I recently recieved a rhyhoprn egg and trade and hatched it.

It turned iut not shiiny but regular.......

all jokes aside, at level 1, It's moveset was as follows:

    Horn attack
    Tail whip
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake

At first i was like "Cool! earthquake out of the gate". But I recently went to serebii and looked up rhyhorn and lo and behold, Rhyhorn not only does not have earthquake as an eg move, but neither has stone edge as well as one either.
Just asking if this is completely wrong.

If you got it off a tarde, you got yourself a hacked Pokemon.

Remember TMs can also be passed as egg moves.

I too, have a charmander with flamethrower. Not because its hacked but because it was passed off with a tm from the father. I'd say you have a COMPLETELY legit rhyhorn. (next time if it knows giga drain then start a thread on that xD)

As everyone said, those moves can be passed as TM egg moves.Rhyron can learn Blizzard through TM and if you breed the offspring may have it.Egg moves are moves that you'll need a pokemon that learns that move to breed with the pokemon you want to get an egg from.

    EDIT:100 post!

Any move the pokemon can learn through TM can be passed on through breeding. Egg moves are just moves that are gained exclusively through breeding.

ITS A NORMAL Rhydon, it can learn TM/HM moves in the beginning

IIRC, the offspring can learn a TM move from the father. And if the mother knows a move that the offspring can learn by level up, then the offspring can learn that as well. I don't know how it decides which moves are chosen, however. Like if the father has 3 TM moves and the mother 2 level up moves. Maybe someone else can clear that up.

    Breeding is wonderful.
You get the exclusive Egg Moves and TMs the baby can learn which either the father or the mother has learnt.

So, in conclusion, your Rhyhorn is 99.9999999999% Legit.
