3rd Gen THe Regi's in Ruby Ver.

Its just luck basicly, what else can you say?

Keep trying and you'll get it, I had the same tough fight with the regis.

It can be really annoying that you only get one Master Ball. They should've at least made two; one for Latias/Latios, one for Rayquaza.

For me, it usually takes about 5 or more Ultra Balls (after I've chipped down their health). I'm lucky if it takes two.
 
You should paralyze/sleep them and try with Ultra Balls. If you let them Curse too much, they will become harder to catch.

yeah i tried to use spite on cure but i ended up making it struggle then die...i finnally caught them though, it took me like a day for each one.
in the lottery i won with an Altaria the lady sai 'Conragulatonis!Your PC boxed Altaria's ID number Matched with 3 of the loto Numbers!Please take this EXP.Share as your reward!' i didnt really notice this but, why are the pokemon ids diffrent and by the item its Holding it says "OT" then my freinds name. is it because i traded for them or sumthing?oh and does it have to do with only certain trainers winning and stuff?

Um, yeah, every trainer has a different ID number that is randomly generated as soon as you start the game, so Pokemon caught by a friend and traded to your game won't have the same ID as your own Pokemon.

i am pretty lucky

I am pretty darn lucky in colloseum i got Entei in one try with a great ball then with Suicune i got that with one great ball to and for Raiku got it with three great balls

Can Pokemon really "get used to" the same ball, since they have AI?
 
although it's best to wait til they are about to struggle before using one. Change your ball every so often, since I've noticed if you keep using one type of ball they get used to it.

I agree I used about 20 ultra balls on Kyogre and then I threw a premier ball and caught it :D I was like OMG OMG and I caught Gouradon with one ultra :)

I dont know if they actually get used to the balls, or its just one of those things you think - kind of like hammering a button when they are in the ball to see because it feels like its doing something.

Yeah and when i Do that it usually Breaks out. I Feel Like I need To Roar at the Pokemon if it does that. Once i did that with mew because It kept Breaking out and then I accidentaly Saved the game ...X.XThat sucked
 
In my opinion they are the hardest to catch. Out of those 3 Registeel has always been hard for me to catch.

the formula for catching pokemon doesn't take into account attack stat nor defense stat.

and uhhhhhh, i planned to keep the regis where they were because their music sounded cool and so that i could visit them at any time. but in the end i caught them because i also caught rayquaza and latias. and the experience didn't seem complete without them.

so next time i start over with a file, i'm going to leave those 5 legendaries alone. you know, just for fun.
