    Story
    Every kid waits for the day they can begin their Pokemon Journey, but that's not always the case for some. Many kids enter to start their journeys in Pallet, but only four trainers receive the four Pokemon Professor Oak offers. Six children arrive with hopes of becoming Pokemon trainers, only four leave with their dreams coming true. The other two are forced to wait another year until they can get another chance to begin their journeys.

    But this year, Professor Oak has promised that everyone will get to begin their journeys this year, for he has six starter Pokemon ready to go. He awaits the arrival of the crowd of six, only to find that none are 10 years old like they usually are. They're all in between 12-14 years of age.

    You along with five others are finally starting your Pokemon journeys in Kanto. You are in between 12-14 years old and even with you beginning your journey late. You're happiness rivals a normal 10 year old.

    Have one job, to win the Indigo Plateau Pokemon Championships. However, the Indigo Plateau has a new requirement. The trainers must defeat all the gyms in Johto as well. The Indigo Plateau is like a master tournament now. Only the best of the best can enter and the winner is the Champion of both Kanto and Johto.

    You will also be paired up into rivals. You're rival will be a fellow RPer and you will meet up at certain points in the RP.

    Personality: Kyle is nothing more than a giver. He will do anything to make others happy, even if it hurts him in the process. He also is very shy. He keeps to himself and doesn't really talk to others much. But he is quiet talkative when you become his friend. He is a leader at heart, even with him being shy. He can take charge of a situation and manage quiet well.

    History: Kyle was born and raised in Pallet Town. His father was a police officer and his mother was a teacher at a Pokemon School. He dreamed of being a Pokemon trainer so he registered to become one. However, he wasn't picked when he was ten. So he was forced to wait another year. He hadn't been picked three times so he said after this year, he'd give up. But Professor Oak said he had Pokemon for six trainers instead of four, so Kyle happily decided to register for this time.

    Personality :Vincent is what you call care free. Its his attitude that leads people to believe that he's lazy something Vincent would deny as being untrue. In Vincents own words he just hasn't found anything that hes passionate about and when he does he will be a dedicated person. This was one of the reasons Vincent became a trainer to try and become less of a lazy slacker and more of a passionate person

    History :From the day Dominic was born he always wanted to be a trainer but his lazy attitude always meant he would be one of the last persons to arrive to get a pokemon. Dominic grew up in Pallet town so he should not have had a problem getting a pokemon before some others trainers who came from out of city but his attitude always meant he came last. Growing up around great trainers and hearing about the excellent trainers who have come out of Pallet town has been his inspiration since he was little and the reason he wanted to be a trainer.

    Age (12-14): 14
    Gender: Female

    Personality: Joni is keen, energetic and impulsive. She tends not to think before she acts, whether it be making a decision or accidentally saying something that may offend. She is both stubborn and loyal, so if she sees a friend in danger she will put herself in peril to save them. She is rash, easily excited and loud, but still has an almost addictive, charismatic personality. Although she is abrupt and occasionally difficult to get along with due to her stubbornness, she is well valued by her friends.

    Appearance: Joni stands at 5'3'' and weighs 115lbs. Her hair is a mousey brown and usually pushed up into a ponytail; her eyes are hazel and bright. Her skin is slightly tanned due to her keenness of the outdoors, and her legs are often covered in bruises or scratches from exploring through tall grass.
    She wears a pair of denim shorts, her yellow socks starting at her shins and ending inside her blue low-top converse trainers. She dons a white polo shirt, over which she wears a thin red jacket, which she prefers to wear with the sleeves rolled up. On her shoulder she carries a yellow backpack to store her items, but she likes to show her Pokeballs on her belt.

    History: Joni lived in Cerulean City with her parents for most of her life. Joni's mother is all too aware of her daughter's impulsive personality, and felt that she wasn't old enough to journey on her own at the age of ten. However, when Joni's father got a job as Professor Oak's assistant in Pallet, he saw trainers come and go from the lab year after year, and soon began to wish the same for his daughter. Joni's father persuaded his wife that 14 was a perfectly reasonable age to travel, and after much coaxing, Joni was permitted to leave.

    Nox stood rigidly in the entrance of the cavern, his eyes fixedly pointing to the direction of the far away village, just visible in the glare of the moon.
    The Moon. Clear nights were always difficult to work in, and of course, there was no sign of cloud cover. The vast desert provided no shadows, and he knew that the Scarlet Kingdom would be looking for any movement that suggested another raid from his Horde.
    Nox glanced up to the sky once more, but the chance of any cover was almost ludicrous; for there to be a cloud, there would need to be a promise of rain, and Nox's hopes of water had dried up along with the last water reserves.
    The risk of the raid would be high tonight, he knew that. The less experienced would have to stay behind, and he couldn't wait for the better fighters. With one final look at the skies, Nox slunk away from the cavern, the village getting closer with every determined stride.

    Personality: Blake is very outgoing, and sometimes bites off more than he can chew. He tries to fix situations with hilarity and crazy schemes that ultimately end in failure. Blake is actually very kind towards others but can sometimes be rude. He thinks of himself as the best trainer and the better person out of those he befriends. But he does it to protect his friends, who he really watches over. May sometimes be stubborn, but always tries his hardest.

    Appearance: Slick blonde hair that covers one of his teal eyes. He is pretty short compared to the other trainers. He wears a trademark red jacket with a pokeball for the center design. He wears a greenish belt that makes him look like a lawn gnome and dark black pants that makes him look more normal. He sometimes wears yellow straw sandals but mainly uses unfashionable white tennis shoes. He wears a hat depending on his mood. If he's angry, he'll take his hat off, but when he's in a good mood, he'll keep it on.

    History: Blake was always interested in Pokemon. Even when he was a little child, he would always try to hug anything that even came remotely close to looking like a pokemon. His mom used to be a Pokemon Professor and his father is a Pokemon Doctor. His parents raised him to believe that Pokemon are just like humans and should be treated as such. But his family's Politoad died when he was 7, and he never forgave himself since then. He was running in search of new pokemon but caught himself on the edge of a ledge. Politoad came to try to save him and ended up injured after falling off. Politoad lived for two more days before passing. Blake never forgives himself for any mistakes.

    Starter Pokemon: Horsea

    RP Sample:Ambros watched as Alex fought against the Nidoking....Saal, he had heard the name come up. For now, Alex warned him to stay back, and then strike as a last defense. By then there should only be 200 Neoversians. Tough odds, but nothing he hadn't seen before. He was also supposed to find the Kaiser and inform him not to attack the Nidoking. Alex was more than enough to defeat him. What he worried about was a strange tension in the air. He felt disasters, and this was unnatural. He centered his thoughts and followed the strange presence. It was familiar, but yet so distant. He was broken out of his thought by a Thunder. He looked over to see Alex attack a Mighteyena then trail back to his hiding spot. That isn't like Alex...to single out one weak opponent. He felt the tingling sensation again. Something was happening. Alex wasn't..right. He was out of control, or maybe confused. It should pass, now he was just looking for where that Thunder came from. He looked over to see Alex's eyes a pure Yellow. That wasn't...that wasn't Alex! A Rhyperior attacked him. "ALEX!" but he couldn't hear him from his position on top a fault.

    Personality: very cheery and happy. but sometimes she can get a little carried away. She is serouis when she needs to be. She is a great encoureger. She is a bit sensitive. She loves to go on adventures, and be with friends and family.

    History: Lana was one of the kids that were regected on her tenth birthday. Her heart was broken. but she quickly got up and said "I'll get to do it next year!" She waited. But then the next year, the same thing happened. She is finally looking forward to her next chance.

    Name: Serenity Leann Matthews

    Gender: Female

    Personality: Outspoken, headstrong, loud and impulsive do not do Serenity much justice when used to describe her. She prides herself on being "out there" and completely random, even if it puts her into damsel in distress like moments. Other people call her "odd", and some even become frustrated at not being able to comprehend her bizarre actions, but to her it's all completely normal. She is extremely cat-like in nature, curiosity nips at her heels, random things will stray her train of thought, and she is not one to pass up a nice slumber... Even if it could leave her in last place.

    Serenity has a small frame which allows her to curl up snugly into tight spaces. Her complexion appears much more fair than it actually is when compared to the white tufts of hair that frame her slender face. The bangs along with the nape of her neck is cropped, jagging and jigging this way and that, but two thick bunches of hair remain long and rest upon her shoulders ending just above her midsection. Serenity's bright eyes are wide and a murky hazel, mixed with deep green ocean blue hue about them.

    History: Serenity's parents were always working hard to barely make ends meat. They were really nothing special, just like her childhood. They suffered to provide what they could for their only daughter, and did exceptionally well in her eyes. Unfortunately, life can be cold hearted, and her father passed when Serenity was at the young age of ten. He always would tell her she would be something great, and encouraged her to do anything she could to get out and see the world, it was something he could not do... She honored that and held his dying wish dear to her heart, becoming a pokemon trainer seemed like the perfect mission. Sadly, she was denied by Oak, four others were able to claim the only pokemon, but this year it would be different.

    Name: Tyler Clark
    Age: 13
    Gender: Male
    Personality: Tyler is a very troubled and dark person. He only keeps to himself, and hates being with other people.He is always rude towards other people. He doesn't have any friends, and is antisocial. He is also very competitive, and likes to compete in almost everything. He is always on the lookout for things to do, and likes to maintain a journal. When it comes to Pokemon battles, he is very strategic and crafty. Because he has never been in social situations, he finds himself out of place with the other children.

    Appearance: Tyler has black hair and blue eyes. He wears a black t-shirt with a navy blue hoodie. He wears a black fedora, and hates to remove it. He also always wears a pokeball badge. He wears black fingerless gloves to copy the style of his TV icon, Ash.

    History:Tyler used to be a very cheerful and happy-go-lucky person. He spent his childhood making friends and helping others. It all changed when one day he went out to route 1 and was attacked by a Team Rocket Grunt. He was scared out of his wits, and was paralyzed with fear. That was when Lance, Champion of the Pokemon League, came and rescued him by defeating the Grunt. Tyler quizzed him about Team Rocket, and was shocked to find out about them. Lance then asked Tyler to one day get all gym badges and challenge the Pokemon League. He gifted Tyler with a pokeball badge, which he still wears.

    But Tyler was left traumatized after the encounter and decided that relationships with other people were useless and decided to focus solely on Pokemon, so that if something like that happened again he could counter it. He started staying away from people, and focused on researching Pokemon. He was angry when he didn't get his first Pokemon on his 10th birthday, and had to wait almost three years for his Pokemon. But when he finally got his Pokemon he was really happy although he didn't show it to anybody else.

    1. Will we be able to capture the actual starters? (Squirtle, Charmander, etc)
    2. Will the Battles be Anime Style?
    3. What regions wild Pokemon can be found here? Only Johto, Kanto? Or other regions as well?

    2. I think they will. I like discription in posts.
    3. Yes, just Pokemon from Kanto and Johto for now. We will be going to other regions as this RP progresses.
