand. This is a country known for its large amount of tourist attractions and climate that changes depending on where you are. (for example, the lower half of the South Island gets a bit of snow, while the North is very tropical). The region, like New Zealand, could be split into a north and south island, with several smaller ones added around them to create room for more landmarks and/or towns and cities.

    Spoiler:

New Zealand is a perfect location to use! It's already in island form and it's not too big or too small and like you said, you could always add in a few more to make space for more.

I would think most existing archipelagos would also fit the bill. I could see Papua New Guinea as a region too! Actually, the way it's shaped sort of it like one (well, I might just be seeing regions).

I love all the regions but in aspect of technology and development I like unova so much. The next region should some area with more nature wild and vast increasing technology and machine in towns.

Kanto > Johto > Evey other region.

My favorite region will always be Hoenn, without a doubt. As for what sort of region I'd personally like to see next--if they could, somehow, put something together relating to Canada, I feel that would be nice. There is a variety of areas to explore in Canada; basing locations off that would help give diversity.
