3rd Gen THe Regi's in Ruby Ver.

The certain method is to use ultra ball and get them down to yellow health, just about red. Then try to catch. There is no particular ball to catch them with, but the most used is ultra ball.

I would say weaken them and catch them, simple. They are legendarys so it is common that they will break out once in a while.

I used about 40 Ultra Balls on Registeel, 20 on Regirock, and 15 on Regice. It may take more or less for you, but it will take a lot no matter what.

Yes sleep poison burn etc would help enormously But when you get it to red it enrages the pokemon, thus making it harder to catch

Theres only one masterball in the game and you get it in the Magma base, if your too late the base has been closed up.

Nope thats just a myth. Never happens unless you have a gameshark (not recommened it can seriously mess up your game)

DON'T Poison or Burn them. They'll be killed off by the damage they take. The only status moves you should use are Sleep and Paralysis.

Also, that last sentence is wrong. Like most Pokemon in general, the Regis don't get enraged when you get them to the red zone. They are EASIER to catch that way. But of course, legendaries have such low catch rates that you'll still need a ton of Ultra Balls to catch them.

Yes, in Emerald, you need Wailord in the first slot and Relicanth in the sixth. The cave locations are the same, but unlocking them is different:

Regice: Walk up to the braille, then walk right and along the wall for one lap.

Regirock: Walk up to the braille, then take two steps left and two steps down, then Rock Smash.

Registeel: Stand in the middle of the room and use Flash.

It's just luck.

Well, to be more precise, it's just a random number generator.

Net Ball > Dive Ball for Kyogre, since he's not underwater when you meet him.

BTW, the prize for matching all five ID numbers at Lilycove is a Master Ball. It's not a rumour, it's true. I usually only seem to match two numbers though for PP Up.

Timer Balls are a good investment, although it's best to wait til they are about to struggle before using one. Change your ball every so often, since I've noticed if you keep using one type of ball they get used to it.

Oddly enough, I've had quite a lot of luck with Kyogre. On both Sapphire and Emerald I only needed to use one Ultra Ball to capture it — both times it was on yellow health. As for Groudon it'd take me four tries, the fourth with four Ultra Balls or thereabout, on Emerald. Rayquaza would usually take about 5 tries. Registeel on Sapphire, I used just one Ultra Ball on it when it was on yellow health. Ohter times for the three Regis, it'd take about ten or twelve tries apiece. Latias and Latios...screw it, I just used the Master Ball on them.

i caught kyogre in my first try, in a net ball! i couldn't believe my eyes, when all my timers were gone, and i thaught like: what the heck? the only balls i have left are nests! i threw 3, and caught it, my eyes popped out of my face when i saw that.
rayquaza: this time i took 50 timers with me, i caught it in his rest, endeavoured, and then timered.
regirock: same story as kyogre, but i caught this one with a dive ball :S
registeel: this one's a bugger: 7 times, and caught in a timer, while sleeping and false swiped.
regice: the hardest: 19(wtf!) times, and caught in a premier ball(whaaaaat!?), cause my timers where gone, i only took what was left from rayquaza, so there weren't much left.
and latias? what the heck: masterball.

I caught Regirock with one ultraball it was easy, I also caught a shiny Claydol in Sky Pillar with one ultraball as well. Good luck with the Regis though.
